端午节那天，我和妈妈早上去菜场买了一些棕叶、糯米。回到家里妈妈把一个盆子里装了水，把棕叶放在里面，我很纳闷就问妈妈：“妈妈，为什么要把棕叶泡在水里？”妈妈说：“棕叶泡在水里才不会发干变硬，这样我们才好包呀！”噢，原来如此。

妈妈洗好米，也将米泡在水里，我连忙对妈妈说：“妈妈，米泡在水里，也是和棕叶一样的道理吧！”妈妈点点头说：“是的。”

终于开始包棕子了，只见妈妈将两片棕叶重叠在一起，将大的一头圈成一个漏斗的样子，然后放入米，再把多余的叶子顺着漏斗包裹起来，最后将绳子横在三个角中间，绑好两个角，这样一个棕子就诞生了。

我也学着妈妈的样子包，可是我的棕子真是漏斗，一不小心，米就一粒一粒的往下落，妈妈告诉我在卷成漏斗形状时要注意不能有缝，那样就真成了漏斗了，米在放进去的时候也要按紧了这样煮出来的米才结实。我小心翼翼的包着，终于我成功了，我特意将我包的棕子用绳子系好，这是我的劳动成果，我要留作纪念。

我很高兴，我学会了包棕子，所以我忘不了今年的端午节。

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the

world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and

poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down

and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever

we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact,

threatening our existence.

The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves

and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized

these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the

government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be

solved in the near future and our home will become better and

In the courtyard of my hometown, there is an old phoenix tree that has been

with the town for decades.

Indus trees are not as slim as maple trees, nor are they evergreen like

pine trees. It is just a tall and thick tree with a plain appearance, but it

gives a sufficient sense of security. Relying on it, you dont have to worry

that it will crumble like a skinny maple, and you dont have to worry that it

will "pin to pin" to you like a pine tree. Its sturdy body is always waiting for

your support; its smooth skin wont hurt you in the slightest.

In the hot summer, my pleasure is to enjoy the shade under the tall plane

tree. Its lush leaves will divide the dazzling sunlight into small pieces and

sprinkle it down, which is also warm on the body. Leaning on the trunk and

looking up, the plane tree is really featureless, and its ordinary appearance is

incomparable with those beautiful scenery elsewhere. However, in my eyes, only

it is the most beautiful. Its beauty is not in appearance, but beauty from the

When I was a child, because the adults in the family were busy with work,

I went to beijing to play during last summer holiday.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. 炎热的夏天走了，凉爽的秋天来了，在这秋高气爽的季节，我们一家决定去公园游玩。 The hot summer is gone, and the cool autumn is here. In this autumn season, our family decides to visit the park.

一进入公园，我发现公园里的树叶没有往日那样苍翠茂盛了。远处映入我眼帘的是一片火红的枫树林。一阵秋风吹来枫叶摇摇摆摆的落下来，好像在向我们招手。有的枫叶像离开母亲的孩子一样，投入了大地的怀抱;还有的像美丽的蝴蝶一样飞来飞去;还有的像小鸟一样在空中翱翔;还有的像一片孤帆一样在海洋里飘荡。

突然一片枫叶打到我的脸上，再轻轻地落到我的脚上，然后它好像在说：“对不起，我不是有意的。”我捡起来一看，它穿着一件红外套，全身呈鹅掌形，又有点像五角星，还有点像人的手掌，叶子的边缘都是锯齿形状的，把叶子翻过来，可以看到许多大小不一的经脉，把叶子贴在鼻子上闻一闻，啊，一股清爽的淡淡的香味涌入我鼻中。

可是我不懂的就是为什么枫叶一到秋天就会变红，查过资料才知道，枫树的叶子里有胡萝卜素和花青素，这两个是形成红色的主要原素，落秋后花青素增加，气温下降使绿叶素破坏，因此绿叶就变成了红叶，所以到了秋天枫叶就变成了红色，哦，原来如此!

啊，我爱秋天，更爱秋天的枫叶!

说起未来的生活，我就有许多幻想。未来的鞋可以在天空中飞；游泳圈可以自动在水中让你游起来；只要你对铅笔盒说出你需要的物品，它就会自动拿出来你想要的东西……可是在我的脑海中，印象最深的是未来的“房子”。

My winter holiday was very interesting.As that day i got back to my native hometown,cousins and cousines took me to ski.My skiing skill isnt good,got down for 15 times,they laughed at me behind,i cant help smiling， too.The day of Spring Festival was the most happiness day,we had meal for the first,a table of delicious food,that made me so glad.Then we played the fireworks.The childrens waving the lightening ticket while watching the adults playing the fireworks.That was so beautiful!Like the stars rainning down the world.At the end,it was time to get the red bag.we were very exciting,and satisfied.Sometimes,we also went shopping and bought something we like. Winter holiday life was really wonderful!

Different people have different opinions about school life.As for me,I think it likes a cup of coffee.Maybe a little bitter,but I really enjoy it.Some students hate homework a lot.

There are three people in his family and he is the only child. His father

Freedom in my Dream As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and

plans must be carried out as follows. Firstly, don’t waste any electricity and

water. Remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them.

Secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the

emissions of carbon dioxide. Thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping

instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of

disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution.

What’s more, it is of great significance to plant more trees, since trees can

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. the weather was hot. my little brother and i decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. it took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. the we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” we were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. as quickly as possible. we swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. he lost his consciousness. we sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

In the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. that day was meaningful. we did a good deed!

around him are willing to make friends with him. So keeping promises is very

important, we should never break our promises, or we will be abandoned by

others. First, we should never late for meeting or date. When we make a deal

with others to meet at some places, we shall be there in time or earlier, it is

rude to be late and let others wait for a long time. I hate my friends late for

meeting, though they have reasons, they could have been here in advance. Second,

we’d better think twice before making a promise, if we promise people, it means

we have ability to finish it, people are hold great hope on us, if we fail, how

Secondly, credit cards represent great honour. People using credit cards shows his special identity and draw others attention.

On the other hand, credit cards are not always that good. Credit cards can lead to overspending somehow. People pay more than they have and then get busy paying off. Furthermore the credit card cheating happens more often.

In my opinion, credit cards do good in our life. But we should use them carefully. Only when used credit cards properly can make contribution to a more convenient and safer life.

This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern,

we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others

prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has

advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the

surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things.

There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there

isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall,

delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities

and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city

life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the

improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people

and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual

Echo,my favourite teacher,is a pretty and slim lady.One of the most

important reason that I like her is that she is very sincere.When she talks to

others,she always has a smile on her face.I think Echo is a natural teacher

beacuse she has a lot of good methods on teaching.She is not only quite

friendly, but also humorous.Her class is full of fun that you have never feel

bored.To improve our grades,she usually gives us some advices about how to learn

English well.Whats more,she sacrificed her own time to help every student,no

thought of gain.Sometimes,she nearly has no time to have lunch.When I ask her

questions,she must spare no effort to make me understand,with patience and

careness.I have never seen such a good teacher as her before.A good teacher can

Table tennis is one of the most popular sports in China. It’s my favorite,

skills. I often play table tennis after class. Most of my classmates like it. So
