Our miracle story comes from an incident that occurred in Flanders, Belgium, at the dawn of World War I. On December 24th ,1914, German and English troops faced each other from the relative safety of their ditches across which no mans land lying between them. This miraculous scene occasioned the declaration of a truce followed by English and German troops greeting one another, exchanging small gifts and singing songs of Christmas. Word of this incredible phenomenon reached the High Command of both sides.

On Christmas Day, both armies moved from their positions to engage in the killing of war at other battlefields. However, on Christmas Eve 1914 on a field in Flanders, there was Peace on Earth.

Christmas is a truly amazing phenomenon. The day and season perpetuate a miraculous, historical event as an annual presence that challenges an often rough, cruel, and egotistical creature -- the human being -- to become open and amenable to their Creators vision. The great miracle of Christmas continues in the performance of humane acts, moral honesty, and in the spiritual awareness of millions struggling to lead a life of grace.

today, even-increasing people think studying abroad is a good approach to students. i think its main advantage is that students can learn foreign languages better because of the good language environment. it helps them to improve the level of foreign languages. outstanding language level can enhance their core competition when finding jobs in the future. secondly, studying abroad provides people golden opportunities to expand their horizon and learn advance foregin technology. moreover, it is useful to spread and exchange different culture. however, there exist numbers of disadvantages. first, those who go to abroad for studying usually are much young. generally specking, they lack of experience of life and cannot take good care of themselves. second, students will feel lonely and miss their hometowns, especially on Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn festival. furthermore, living and tuition generally are too high that people cannt afford it. so, if you want to study abroad, you should consider the above points carefully.

Christmas is the biggest festival in the western world, which people all over the Christian countries celebrate. It is on the 25th day of each December. Christians consider it as the birthday of Jesus Christ. But now many customs and habits are beyond religious meaning, The Christmas season begins five or six weeks before the exact holiday. A month ago, the golden child English cram school held a Christmas activities.

We just out of college to the golden boy of fifth grade classes, an enter a door to see is full of balloons, came into the classroom after see the seats are filled, so we had to stand to participate in the activities.

After 15 minutes of waiting, finally to 4 o clock, we began the first part: you like me to guess. Teacher asked several of the students go to guess, a minute, sun Dai Xu and Sun Hongsen (is our fifth grade) guess most, each had a big box.

The second part is a turnip squat, game six people, playing two innings, but didnt call me.

Next to the third step is to answer the question, I heard there are a lot of people complain about the teacher back to us, dont call us. This bureau the teacher finally told me that I easily right topic, get a big box.

一个月前，金童英语补习班举行了圣诞节活动。

我们五年级刚出校门就飞奔到金童补习班，一进门看到到处都是气球，进教室后看到座位上都坐满人了，我们只好站着参加活动。

等了十五分钟后，终于到四点钟了，我们开始了第一个环节：你来比划我来猜。老师叫了几个同学上去猜，一分钟时间，孙戴旭和孙洪森(都是我们五年级的)猜的最多，每人得了一个大礼盒。

第二个环节是萝卜蹲，一局六人，玩两局，可是没叫我。

第三个环节是回答问题，我听到旁边有许多人在抱怨老师背对着我们，根本不叫我们。这局老师终于叫我了，我很轻松的答对了题，得到了一个大礼盒。

这个圣诞节活动我不仅获得了许多礼物，还获得了许多知识。圣诞活动真好玩。
