In this film, as we can see, the Shawshank Prison, which enjails lots of people. They have been in the prison form many years ,so they won’t go abroad. Because they won’t and also they can’t. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and what’s their hope. As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined. For example, he seldom see cars before. He felt very strange and helpless to the outside world He can hardly adapt to the new developed world. He would rather stay in the prison. He never gives up. he took nearly twenty years to dip a tunnel with a little rock hammer which Red said it would take a man 600 years to tunnel under the wall with one of these to fight for his free .And he did it finally. Please imagine, crossing the tunnel he dup, he still should crawled through five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness. That is the length of five football fields.

Then is the last but not least, I think. He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent, and the most important thing----hope. Recently I have read a famous Chinese classical novel-The romance of the Three Kingdoms and I felt benefit a lot. Let me tell you about my feelings.

The romance of the Three Kingdoms is one of the four great Chinese master pieces. It was written by Luo Guanzhong, who was born in 1330. It describes nearly 200 characters and tells the story from the late Eastern Han dynasty to the unified of Jin dynasty.

The minute I started to read this book, I was deeply impressed by the sentence at the beginning of the novel: "The empire, long divided, must unite; long united, must divide." It is so philosophical. It reflected the main history of the Three Kingdoms, from the rebellion of the Yellow Turbans to the replacement of the division of the country into Three Kingdoms (Wei, Shu and Wu) by the Jin Dynasty. In these periods, it showed a lot of heroic deeds, and what the heroes did had made a brilliant history. In this novel, the hero I admire mostly is Guan Yu, the general of Shu.

"A man of enormous height, nine spans tall, with a two-foot-long beard flowing from his rich, ruddy cheeks. He had glistening lips, eyes sweeping sharply back like those of the crimson-faced phoenix, and brows like nestling silkworms. His stature was imposing, his bearing awesome." Once, when Guan Yu was having a battle with Cao Cao (the Master of Wei), he lost connection with Liu Bei(the Master of Shu), and finally he had to surrender because Liu Beis family was with him. Cao Cao appreciated Guan Yus talents, he provided a fabulous palace and lots of money to Guan Yu. Despite Guan Yu was taken good care of in the Cao Cao’s camp, but his heart was still with the Liu Bei’s camp. He had never given up looking for his master. As soon as he got the news of Liu Bei, Guan Yu had forced five passes and slew six captains, finally he found his master. His behavior showed not only his loyalty to his master but also his bravery.

Admittedly, Guan Yus death is also a lamentable. Because of his complacency, he looked down on the army of Wu, lost Jingzhou (an important City), finally, he flopped, and was killed by his personal enemy.

Every preconceived notion audiences might have about "Anaconda" is correct. This supposed serpentine shocker features doomed adventurers wading through murky water while a deadly snake approaches and "Jaws"-like music throbs. 最终，小奥利佛获得了身份、地位、财富、亲人……

