每年的五月初五是端午节。在我的家乡——苏州，到了端午节，每家每户都包粽子，下面我给大家讲一个关于端午节的故事吧!

端午节那天，奶奶教我包粽子。包粽子要准备好粽叶、稻草、米、枣子和肉。我学着奶奶的样子包了起来。先拿一张粽叶折成三角形，放上米，然后放上枣子，再把粽叶裹住，最后用一根稻草绑紧，一个枣子馅粽子就包好了，奶奶又教我包了一个肉馅的粽子。

奶奶一边教我一边给我讲粽子的由来：在古代的吴国，大将军伍子胥来到苏州，为吴王阖闾建了苏州城，后来伍子胥被吴王夫差杀死，扔到河里，吴王夫差杀死伍子胥后，吴国就被越国给打败了，但是苏州城却留下来了。老百姓为了不让小鱼去吃伍子胥的身体，就包了许多粽子扔到河里去喂鱼。到了每年的五月初五，老百姓就会包粽子纪念伍子胥，于是包粽子就变成了一个民间习俗，传承至今。端午节还有一个习俗就是赛龙舟，这个习俗最早起源于江浙一带，现在赛龙舟已经变成了一项世界性的体育运动。

包粽子真有趣，既能自己动手，还能学到知识。以后每年的端午节我都要包粽子。
