How I Spent My Summer Vacation

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way.

The summer holiday begins. I am very happy. Last week, I traveled to Zhuhai. Its a small but beautiful city. The streets are clean and the buildings are huge. The traffic of Zhuhai is good. There is almost no traffic jams here,because the transportation system is good. Macau is on the opposite of Zhuhai. We can even see the cars running in the streets of Macau. I hope I can step into Macau to visti this magical city.

1:锻炼身体，健康成长

每天早上6:30起床，跑步、跳绳、踢毽子。

下午户外活动一小时，或与小伙伴做游戏。

周末由父母陪同到郊外游玩或爬山。

以此使自己的身体更加健康。

2:认真读书，汲取更多的知识，丰富自己的写作内涵。

上午8:00--9:00读书一小时，边读边写读书笔记，并摘抄好词好句，养成记笔记的好习惯。

3:认真学习，使自己更上一层楼

上午10:00--11:00与下午2:00--3:00复习以前学过的知识，并按时完成老师布置的作业。

写一张钢笔字，提高自己钢笔字的水平。

4:丰富自己的内涵，练习特长

每天下午4:00--6:00学习毛笔字活画画，使自己更加完善。

5:写日记，养成好习惯

准备一个日记本，每天晚上8:00--8:40写一篇日记，把当天的所见所闻所思记录下来。

6:做家务，我是小大人

每天帮妈妈做力所能及的家务，分担妈妈的辛苦，使自己成为真正的小主人。

7:有节制的玩电脑游戏或看电视

每天玩游戏看电视时间一个小时，使自己在学习之余能有所放松。

8:参加实践活动，在实践中锻炼自己

姥姥家在古商城，我打算参观古商城，了解我们当地的风土人情，增强热爱家乡的感情。

四、认真遵守假期活动方案

友好的接受父母的监督，认真遵守方案的各项计划，学会自我约束。

通过以上的这些活动，我一定会度过一个有意义的暑假。

Summer can be very hot in southernxx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. 如何才能制定一个好的暑假学习计划呢?我认为应注意以下几个问题。

第一、目标要明确、适当。因为每位同学的基础各异，接受新知识的能力不同，所以选择目标一定要切合自己的学习实际，要正确估计自己的知识和能力、估计能够自己支配的时间，了解自己学习上的缺欠和漏洞。目标既不能定得过高，也不能过低，“跳一跳就能摘到果子”，便是最佳目标。

第二、要合理安排常规学习时间和自由学习时间。常规学习时间主要是用来完成老师当天布置的学习任务，消化当天所学的新知识。自由学习时间是指完成老师布置的学习任务后归自己支配的时间，这一时间可用来预习、复习功课，查缺补漏和进行课外阅读、训练等。

第三、计划要全面，要符合素质教育的基本要求。中学生不能成天只讲读书，智育只是人追求全面发展的一个方面，除此，还有德、体、美、劳等。因此，在制定计划时还要安排锻炼身体的时间、娱乐的时间以及充足的睡眠时间等。

第四、要做到“长计划，短安排”。在一段较长时间内应当有个大致安排，每星期、每天干什么，也应有个具体计划，长远计划可以使具体计划有明确的实现目标;短安排，则可以使长计划的任务逐步落实。

第五、计划要留有余地，不要定得太死，太满，太紧，要留出机动时间，可作必要的补充和安排。

By June the students have usually solved the problem and begin to make preparations for leaving their books to enter the business world.

Reasons for wanting a summer job are different from student to student. Some work to help pay their school expenses; others work to gain experience in their chosen professions; still others work just for the fun of it.

Typist, construction worker, salesman, lifeguard, and waiter these are some of the more common jobs that students try to find during the summer months. But many young people find work that is a little more unusual.

一、制定暑期生活计划表

首先就是要把我们暑假刚开始的各种暑期安排的想法落实到纸面上，自己制定一个暑期生活安排计划表。这样，就能把我们头脑中一闪而过的好想法记录下来，而且也利于我们对暑假活动安排的条理性和次序性。

二、安排好暑期学习活动

暑假期间，学校会要求我们完成暑期作业，有的学校是要求按章节复习课本知识，有的学校是要求预习新教材，这是我们暑假里必须要完成的，我们要在活动计划时首先考虑进去，比如我们可以每天用两个小时完成学校要求的学习内容，保证完成这些学习活动所需的时间。有的学生把学校留的作业用一个星期不分白天黑夜的做完，期盼着暑假剩下的时间可以没有任何心理负担地疯玩。这是一种不科学的安排。

暑假期间，确定学习目标，攻克薄弱环节：学习目标不宜太大、复习范围不宜太广。如果想真正有收获，一定不要贪多哟!适宜重点攻克薄弱学科、或某学科中的重点内容。

三、做一些想做的事情

每个同学都有一些自己的个人爱好和兴趣，也有很多同学想利用暑假时间学习一些新技能，比如学绘画、学游泳、学舞蹈等。暑假应该是轻松愉快的，我们可以把平时学习的时候没有时间和精力来做的事情放到暑假里做，完成自己心中的愿望。

四、睡眠、运动和饮食

暑假期间，因为是自己自由在家，没有学校作息时间的约束，容易出现自己在家吃喝无度、睡眠过多、行为散漫的现象，所以暑假期间更要注意自己的健康生活习惯的养成。

五、旅游外出

由于是旅游，我们一般可以看到平时看不到的自然风貌，可以了解到中国甚至世界各国的文明和文化，了解到各地的风土民俗。在旅游的过程中，我们要细心观察，亲身感受，把所看到、所体验的到的事物与所学的地理、历史、生物等知识联系起来，从感性上去加强理解和记忆这些知识。旅游回来后，也可以写写此行的感受，这同样可以锻炼自己的写作能力。

六、分担家务劳动

假期里父母仍然要上班，我们可以主动为父母分担一些家务，这不但能减轻父母的劳累，而且对于锻炼自我的劳动能力、自理能力都有好处，所以建议同学在暑假期间能多帮助父母分担一些家务劳动。

七、保持和同学交流

暑假里，我们不要忘记我们的好朋友和同学们。大家可以通过网络、电话多加强沟通，当然如果方便，有些暑假活动我们可以和同学、朋友一起完成。和同学、朋友在一起总是很愉快的，所以我们暑假快乐的一个源泉是来自我们和他人的交流和共同活动。

The Great Wall is one of the greatest wonders of the world.It attracts thousands of tourists both at home and abroad every day.It runs across the mountains,like a dragon.

When we got there we were very excited that we began toclimbimmediately.The steps sometimes were very flat,but sometimes very steep.After two hours of climbing,we got to the top at last.I enjoyed the beauty of the mountains andtook a lot of photos.I felt really proud and thought of the famous saying:He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man.