彻底变成了上等人，过上了幸福的生活。

这就是《雾都孤儿》的故事。

无巧不成书。

故事之所以是故事，就是它是生活的影子，又是理想的幻境。

生活中，贫穷的阶级就处在作者描写的那些东西中间。混乱、破败、饥饿、无品德、一切都为利益至上……而这种环境下的人，就成长为低级、为了生存而不择手段。

生活中，很多人打着做慈善、为社会帮贫扶弱的旗号，为自己敛财，盘剥穷人，欺负老弱幼小……现如今也难以避免这样的人。

生活中，生活富足的人，阶级高贵，读书识字，有着坚毅的品行和高尚的情操，他们善良仁慈，有好名声，有好职位，有好教养……连流落在外的种子都有着正统的根。

人世间的事儿，似乎古往今来都没有什么变化。

除了社会变革动荡的那些年以外。

我们不是有一个时期，穷是无上的光荣，富是可耻。

可那是短暂的。

更多更长的历史时期里，穷都是可耻的，万恶之源，不应该存在的存在，让人想竭力避免又无法避免的社会毒瘤。

穷的人更是有问题的，没血统，没能力，更容易和罪恶挂钩，更容易酿成惨剧。

像小奥利佛一样成长为一个高贵灵魂的孤儿院的孩子，是一个特例，穷人中的特例。

虽然金钱不等于品质，但绝对会污染品质。

曾经有一个实验。

将一个小姑娘放在熙熙攘攘的街头，寻求陌生人的救助。

第一次衣着邋遢，化妆窘迫，结果理的人寥寥。

至少别人是这么划等号的。

1838年，查尔斯狄更斯写出了这部世界名著，在那时探讨贫穷与品行的关系，在那时拷问社会的制度和公平，并让这些问题，隐藏在一个紧张好看的故事里呈现给我们。

I read a very interesting book, the name of the book is called "Tom Sawyer, I like the book in the little hero and some story happened on him.

Tom is a naughty, naive and lively children, but in the eyes of an adult who is also a real bad boy, he naughty, like mischief, play truant, the nature is the norm, not only in this way, he make trouble method also each time, let a person elusive, small-scale operations. 我读了一本非常有趣的书，书的名字叫《汤姆索亚历险记》，我很喜欢这本书中的小主人公以及在他身上发生的一些故事。

汤姆是一个顽皮、天真并且十分活泼的孩子，但在大人的眼里他同时也是一个不折不扣的坏孩子，他调皮、喜欢恶作剧、逃学这些自然是家常便饭，不仅这样，他捣蛋的方法还一次比一次厉害，让人琢磨不透，防不胜防。他虽然是一个很坏很坏的孩子，但也会做出让人捧腹大笑的事情：被罚粉刷墙壁，竟能想出好办法让小伙伴替他完成，并让小伙伴们拿各种各样的食物和玩具来跟他换一次刷墙的机会。这样一来，汤姆不光悠闲自在，而且一下子就收获了很多礼物。

让我印象比较深刻的是故事中汤姆与哈克再加上乔三人组成了一个团队逃到了荒岛上当海盗。在这次冒险中，他遇到了种种困难，但他并不灰心，也不放弃，一次又一次勇敢地向困难挑战，直到打倒困难为止。

读了这本书以后，我觉得遇到困难我们不要轻易气馁，而要努力奋斗，坚持下去。汤姆充满阳光的生活里也告诉我们：只要有欢乐，有梦想，美梦便可以成真!

雾都孤儿是英国作家查尔斯.狄更斯写的。那时的英国已成为了世界超级大国。在繁华之下，贫穷和不幸也越来越多。本书的主人公名叫奥利弗，他出生在一个济贫院，那时他的父母都已经去世了，只有他幸存了下来。到了奥利弗九岁的时候，他被收到棺材店当学徒，可是又被赶了出去。后来他在流浪中认识了一个朋友，导致他不小心被邪恶的费根抓走了，费根逼他当一名小偷，奥利弗想尽各种办法逃离。最后，他在一次行窃时被子弹打伤，幸好被一户好心的人家收养，帮助奥利弗继承了他父亲的遗产，从此奥利弗过上了幸福的生活。

查尔斯.狄更斯通过这个故事揭示了当时英国繁华之下的贫穷和不幸，同时奥利弗身上顽强的精神让人敬佩。

看完这本书，我很有收获，我认识到，不管遇到什么样的打击、挫折都要顽强，才能看到希望，才能走出困境。这对我来说很有意义，因为我前不久在打篮球的时候不小心摔了一跤，摔骨折了，现在脚上还打着石膏，虽然造成了很多不方便，可是我很顽强，每天坚持写作业、看书，我相信只要我坚持下去，就会很快好起来的。

小说是以伦敦为背景，以一个孤儿的遭遇为主线，描写了形形色色的人物和事件，真实地反映了伦敦、甚至当时整个英国社会生活的许多侧面。它不是单写了一个孤儿的辛酸经历，它更写了当时整个英国社会中所有的下层人民的困苦，同时也写了上层机构的腐朽和荒.唐。

