日月如梭，转眼间，二十年过去了，我已是世界闻名的考古专家，也是敦煌研究院的院长。因为长期在西北地区工作，成天和壁画打交道，再加上强烈的高原反应，我早已厌倦了那儿的生活，所以思念故乡的情感日益强烈，故乡的一草一木都使我魂牵梦萦，趁着最近没有任务，我决定回故乡看一看。

归心似箭的我坐上国产的新能源高超音速飞机，直奔故乡南通。一路上，我望着下方连绵起伏的雪山，幻想起了家乡的情景：家乡是不是有许多高楼大厦，是不是有很多智能机器人？带着种种疑问，转眼间，30分钟过去了，我已经到达了南通兴东机场。走下飞机，我惊诧无比，只见眼前高楼耸立，鳞次栉比，望不见头，一些别墅三五成群地散落在高房子周围。我随着人流走出机场，原来的柏油马路全部换成了磁悬浮轨道，来来往往的磁悬浮汽车在上面飞驰。我转过头，看见人行道上竖立着一个透明的小亭子，亭子里还有一些按钮和一个屏幕。一位小伙子走了进去，在按钮上按了几下，只听“砰”的一声就消失了，我十分惊奇。

这么神奇，是什么东西？好奇的我也想试一试，于是走进亭子，只听亭子里传来声音：“请输入地址！”我低头又看了看那些按钮，恍然大悟，原来它们就是键盘呀。我在上面输入了“东景新城”，接着按下确定键。突然，“砰”的一声，我吓了一跳，感到全身冰凉，本能地闭上眼睛。当我睁开眼睛时，已经到达了家。家的变化真大，我的家已经变成一栋五层别墅。我走到门前，轻轻敲了敲门。门开了，开门的竟然是一个机器人，它温柔地说：“请进！”爸爸妈妈听到我的声音，兴奋得鞋都来不及穿，急急忙忙下来迎接我了，但我看到家里空空如也，有一些失落。这时，妈妈按了一下鞋柜上小台灯的按钮，家里便成了另一种景象，恍若梦境——红木家具、新型全景电视、国产大吸力油烟机、珍贵的虎皮床单、种种智能机器人……应有尽有。爸爸告诉我：“那是国产的一大重器，有很好的防盗功能。”在家里参观几圈后，我有点饿了，智能机器人心领神会地给我端来了一碗饭。

吃完饭，我想去日思夜想的学校看看，于是，就开着红旗新型L5太阳能磁悬浮轿车向学校驶去。

来到学校门口，我大吃一惊，教室楼不见了，操场和体育馆也消失了，只有一个前往地下室的电梯厅孤独地立在学校中间，周围是一个大公园。我小心翼翼地向电梯走去，“轰隆，轰隆！”电梯门自动开了，好像是在欢迎我的到来，我也就毫不客气地走了进去。不一会儿，门再次打开，映入眼帘的是一个大操场，一些同学正在踢足球，操场旁是一幢幢形状怪异的房子，传来琅琅读书声。原来每幢就是一间教室，同学们正在认认真真地上课，下课可以到上面的公园里玩耍呢！我偷偷地溜进一间教室，咦，老师呢？哦，原来每个人的桌上都有一个小电脑，现在已经不需要老师了。小电脑里的机器人就可以给同学们讲课、考试。科学技术真神奇啊。

回家一趟，我不仅得到了休息，见到了亲人，还让我认识到了科学的力量。
