直到那个晚上的到来，给我带来了许多的快乐和乐趣。为了今年的“年夜大餐”，母亲和奶奶在除夕的前两天就开始“动工”了。因为母亲眼中的年夜饭是团圆饭，预示着新一年的开始，一切都要十全十美，不能有半点马虎。每到这时候，我便会言语谨慎，生怕不经意间说出什么不中听的或是不吉利的话，招来母亲的责骂。对我家而言，这一年一度的年夜饭已经不只是一顿简单的晚餐，更是全家都要参与的仪式。所以在物质生活极大丰富的这天，我们仍然保留了在家中吃年夜饭的习惯。

我家的年夜饭讲究分工合作，各司其责。母亲是总设计师，负责人员调度。父亲帮母亲打小工，负责买配菜，买调料，拿油盐酱醋、锅碗瓢盆；奶奶是总设计师的得力助手；爷爷则是烹饪几个他的拿手菜；我嘛，就负责“偷吃”，在有菜做好了后，我总以尝尝菜的咸淡，来偷吃做好的菜。

晚上七点整，我们的午夜大餐正式开始，一盘盘色香味俱全、香喷喷的饭菜端上桌来，我看得眼花缭乱。开饭喽！我狼吞虎咽的把这美味佳肴往嘴里塞。妈妈把果汁和红酒拿出来，倒在高脚杯里。我端起酒杯祝愿爸爸和妈妈———身体健康，笑口常开，工作顺利；祝愿爷爷奶奶——福如东海，寿比南山。

我家不仅仅年夜大餐丰盛，家庭也那么幸，我既为有一个会做美食的的妈妈感到骄傲，也为有一个美满的家庭。

Almost everyone wants to live a long life, but longevity is not for all

people. It is reported that most long life people are in villages, far away from

big cities. In village, life is closer to nature. The sky there is clear and

pretty; the air is fresh; the water is clean; and the food they eat are natural,

without any chemicals. Besides, those villages are abundant in green trees,

beautiful flowers, fresh fruit, and wild animals, which can evoke peoples

passions for life. Moreover, the living pace in those villages is rather slow.

People suffer less stress than cities’. Thus, they have more freedom to enjoy

what they like. No wonder that most villagers are strong and healthy. If I

become old someday, I would like to move to village to enjoy a more comfortable

and pleasant life.

今天是农历八月十五，是中国的传统节日—中秋节，也是新中国成立71周年的国庆日。中秋节又称仲秋节、八月节、玩月节、拜月节等，此时恰逢仲秋之中，时值三秋之半，空气清爽、玉露生凉，是一个充满了浪漫和诗意的传统文化节日。

中秋节源自天象崇拜，由上古时代秋夕祭月演变而来。根据史籍记载，“中秋”一词最早出现在《周礼》一书中。中秋节起源于上古时代，普及于汉代，定型于唐初，盛行于北宋，明清时已成为与元旦齐名的节日。中秋节有着悠久的历史和丰富的传说，融合了许多民间的古老习俗，它以月之圆满预兆人之团圆，寄托心中思念，祈盼幸福团聚，是我国弥足珍贵的文化遗产。受中华文化的影响，越南、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚、新加坡等东亚和东南亚国家也有过中秋节的传统。

关于中秋的由来，有好几种说法。一说起源于古代帝王祭祀活动。《礼记》上记载：“天子春朝日，秋夕月”，这里的夕月就是祭奠月亮;二说起源于农业生产。“庄稼成熟曰秋”，八月中秋，各种农作物和果品都到了成熟的时候，此时恰好是三秋之中，农民为庆贺丰收，表达喜悦，就以“中秋”这天作为节日;三说起源于神话传说。“嫦娥应悔偷灵药，碧海青天夜夜心”，中秋节的来源与民间广为流传的“嫦娥奔月”的故事有着密不可分的关系。传说很久以前，一个叫嫦娥的女子，无意中吃了丈夫让她保管的不死药，于是飞奔向月，成为了月神。从此夫妻二人相隔千里，彼此牵挂，每到月圆之夜，便对月思念。嫦娥奔月的神话，给中秋节定下思念的基调，千百年来，这轮圆月承载了无数中国人对团圆和睦最美的定义和最深的情感。

中秋节作为我国的传统佳节，它的习俗大都与月亮有着深厚的渊源，赏月、拜月、吃月饼等习俗均源于此。我们的祖先自古就有春祭日、秋祭月的传统，赏月的风俗来源于祭月，之后便逐渐由庄重严肃的祭祀变成了一桩轻松浪漫的雅事。中秋赏月的风俗在唐朝长安一带极为盛行，到北宋时期，已成为普遍的民俗节日。月到中秋分外明。中秋时节，天高气爽，月朗中天，正是观赏月亮的最佳时节。古往今来，许多文人墨客都在中秋佳节留下了不朽的诗篇。“海上生明月，天涯共此时”，这是张九龄望月时的感怀;“露从今夜白，月是故乡明”，这是杜甫思乡时的惆怅;“今夜月明人尽望，不知秋思落谁家”，这是王建对月时的寂寥;“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟”，这是苏轼中秋时最美好的祝愿。这一首首佳作名篇，描绘着人世间的聚散离合，也倾诉着千百年来人们对幸福团圆的不变期盼。