值得指出的是作者写作时，正值《济贫法》在英国颁布不久，狄更斯此作在抗议社会不公，唤起舆论，进行改革，对处于水深火热的贫民得到社会救助起了积极的作用。

书中班布尔，身为教区干事，(后为救贫院院长)，却把他所担任的济贫工作，作为发财的工具，他在那可怜的孤儿身上，从仅够维持最低生活保证的救助款中，采取减少他们的饮食标准，对孤儿们进行打骂虐待，造成孤儿大量的死亡。其无法无天，已到了令人发指的地步。

小说的主人公奥立弗。特威斯特是出身在救贫院中的孤儿，他在救贫院的寄养所里被“养育”了九年，这九年吃的是猪狗食，又瘦又小的他侥幸活了下来，然后被送到一个承办丧事的棺材店里当学徒;他无法忍受这里的不公和虐待，于是历经艰难逃亡伦敦。奥立弗的苦难是教区干事班布尔一步一步对他施虐的结果，班布尔有不可推卸的责任。逃往伦敦后，奥立弗落入贼巢，开始了更为悲惨的生涯。一次偶然的机会他被一位老绅士(最后得知他正是奥立弗父亲年轻时的好友)救出，却又一次被绑架回贼巢之中。奥立弗的遭绑架和他的同父异母兄弟蒙克斯(原名爱德华。黎福德)有关，因为他们的父亲立下一份遗嘱，确定了奥立弗的继承权，但是要符合一个条件，他在到达法定年龄之前不能有不光彩的、下流的、卑怯的或是违法的行为玷辱他的姓氏。所以蒙克斯用钱买通贼集团头目，把他诱入堕落，以使奥立弗从法理上丧失继承权。而班布尔夫妇(其时一为救济院院长，一为救济院总管)也被蒙克斯收买，毁灭了关于奥立弗出生的有关物证：他母亲留下的小金匣和戒指。

班布尔夫妇身上散发着腐败的恶臭，他们根本不把奥立弗这样的孩子当人看待，对于可怜的救济费用，层层克扣，致使这些孩子营养不良，心灵受到极大的创伤，不少孩子成了腐败的牺牲品，如本书中的小狄克，一个死在救济院中的善良孤儿。这种腐败构成了社会一大祸害，加剧了社会的不公。使孤儿们的权利得不到有力的保证。对社会罪恶的形成，他们难逃其咎。也从一个侧面反映当时英国社会的道德沦丧，已经到了严重的地步，对于上层社会的这种丑行，唯一办法是对上层社会的权力进行制约和监督，防止他们滥用权力。 小说也对生活在社会底层，即使是那些以偷盗为生、寄居巢穴的人们也并不一味指责，而是指出了他们所产生的社会应负的责任。在他们身上仍然有可能产生人性的光辉，如南茜多次对奥立弗施以援手，对这个小弟弟暗加保护，并且以自己的死召唤出来惊天动地的社会正义力量。即使是作为首恶的教唆犯费根和杀人犯赛克斯这种罪孽之身，他们心灵麻木、堕落、冷酷，他们人性中那一点对光明的追求却在最严酷的现实中表现出来。费根在死囚室中待死与奥立弗见最后一面时，作者似乎用了象征的笔触，让一个纯真的少年如天使一般“导引”了那个罪孽深重然而又可悲可怜的的老朽罪犯。赛克斯杀了南茜出逃途中遇到一场冲天烈火，他在无所不在的恐惧和惶惑的折磨下忙着去扑火，要“逃避记忆，逃避自己”，作者对这两个人的安排耐人寻味。

在书中恶人的代表无一不落个悲惨的下场，善良的奥立弗经过一番周折，最后在一些好心人和老绅士的帮助下重新得救并夺回遗产;老绅士收奥立弗为养子并对他施以知识的恩泽。善良的奥立弗随着他禀赋的发展，一切迹象都表明他未有负老绅士的期待。而蒙克斯携了分得的一份财产去到新大陆的一个僻远之地，他在那里挥霍一空之后又重新走上了老路，后来犯了又一桩欺诈罪被长期监禁，最后在一次旧病复发时死在监狱之中。

