妈妈在旁边看着我，替我擦掉脸上的汗，小声说：“你看很多爷爷奶奶们都在努力登到顶，我们可不能就这样放弃啊，“不到长城非好汉”，我们一定要登到好汉坡哦，加油!”我看看周围的人，大家都在努力的攀登着，有的人甚至双手双脚并用艰难地行走着，谁说我不如别人，我一定要登上好汉坡，当好汉!我拉着妈妈，继续向上。

越登高风越大，景色却也越来越让人叹服。回头看看，刚才长城脚下的汽车已经变成了小蚂蚁，上来的路也已经变成了一条盘旋的龙，仿佛被这秀丽的景色迷住了不肯飞走呢。1个小时后，我和妈妈终于登上了“好汉坡”，站在好汉坡上，我觉得自己成了一名小小男子汉了。

趴在城墙上，吹着风，看着下面努力攀登的游客，我不禁感叹着古人的伟大，长城不愧是世界八大奇迹之一，不愧是中华民族的骄傲!

第一次接触长城，是我上小学的时候。照片上长城的雄姿和老师绘声绘色的讲说在我的脑海中打上了深深的烙印，以后慢慢对长城的知识有了更多的了解，“孟姜女哭倒万里长城”，凄婉动人的故事，使我对长城更加加神往了。

如今这个愿望就要实现了。7月20日，按照夏令营活动日程的安排，我们要去登居庸关长城。早上7点钟，我们怀着激动的心情，兴高采烈的登上了去居庸关的汽车。

居庸关，是京北长城沿线上的著名古关城，国家级文物保护单位，位于昌平县城以北20公里的峡谷中，距北京60公里，地形险要，是长城重要的关隘。据史料记载，早在春秋战国时期，燕国便于此设防，当时已称“居庸塞”。南北朝时终于与长城连接为一体，以后数朝连设关卡于此。现存的居庸关长城始建于明洪武元年(1368年)，清末以后逐渐荒废。1992年，昌平县十三陵特区办事处对关城建筑进行了全面修复，再现了当日的雄姿。

汽车行驶了一个多小时，我们便置身于连绵起伏的群山之中，通过玻璃窗向远眺望，眼前的景色令我心旷神怡，雄伟的长城如同一条正欲腾飞的巨龙，蜿蜒起伏在崇山峻岭之中，真有“城随山势转，关并云齐”之势。

下了车，我们随着人流开始攀登居庸关长城。薄云笼罩的天空为我们解除了难耐的酷暑。长城的石阶又高又陡，再加上湿滑，必需小心翼翼的攀爬，不一会儿我就气喘吁吁了，但我还是坚持爬上了第一座烽火台。站在烽火台上，居庸关景色尽收眼底，习习的清风使人心胸豁然开朗，豪气顿生。居庸关形势险要，两旁山势雄奇，群峰傲立，可谓“一夫当关，万夫莫开”。长城脚下的山谷内清流萦绕、翠峰重迭、花木郁茂、山鸟争鸣，故有“居庸叠翠”之美称。我不禁轻轻抚摸着古老的城墙，仿佛看到了古代劳动人民修筑长城的艰辛情景，又仿佛看到中华健儿抵御外侮，奋勇杀敌的英姿，古老的关城为中华民族立下了赫赫功勋，同时也向世界展示勤劳、勇敢、自强不屈的中国龙精神，我心中通起一股强烈的民族自豪感。

由于剧烈的车晕，我的体力不济，未能登上长城的峰顶而中途返回，这是我此次长城之行最大的遗憾。