吃月饼是中秋节的另一个重要习俗。月饼最初是古代中秋祭拜月神的贡品，后来人们逐渐把月饼作为中秋节的必食佳品。月饼与饺子、汤圆、粽子并称为中华民族四大民俗食品。月饼的制作从唐代以后越来越考究。苏东坡有诗云：“小饼如嚼月，中有酥和饴”。月饼象征着甜蜜和团圆。当皎洁的明月，映照着手心的圆饼，就仿佛将最深切的思念与最美好的团圆一起收藏于心中。除赏月与吃月饼外，中秋佳节还有赏桂花、猜灯谜、饮桂花酒等民间习俗。在苏浙一带，观潮亦是中秋的一大盛事。

举国同庆日，中秋佳节时。今年中秋恰逢国庆，也使得这个节日格外不同寻常。从远古走来的中秋，带着月光的皎洁，送来月饼的香甜，它与国庆深情相拥，让小家与大国在今日团圆。花好月圆之夜，与家人围坐在一起，共赏明月，同吃月饼，看月桂婆娑，听风露点点，令人不禁感叹月下的时光如此温柔绵绵。也许唯有团圆，才是最好的中秋吧。在这个丹桂飘香的季节里，在这个万家团圆的节日里，我衷心祝愿亲爱的祖国繁荣富强，挚爱的家人幸福健康。期盼每一年都有皎洁的月色，祈愿每一载都有美满的团圆。

August 15th in ChineSe Lunar Calendar is the Mid-Autumn Day. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.

On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion. Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.

The moon is the brightest this night. People ate the delicious food while they were enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about thO rabbit. The children really believed that there was a rabbit on the moon. They wanted to go to the moon and have a look one day.

What a great festival!

农历八月十五日是中秋节，在中国它是最重要的传统节日之一。

在那一天，人们通常回家与家人团聚，一家人聚在一起饱餐一顿。最流行的食品是月饼，它们圆圆的就像月亮。

中秋节晚上的月亮特别地圆。人们都在自家的院子里一边赏月一边吃着可口的月饼。这个时候;一些老人会讲述许多古老的故事，如月亮上的玉兔，孩子们信以为真，他们真想有一天登上月球看个究竟。

中秋是个美好的节日啊!

mooncakes are to mid-autumn festival what mince pies are to christmas. the seasonal round cakes traditionally have a sweet filling of lotus seed paste or red bean paste and often have one or more salted duck eggs in the center to represent the moon. and the moon is what this celebration is all about. mid-autumn festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th month，it is the time when the moon is said to be at its brightest and fullest.

there are two legends which claim to explain the tradition of eating mooncakes. one tang dynasty myth holds that the earth once had 10 suns circling it. one day all 10 suns appeared at once，scorching the planet with their heat. it was thanks to a skillful archer named hou yi that the earth was saved. he shot down all but one of the suns. as his reward，the heavenly queen mother gave hou yi the elixir of immortality，but she warned him that he must use it wisely. hou yi ignored her advice and，corrupted by fame and fortune，became a tyrannical leader. chang-er，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. and thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the moon fairy.

the second legend has it that during the yuan dynasty，an underground group led by zhu yuan zang was determined to rid the country of mongolian dominance. the moon cake was created to carry a secret message. when the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the mongolians. it happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. mooncakes are usually stamped with chinese characters indicating the name of the **ry and the type of filling used. some **ries will even stamp them with your family name so that you can give personalised ones to friends and family. they are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. traditional mooncakes are made with melted lard，but today vegetable oil is more often used in the interests of health. mooncakes are not for the diet-conscious as they are loaded with calories. the best way to wash down one of these sticky cakes is with a cup of chinese tea，especially jasmine or chrysanthemum tea，which aids the digestion.

中秋节吃月饼就像西方人圣诞节吃百果馅饼一样，是必不可少的。圆圆的月饼中通常包有香甜的莲子馅或是红豆馅，馅的中央还会加上一个金黄的咸鸭蛋黄来代表月亮。而月亮正是中秋节庆祝的主题。每年农历8月15日人们一起庆祝中秋，据说这一天的月亮是一年中最亮最圆的。

关于吃月饼这个传统的来历有两个传说。一个是唐朝的神话故事，说的是当时地球被10个太阳包围着。有一天10个太阳同时出现在天空中，巨大的热量几乎把地球烤焦了。多亏一位名叫后羿的神箭手射下了9个太阳，地球才被保祝为了奖励后羿，王母娘娘赐给后羿一种长生不老药，但是王母警告他必须正当使用。然而后羿没有理会王母娘娘的警告，他被名利冲昏了头脑，变成了一个暴君。后羿美丽的妻子嫦娥对他的暴行再也不能袖手旁观，于是她偷走了后羿的长生不老药，飞到月亮上逃避后羿的狂怒。从此就有了关于月宫仙子嫦娥，这个月亮上的美丽女人的传说。

第二个传说讲的是在元朝，朱元璋领导的起义军计划起义来摆脱蒙古族的统治。他们用月饼来传递密信。掰开月饼就可以找到里面的密信，起义军通过这种方式成功的发动了起义，赶走了元朝的统治者。这场起义发生在八月十五之时，于是中秋节吃月饼的习俗便在民间传开来。