班布尔先生和班布尔太太由于劣迹败露被革去职务后，每况愈下，陷入极其困窘的境地，最终被收容在他们自己曾一度在那里逞尽威风的救贫院中。

抗议社会不公，反腐败，特别是要求对社会制度的迫切改革乃是本书的主题。

The first time I read a book written by an Afghan atuhor named Khaled Hosseini ,it told a story between two boys.A rich boy Amir at the age of 12 and his servant Hasan were brotherly loved.Nevertheless,afer a kite game,something miserable happened.Amir feel grievous and guilty for his cowardice and he cannot confront Hansan,using something contempitable to let Hansan and his father leave his home.Not long,Afghanistan broke ou a war,Amir and his father had to fled to America.After his grown- up,he cannot forgave what he had done to Hansan before.And to atone for himself,he returned his hometown,which was destoryed badly by the war……

Maybe all of us more or less had done something as Amir did before,we are too young to understand others feelings when we broke their heart into pieces.We may feel guilty and miserable for waht we have done.But there is no use to cry over spilt milk.What we really should do is to face the reality and like Amir,to atone for ourselves.

"The ugly duckling" the feeling after reading

Mother duck to hatch a very strange eggs, this only "duck" monstrous not only, and looks ugly. Therefore, everybody laughs at it, discrimination against it. The surrounding the animals dont like it, so the mother duck and began to hate it. But the little ugly duck then alone run out and experienced many difficulties, heavy tribulation, the ugly duckling finally become the most beautiful white swan!!!!!

When the little ugly duck into the white swan, by everybodys praise, it said: "when I was an ugly duckling, I never dreamed of so much happiness!" When people see the beautiful white swan, always admire the beauty of it. But when it was the ugly duckling, who put it in the eye?

鸭妈妈孵出了一只十分奇怪的蛋，这只“小鸭子”不仅大得吓人，而且长相丑陋。因此，大家都嘲笑它，歧视它。周围的动物们都不喜欢它，于是鸭妈妈便也开始讨厌它。无奈的丑小鸭便独自跑了出去，经历了重重困难、重重磨难之后，丑小鸭最终变成了最美的白天鹅!

With the broadcast of smog,this long-standing environmental problems,become the hot discussion once again.According to some reports,the frequent appearances of smog obscure the clarity of the sky recently.Some people drove slowly on the road because they could not see clearly. They also suffered from many illnesses caused by smog.

Smog is the general expression of various higher-than-permitted suspended particulate matter (such as PM2.5) in the atmosphere,which express the state of air pollution .It contains fog and haze,both of them are disastrous weather. Fog consists of a large number of tiny water or ice crystals.It’s actually a harmless natural phenomena that makes visibility worse .Haze is air pollution in which is mixed up with dust, smoke and other dry particles. The components that make up haze may have negative effect on peoples health, especially for children and the old.

So it’s necessary to find out the reason why leads to smog and work out the resolution.If we trace the cause for smog weather ,the main points are natural causes that include windblown dust and manmade causes which include three aspects.Firstly,china s air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited.Secondly,some enterprises just go for economic interests instead of observing relevant law and regulations.Obsolete equipment、industrial fuel burning and manufacturing operations are high likely to emit much wasted air.Thirdly,across our society ,relevant protection awareness has not built up.Just for the sake of convience to go out,people rely more and more on travelling and working by car while car is the main cause for smog.

To settle this problem,a series of meaures should be taken as follows.Primarily,we should establish a sound control system of smog. Not only can environmental protection departments strengthen air monitor,but government should enact more strict laws and regulations.Moreover,Reduce pollution sources is the fundamental solution to cut air pollutants. For example,we can reduce the amount of fuel vehicles or close down high polluting enterprises.Developing green and energy-saving energy can lower the emission of smog.Last but not least, People should do personal protection.They need to reduce the time for outdoor sports and pay attention to rest in smog days.Everyone all over the country should take measures to reduce the smog weather. We can use more public transport such as the bus and the underground so that the number of cars will be limited.Also,people should plant more trees. As far as I’m concerned ,if we work together to do such measures ,smog weather will vanish completely and we will get clear and blue sky.

