I read the book then watched the movie, both of them ga一ve me great shock, I really admire Meggie,she had the courage to use her whole life to love Ralph, never ga一ve up. She believed that she would love Ralph only in her life. But I don’t like Meggie’s attitude to love, Ralph is a Father, and he mustn’t love Meggie, they really loved each other, but they are not destined to be together. So in my opinion I think Meggie should give in, she shouldn’t fight with God, Ralph had told her he would serve God forever, so Meggie wouldn’t win. Maybe giving up is a good choice. Their love is painful.

Tell the turth I don’t like Meggie neither Ralph, Ralph could not give Meggie happniess while Meggie couldn’t support Ralph to concentrate on his work. So they would not ha一ve happy life, they only made each other feel sad .

Frank is my fa一vorite role. he was short but strong ,and he was one of the main labor in his family. He didn’t want to be a shepherd, but the family needed him , and he must feed he the sheep so that everybody in his family can live better. Once he escaped from home , but it wassn’t long before his father found him and take him home. I feel so sorry that he had a miserable fate. He longed for freedom but most of his life didn’t belong to himself, it’s really a pity .

Frank was different to every man in their home, he loved his mother deeply, and he always helped his mother do the housework. he dreamed to be an outstanding boxer. Frank was considerable, and he always try his best to make Meggie feel happy. As Meggie’s oldest brother, he could be worried about Meggie’s fa一vorite doll, and he even tried to fixed the doll which was distroyed by Meggie’s other brothers. Frank and Meggie would always tell each other what they thought in their deep heart , and they are close friends.

I was so sad when I learned that Frank killed a man and he was sent to the prision. It is really a big shock to Meggie, for Frank was the only one who can listen to Meggie’s secrets. She thought she lost Frank forever. I cannot imagine how painful for Frank to spend dozens years in the prision. He once had good dream about his life, but he had to waste most of his life in prision. In my opinion it was Frank’s father that distoryed his life. His father didn’ t give him freedom, and Frank can’t had strong resistance spirits, and because he didn’t control himself and broke the law.The energitic Frank will never come to us, and he became a man who didn’t wanna talk. He began to be afraid of the world…it is really a pity.

As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. Meggie wanna be a thorn bird, but I think it was too cruel to her. She was so kind that she shouldn’t stand that king of pain, and I think she was born to ha一ve a happy life. I pity for her.

Both the story of thorn birds and the legend are painful and beautiful, but not every one can be the thorn birds, because it is not our porpose to ha一ve a painful life. We are born to be happy. Olny happiness is the ture meaning of life while the story was written for us to enrich our life. It is a wonderful story.

在假期里，我每天坚持练习钢琴和跆拳道。每天早饭后15分钟，我就开始写作业。我非常认真、专心。写完每天的作业，出去玩一个小时，然后回家练一个小时的钢琴。下午，则是我喜欢的跆拳道时间，我在那里认识了很多朋友。8月份，我还参加了钢琴六级的考试和两次钢琴比赛。这都是我坚持和努力的结果。

马上要升入三年级，对英语的要求也更高了。每周五和周日上午，我会去英语学校学英语。我非常喜欢上英语课，每次都像在做游戏，我们学得非常开心。

按照计划，七月份，我完成了学校发的两本暑假作业。八月，我做了一本二年级的《阶梯阅读》，每天做两个小短文，它可以丰富我的阅读和做阅读类习题的能力。口算当然不能少了，每天30道的口算题，我做得又快又准确。妈妈给我借了三年级上册的语文书和数学书，我预习了其中的一部分内容，了解了千米、吨，知道了两位数乘一位数和有余数的除法。三年级上册的语文字贴我每天坚持写六到七行字，已经写了十几课，看着自己写出的钢笔字，特别有成就感。

当然，读书是我最喜欢的，假期一定少不了。我读了《了不起的狐狸爸爸》、《跑猪噜噜》、《杨柳风》、《不一样的卡梅拉》(第一辑)。还参加了我们班《观看四D电影》、《小小图书管理员》两次社会实践活动。

My winter holiday was very interesting.As that day i got back to my native hometown,cousins and cousines took me to ski.My skiing skill isnt good,got down for 15 times,they laughed at me behind,i cant help smiling， too.The day of Spring Festival was the most happiness day,we had meal for the first,a table of delicious food,that made me so glad.Then we played the fireworks.The childrens waving the lightening ticket while watching the adults playing the fireworks.That was so beautiful!Like the stars rainning down the world.At the end,it was time to get the red bag.we were very exciting,and satisfied.Sometimes,we also went shopping and bought something we like. First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have

experienced in high school.For instance,I used to lean upon my dormitory teacher

worse there would be nobody remind me except my teacher!So the differences are

My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a

habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my

favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I

wish to win more competitions in my campus life.

Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced

teachers,also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that Ive

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. the weather was hot. my little brother and i decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. it took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. the we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” we were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. as quickly as possible. we swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. he lost his consciousness. we sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

走进去一看，只见又是一个宽阔的大厅，右边有一个月亮型的大理石池子，里面盛满了热气腾腾的泉水。我扑通一下跳进去，太舒服了!我坐在池子里，按了一下旁边一个红色的按钮，水就我身下“咕嘟咕嘟”的冒了上来，伴着热气腾腾的蒸汽，好像在煮饺子一样——好大的饺子啊!当了一会儿饺子，我发现旁边有两个椭圆形的水池。我很好奇，趴在池边一看，啊，里面有成百上千的鱼，每一条都只有我的指甲那么大。进去以后，就有很多小鱼围在我的脚上、腿上咬我，这也太痒了。“哈哈哈，这是怎么回事啊?”我一边躲避一边大喊。这时一个阿姨走过来告诉我这是“鱼疗”。哦，我恍然大悟——这就是电影《泰囧》里面的鱼疗啊!这时，妈妈过来了对我说：“还有室外温泉呢。”我想：外面这么冷，泉水怎么可能在外面呢?在外面泡，那我还不得冻成干啊!

半信半疑的跟着妈妈来到了室外，一阵冷风吹来，冻得我瑟瑟发抖。一看到旁边一个温泉池子，我立刻跳进了温泉：啊，真暖和啊。我这才仔细一瞧，发现顺着一个缓缓的山坡，两边分布着一个又一个一米见方的温泉池子，有枸杞浴、巧克力浴、苹果醋浴……

徐老师是我最喜欢的一位老师，她讲课与众不同，风格独特。大家都知道，在自己不喜欢写作时，如果老师硬逼着我们写，那么我们只会绞尽脑汁，挖空心思，像挤牙膏似的挤出毫无生气的语句来。而徐老师从不生硬死板地给我们讲解作文的方法，而是联系我们的生活实际，让我们在生活中学作文，由课内延伸到课外，从狭隘的书本拓展到广阔的生活。她在讲作文的时候，还经常联系自己的亲身经历，这更引发了我们极大的兴趣，觉得这样学习不但轻松，而且有趣，也使我们对作文产生了浓厚的兴趣。就如那次来说吧，老师讲怎样写童年趣事，她不但结合例子告诉我们怎样选材，怎样围绕中心来写，怎样安排详略等等，而且还给我们讲她小时侯的故事。有一次，她上山采蘑菇，正当采得起劲儿时，不小心撞上了马蜂窝，吓得她大叫一声，扔下篮子，掉头奔逃，结果还是被一只大马蜂蜇了一下，第二天半边脸肿得老高，样子十分滑稽。徐老师还给我们讲了她小时候的外号“老三扁”的由来：因为她爷爷不太会抱孩子，出门时总是把她夹在腋窝下，日子长了，头就有些扁了，由于她排行老三，人们就给她取了“老三扁”的外号……老师讲得生情并茂，我们听得津津有味，听着这些有趣的故事，我们总能在开怀大笑的同时，领悟到作文的某些真谛。

徐老师讲作文的独到之处还在于，我们写作文时，徐老师也跟我们一起写，她写出来的作文只要稍加修改便是一篇佳作，让我们好佩服呢。徐老师非常爱写作，她经常在夜深人静的时候，敲击着键盘，写下一篇篇文章。那次她为了给我们写一篇下水文，一直写到凌晨四点多呢，她这种敬业精神更令我们钦佩。徐老师在我们临走之前，写了一篇两千字左右的赠文送给我们做纪念，文中句句都饱含着老师对我们的殷切期望。她还把自己比较满意的文章一一打印出来，发给我们，让我们阅读，交流……我们不会辜负老师对我们的期望，今后一定多读多写，将来也能写出像徐老师那样的作文来。

对了，徐老师家养了一只小狗——可鲁小姐，它可热情啦。每次我们来，它总是热烈地欢迎我们。它可是我的好朋友哦，我每天去都会和它玩上一阵，与它说说话。我与它说话时，它听得可认真了，两只乌黑的大眼睛一眨不眨地注视着我，尾巴不时摇晃几下，像是听懂了似的。有一天我因事没来，第二天去，可鲁见了我就像见了久别重逢的老朋友一样，使劲儿地摇着尾巴，热烈地欢迎我，我为有这样一个动物朋友而高兴。

presently, the world is faced with serious water problems. but these problems witt become more intense and more comple in the future. our increasing population witt tremendously increase urban waters, primarily sewage. on the other hand, increasing demands for water witt decrease substantially the amount of water available for diluting wastes.

rapidly epanding industries which involve more and more comple chemical processes will produce large volumes of liquid wastes. many of thesewitt contain chemicals that are poisonous. to feed our rapidly epanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified.

this will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. from this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

there are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. the first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. this involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal.

the second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained.

liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. only by doing these promptly now can we epect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

Nowadays,more and more people feel like emigrating to foreign countries,such as America, England and Canada. There are many reasons accounting for this phenomenon.And peopie have diffrent opinions to these emigrants.

Some people think migrate to some foreign countries with a view to making their children receive good education there.Others just want to experience a different culture they like.Although it may be exciting to drop their family in a totally unfamiliar place.They desire to meet new things ,new people,and new worlds.All in all,the most important things is they must have enough money and time.All these above factors contribute to their choice to migrate to another country. As far as I am concerned,I prefer to live in my country for long rather than migrate to other foreign countries. For one thing, I don’t like to live far from my friends and relatives. For another, I can’t bear to speak and listen to a foreign language from day to night. In a word, everyone has his right to decide where to live, and everyone’s choice should be respected.

Everyone knows that eyes are one of the most important parts of our body.Having good eyesight means we can not only see things clearly,but also enjoy some beautiful scenes.there is also a saying going that eyes are the window of our mind.But how can we protect our eyes?
