因我从小就与父母生活在广东，初回故乡，首先最吸引我的是那座座高耸入云的山。那日，祖母带我上山去看牛。祖母撵着牛走在前头，我在祖母身后，兴奋得蹦蹦跳跳，那头灰色的大水牛喘着粗重的大气，一边大步向前走，一边伸出粗大的舌头把泥泞小路旁那些挡着它前进的嫩绿的芦苇杆一卷而进嘴里，还仿佛上瘾似的咀呀咀，直到咀出白沫，舌头又一伸，就卷下新的嫩草。我看着它那津津有味的样子，嘴都禁不住发馋，那些嫩绿的芦苇杆一定很美味吧。一路上，调皮的芦苇杆轻轻地挠得我的小腿痒痒的，水珠顺着长长的叶脉滑落而下，最后钻进我的衣裤里，晶莹晶莹、冰凉冰凉的，真舒服。路旁还有一些不知名的小野花，粉的、紫的、白的、蓝的 像星星，像眼睛，还眨呀眨呀的。在大城市见多了牡丹玫瑰的我，忍不住弯下腰轻轻抚摸她们的花瓣，是那么的娇小却又是那么的柔嫩，五颜六色的小野花沿小道延伸，让我不禁迷醉其间。大水牛像是我的向导，它比我还要熟悉这条小径，它知道哪有最鲜美的草，怪不得它那么壮，那么肥。我偷偷地想，幸好它有人性，不然，它那牛蹄踩我一脚，不死也得半残了。它慢悠悠的一边卷着嫩草吃，一边来到小泉边，再时不时喝几口，看着它那畅饮的豪爽样子，我也俯下身来，捧起一捧清泉，送入嘴边，然后我惊呆了，真有这么沁人心脾的甘露吗?我又一次次捧起水来畅饮，最后，我把脚都放入泉里，好冰爽的感觉，泉水清澈见底，里面的沙土和小虾鱼都可以直视无碍，小鱼儿在那里荡了荡，时不时游到水面，过着悠闲自得的生活。此时，我开始羡慕起那头大水牛来，它的日子过得比城里人还要舒服得多哪。