这本书以伦敦为背景，讲述了孤儿奥立弗悲惨的身世以及遭遇。他出生在济贫院，他的母亲在生下他后便去世了，后来他就一直生活在如同地狱一般的济贫院，被人们当作物品一样被送来送去，受尽折磨，从未得到过母爱和家庭的温暖。在他九岁时，便被人送进棺材店，因为不堪忍受非人的待遇，艰苦逃难，却又不幸误入贼窝被迫与狠毒的费根一伙，历经无数艰苦和心酸，最后在，好心人的帮助下转危为安，过上了幸福的生活。

读完这本书，我的心情久久不能平静，抬头看着灯光下水杯的阴影，我明白有光就有影子。奥利弗的勇敢，布朗娄先生，梅里太太，露丝小姐的善良与邪恶的盗贼们形成了鲜明的对比，就像灯光下的物体一样，它们有虚有实虚，影子是虚的，体现的是正义，而影子却是恶，但是，邪恶终究战胜不了正义。就像钢琴上有52个白键，有36个黑键，而白键永远比黑键多，正所谓邪不压正。无论何时何地，善人总比恶人多。勇敢善良的奥立弗虽出于淤泥，却丝毫不染。而我们也没有见过他失败。因为他早已看透了这个邪恶的世界，他明白，只有去拼搏，去奋斗，才会让自己活得更好。而我们也不是应该明白这个道理吗?无论做什么事情都要去努力，都要去拼搏才能成功，不会失败。所以让我们行动起来吧，去努力去拼搏，让自己的明天更加的辉煌。

有一天，我从书架上发现了一本狄更斯的《雾都孤儿》，便抽出来看，一下子就吸引了我。

故事讲述的是一个名叫奥力弗.退斯特的弃婴在孤儿院里被悲惨地教育了9年，然后又被送到棺材老板那儿当学徒。由于难以忍受的饥饿和暴力以及侮辱，他逃亡伦敦。又不幸误入贼窝，期间被一位善良的的老绅士班布尔先生收留。但又被那一伙贼绑回贼窝。最后善良的女扒手南希为了营救奥利佛，不顾贼头的监视和威胁，向班布尔报信，说奥利佛就是他找寻已久的外孙儿。南希被贼窝头目杀害，警察随即围剿了贼窝。奥利佛终于得以与亲人团聚。

这本书给我的第一个感触就是：看着这本书，好几次泪水打湿了我的眼睛。不仅是为了小奥力弗.退斯特的悲惨遭遇，更是为他的善良，南希和其他小扒手的无奈，甚至是老犹太费根。书中每一个人都有这鲜明的性格。奥力弗.退斯特虽是书中的主人公，但我觉得奥力弗不是他一个人，而是孤儿院里的所有孤儿甚至是所有的在苦难中的孩子，也许他们最后都没有奥力弗的幸运，但奥力弗的幸运也只是作者对于生活的美好希望，在当时年代更多的人只能是拥有奥力弗的朋友狄克的悲惨结局。“这个孩子面色苍白，瘦骨如柴，面颊凹了进去，眼睛显得又亮又大。拼命省料的教区施衣——他的贫儿号衣——在他弱不禁风的身上仍显得宽松肥大;他幼嫩的身体却像老人一般干枯了”这就是狄克的真实形象，可以说是所有贫儿的形象，迎接他们的只有死亡。看到这，我哭了，眼泪并不能起到什么作用，但至少代表着触及灵魂的感触。

这本书给我的第二个很深的感触就是主人公小奥力弗的勇敢的精神，虽然在黑暗的习艺所里饱尝了生活的艰辛，但是并没有给这么一个美好的心灵蒙上灰尘。由于饥饿他向干事提出需要一碗稀粥时，被那些干事认为“这2孩子将来一定会被绞死。在当学徒的时候他面对人们对于他母亲的羞辱，奋起反抗。他啊也许是由于初生牛犊不怕虎，竭尽全力反抗着。后来逃亡到伦敦后，纯洁的心灵让人们感到可笑。其中有一段话让我记忆尤深“那些都是老先生的，在我还热病快死掉的时候，是那位好心的先生把我带到他家里去，照看我养好了病。哦，求求你们把这些都送回去吧，把书和钱还给他。你们要我一辈子待在这儿都可以，我只求你们把这些东西送回去，不然他们应定会以为我逃跑了的，你们可怜可怜我，把书和钱送回去吧”这是小奥力弗被抓后说的话。我不禁被他维护尊严的行为所打动。一个人活着就要有尊严。

这本书给我第三个很深印象的就是作者的写作手法 个性化的语言是狄更斯在人物塑造上运用得十分出色的一种手段.书中的流氓,盗贼,妓女的语言都切合其身份,另外狄更斯的语言中充满了讥讽的韵味。仿佛一个人的表情中带着辛酸的笑，让人读完之后不禁无奈的一声叹息。在书中狄更斯成功地刻画了一连串人物，如教区干事班布尔，贼头儿犹太老头和慈善学校的学生诺亚，破屋大盗蒙克斯等等。没有一个不刻画得栩栩如生，形象逼真。但是，作品中最成功刻画的人物还是主角奥立佛以及女偷南茜。奥立佛天生就是一个有道德的人，懂得知恩图报。他吃了很多很多苦，但最后总算遇到好人。不管是布朗鲁先生，还是梅里太太，或是梅里小姐，对待奥里佛都如同亲人一般，尽管他是个“贼”，他们都同情他，收养他，并使他接受良好的教育，最后还弄清了他的身世，争回他的遗产。在描写奥立佛所有的事件中，我最钦佩的还是第六章节中讲他受嘲讽时奋力抵抗这一事件，如同作者所说的那样“从表面上看我所记述的是那么微小又不重要，可是事实上他对奥立佛的前途及发展却间接地影响，并产生了重大的变化。”奥立佛虽说在贫民院中长大，本身就没有自由，受人使唤，但他还是一个自尊心极强的人，面对诺亚的人身攻击，他显得异常激动。而因为诺亚对奥立佛死去的母亲的恶毒侮辱使他义愤填膺，热血沸腾。“他立刻跳了起来，一把掀翻了桌椅，然后揪住诺亚的喉管，用尽全身暴怒中的力气抖动着诺亚，一直抖得诺亚的牙齿发出格格的响声，然后又聚集了他全身的力气给诺亚狠狠一拳，直把他打翻在地。”奥立佛激烈的反应令我迷惑，按常理来说，他一直是个文静的，温和的，虽受到非人虐待却是个垂头丧气自甘倒霉的少年，此刻却凝聚全身的力量揍诺亚。是什么力量使他敢于做出这样的决定，或许不应该是“决定”吧，强烈的愤怒感使他失去了理智，他不允许别人对他的母亲有丝毫的侮辱。虽然奥立佛对他的母亲毫无印象，记忆中从来就不知道母亲长什么样子。然而，对母亲的尊重感却一直伴随着他。所以，当诺亚侮辱他的母亲时，奥立佛显现出从没有过的激动。这一事件的结果是奥立佛受到了毒打并被关押起来。狄更斯在写这一细节时不仅是为下文埋下伏笔，还更深刻地刻画了作品的主人公奥立佛的形象，为维护母亲的尊严而不顾一切 在书中并不起眼，但是不能没有的人就是女扒手南希，她的形象是世上母亲的形象，看到可怜的而有善良的小奥力弗，她不顾背叛他所爱的人塞克斯，也不顾自己冒着被抓，被处以绞刑的危险，为小奥力弗逃出悲惨的生活，最后掺死于塞克斯的拳头之下。没有太多对于南希的描写，但是她的内心世界读者能略微感受得出来：无助，愤怒，矛盾。她与习艺所的曼太太形成了鲜明的对比。可憎的曼太太贪婪地剥削着那些可怜的小生命，却从来不为自己的行为感到可耻，也许我们也不能太多地责怪于曼太太，生活的残酷造就了人们的残酷。只是在一些勇敢的人心中残存的那一点善良给予了我们那么一点感叹，但是最后的命运仍逃脱不了悲惨的死去。奥立佛和南茜是这部作品中两个最具有代表性的人物，这是不可否认的。狄更斯在刻画这两个人物时也用了绝妙的手法。然而，在这里我想谈的是另一个形象人物蒙克斯。蒙克斯是奥立佛同父异母的兄弟，但此人却残忍无比，为得到弟弟的财产而不惜毁掉自己的弟弟。我觉得狄更斯在描写蒙克斯的行为时用了巧妙的安排。而蒙克斯这一角色正反映了当时社会上一些贵族子弟的放浪的行为。蒙克斯是聪明人，他知道怎样才能安心地获得弟弟的财产。狄更斯在刻画蒙克斯这一人物形象上可谓是步步为营。首先，蒙克斯是在找班布尔先生时才出现的，作者在前文中并未提到他，以致于我在读到班布尔先生与陌生客人见面这一情节时，直觉就告诉我这一作品的情节将达到另一高潮。神秘人现身，定是有好戏，但我没有想到这个所谓的神秘人竟会是奥立佛的哥哥，而且没想到在后文中他竟扮演了如此重要的角色。狄更斯赋予了蒙克斯“聪明”的头脑，设置了一个无衣无缝的计划，而蒙克斯在施行这一计划时也不吝于跟盗贼首领犹太老头合作，可谓是为达目的不择手段。最后他们的计划还是败露，蒙克斯也是惨败收场。我想，狄更斯把奥立佛的哥哥写成一个贪婪、残暴、无耻的人，一方面能使作品的剧情达到高潮，另一方面也充分展示了现实社火中为达目的而不顾亲情的悲惨现象。作者用这种犀利的笔锋讽刺当时的社火，同时又希望能唤醒那些可悲的人们，唤醒他们的良心与觉悟，唤醒所有人民的觉悟。

读完这部小说，我心里久久不能平静。奥立佛是个坚强、善良、聪慧和勇敢的天真男孩，却经历了坎坷的人生，最终雨过天晴，迎来了幸福的生活。而我们现在是生活在蜜罐里，在福窝中，却经常抱怨，总是不满足。但我们可曾想过，世界上还有许许多多贫困的孩子，正面对着失去亲人，漂泊流浪的生活，或许是面对辍学的困境和挨饿的局面。他们充满着对生活的热爱，憧憬着明亮的教室，向往着可口的食物或者是保暖的衣服。面对这些渴望生活的贫困的孩子，我们能视而不见吗?能袖手旁观吗?当我读到狄更斯笔下的贫民院孤儿的生活时，我的头脑中总会闪现出在电视上看到的非洲难民的画面。旧社会贫民的生活是贫困的，挨饿受冻是很平常的事情，而在21世纪里，在这个文明的时代，饥饿、恐惧、挨冻依然存在。在看到奥立佛被虐待，被殴打的情节里，我又不时地联想到了常常在大街上看到的那些卖艺和乞讨的孩子。听说这些衣衫褴褛的孩子们也是误入了一个黑帮组织，不管是卖艺得到的钱还是乞讨而得到的钱，硬或是偷来的钱，也要上交他们的“头儿”。这就是文明的社会吗?那些孩子的命运，他们的生活，和狄更斯笔下的孤儿奥立佛的生活又有什么区别呢?奥立佛是幸运的，能够遇到善良的人。而在现实社会中那些误入不明组织的孩子们，他们的命运会怎样，能够遇到好心人吗?我想不会的，他们的结局或许是像这部作品中的南茜那样，或者是饿死、病死。这也是这个所谓的文明社会的必然结果。社会越是进步，人类越是文明，那些不良分子也就越猖狂，而不幸误入他们手中的孩子们命运就越悲惨。所以，我们更需要用爱心去帮助那些在困境中的人们，帮助他们摆脱困境，迎来幸福的生活。

这部作品让我联想到许多现实生活中的情景，对我触动很大。现在，我倒要回过头来看看狄更斯的艺术魅力和写作才能。狄更斯是维多利亚时代批判现实主义的代表人物，在写这部作品时他还是个青年，这时的他希望运用他的小说改革社会，但他对社会的了解还不够深刻，对当时的统治阶级还寄托着美好的希望。在这部作品中也充分体现了他的这种思想。通常情况下，在优秀的现实主义小说中，故事情节往往是在特定环境作用下的人物性格发展史，即高尔基所说的“某种性格典型的成长和构成的历史”。然而，狄更斯不同，他不拘任何格套，想要多少巧合就安排多少巧合。如奥立佛第一次跟小偷上街被掏兜的就是他亡父生前的好友布朗鲁先生;他在盗贼第二首领赛克斯的劫持下入室行窃被偷的恰巧是他的亲姨妈露丝·梅里家;还有，他去送信时因匆忙而撞到的人竟然就是他的哥哥蒙克斯，并在这一相撞中就让蒙克斯感到他就是自己要寻找的弟弟。这一连串的巧合在情理上无论如何是说不过去的，然而，狄更斯自有丰富的想象和巧妙的构思，在具体的情节描写中充满着生活气息和激情，使读者在阅读时紧张得喘不过气来，对这种本来是牵强的，不自然的情节也不得不信以为真，而且对此产生莫大的兴趣，迫不及待地往下阅读。这就是狄更斯的艺术世界魅力。此外，从政治角度来讲，这部作品提出了孤儿的社会地位这个非常现实的问题，以及和这个问题直接相关的官员的素质问题，社会上一些违法组织问题以及在各阶层的人们的心理倾向和精神疾病长问题。狄更斯虽然提出了这些问题，但他所想到的解决这些问题的方式是不现实的。这也是因为青年时期的他对社会还没有深刻的了解。而随着他的社会阅历的丰富，对社会的了解也更深，他的思想也慢慢地成熟，这在他以后地作品中就能体现出来。狄更斯运用他广阔深刻的语言给予读者的有时是开怀大笑，有时是会意的微笑，有时却是流泪的痛苦的笑或是无奈的麻木的笑。然而，无论是哪一种笑，都给予了资本主义社会的无尽的讽刺。

我用急不可待的心情读完了这部作品，吸引我的不仅是作品中设置的层层悬念，还有狄更斯绝伦的艺术魅力，而我收获的是无尽的感慨。

This book is simply wonderful. The tales involved are tales of the Persian Gulf, of Bagdhad, Arabia, and tales that we as adults should revisit for some enjoyable light reading that will make us smile and wonder at the old folklore of the Arabian Peninsula.

Sinbad the Sailor is in there, as is Aladdin in its original form, and the story begins of a king who is so upset by his wifes unfaithfulness that he will now only accept virgins for one night and then have them killed. A smart virgin begins her night with the infamous king by telling him stories, and she so fascinates him and enthralls him with her tales that the tales turn into folklore for readers of the ages. I wont tell you what happens in the end to the virgin princess, but you will find humor, enchantment, wisdom and fantasy for those times when stress becomes a factor in your life.

I highly recommend the tale of "The Historic Fart" as a both funny and inspiring tale of human nature. Please buy this book and remember to become a nine -12 year old again as you read with curiosity and wonder at the fabulous enchanting, lively stories. I was beginning to wish my children were a bit younger so I could read these to them. Any child would enjoy these stories, and any adult will find them simply relaxing and a reflection of medieval Islam.
