How I Spent My Summer Vacation

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way.

I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so.

只要提起习俗，给我印象最深的就是春节了，春节与其他的节日不同，春节要放鞭炮，去拜年等等，但我最喜欢的就是收压岁钱啦!

除夕晚上我们一家人吃着团圆饭，给远方的亲戚打视频电话，开开心心地聊天，吃完饭便睡觉，因为大年初一天还没有亮，就会有炮声四处响，果然，天蒙蒙亮时，四周的鞭炮声已响起，使人睡不好觉，我只好迷迷糊糊地穿上衣服，爸爸妈妈也早已准备好了“红爷爷”见我起床便递给我，我高兴地喊了声：“新年好”!

按照习俗，大年初一早上要吃饺子，妈妈下饺子，奶奶烧香，爸爸响鞭炮，都忙得不亦乐乎，凌晨6：30我们吃完饺子，我便随着爸爸妈妈去庙里磕头，天色昏暗，路上行人却多，一路上，我把“新年好”说个不停，看着手里塞来的压岁钱，我知足地笑了笑。

在我的记忆里，以往的春节初二就要开始拜访亲戚，爸妈带着我和姐姐一同前去，我们一天能走五六家亲戚，马不停蹄，热闹非凡，亲戚见到我们，都热情地来迎接我们，我们每个人聊着天，笑着，谁都那么亲热，一点也不拘束，我也能收到很多压岁钱，心中满是欢喜!在亲戚家坐一会就要回去了，家里也有客人，爸爸妈妈也要去招呼家里来的客人了，爷爷奶奶年纪大了，我们临走时，亲戚们出来送行，看着我们离去后才回到屋里。

然而今年的春节是我长这么大最难忘的一个春节，出现了冠状病毒，祖国母亲生病了!全国人民都封闭在家，我心里很不是滋味。我只能在心里默默祝福，愿祖国母亲快点好起来，等到明年，我们都过上一个快快乐乐，热闹非凡的春节。

I live with my father and mother in a very big house in Dongguan. My parents are both very busy. they leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

When I am home on weekends from school, we spend a lot of time together. We talk about my studies, my health and my school life. I love my parents very much.

除夕这一天还得扎灯笼，小孩子们也帮忙，不仅扎门前院里挂的灯笼，也扎晚上孩子自己提的灯笼。有些人家自己扎，不少人家觉得麻烦，直接从外面买。不过，老一辈的人一向是自己扎，因为对于他们来说，在特定的时间亲手做特定的东西，已经成为了一种习惯。

晚上才是重头戏，鞭炮声要响一整个晚上。一家人聚在一起吃年夜饭————其实也就是杂烩。整盆的年菜，整盆的馒头，一段出来就让人独自直叫。大人都要喝酒，女人们聊着些家常，孩子们也在吃东西。还必须把菜加给孩子和长辈们。

But the fact is that not all the person can become the great person, most people are doing the ordinary jobs. In my opinion, ordinary is beautiful, too. Though they are not doing the fine jobs, they find their own place and make a contribution to the world. Take the cleaner for example. They wake up early and do the cleaning work. People dare not to do the job because it is so dirty, but the cleaners decorate the city with their hard work. The cleaners are the ordinary people while doing the great job.

在我们很小的时候，梦想将来成为伟大的人，比如科学家，警察等等。孩子有伟大的梦想是好的，这样他们就会努力学习，为他们的将来奋斗。但是事实上，并不是所有的人都能成为伟大的人，大部分人都是做着普通的工作。在我看来，平凡也是美丽的。虽然他们没有做着体面的工作，但是他们找到了自己的位置，为社会做贡献。就拿清洁工来说。他们早早起来做清洁。人们不敢做这份工作，因为脏，但是清洁工通过努力工作去装饰了这个城市。清洁工虽然普通，但是他们却做着伟大的工作。

Trees are very useful to people. They provide us with wood and other

products. They give us shade and they help to prevent drought and floods.

Unfortunately， in many parts of our country， people havent realized the

importance of trees. They cut them down at will. They are usually too lazy or

too careless to plant and look after new trees. As a result， the forests

continue to disappear.

Where there are no trees the rain falls on the surface， causing floods， and

carries away with the rich topsoil， in which crops grow so well. When all the

topsoil is gone， nothing remains but worthless deserted.

The big floods of 1998， in parts of China， have already taught us a good

lesson. So every one of us must love trees， protect forests， and keep on

planting trees each year.

20年后我已经成为了一位知名的舞蹈老师。这天，我受到邀请，要回到家乡安康出席一个活动。一路上我怀着激动的心情，终于抵达安康，我才发现如今的家乡的变化真大呀!

如今的的建筑比以前的高大多了，房子的形状千奇百怪，有的像贝壳闪耀着银亮的光芒，有的是爱心形状的，还有的是三角形或正方形，它的材质像钻石般的坚固，既坚固又美观，而不是以前的水泥房子了，是各种不同的材料构成的。

安康的街道也比以前的宽大、整洁、明亮了许多，大树也进化了，我刚看到一位叔叔把烟头扔在了地上，那棵小树就把那些污染空气的烟吸到了它的身体里，并释放出清新的空气，我还来不及惊讶便又看到垃圾桶伸出了一只手把烟头放在它的肚子里，接着变成了一朵朵花瓣，真是不可思议!路灯放射出烂漫无比的光芒，就像一片片雪花在空中飞舞，跟以前的灯完全不一样。

走在街道上，街面一尘不染，清新的空气围绕着我，汉江也变得清澈见底，连小鱼儿都跳出水面挥手向我们问好，真是又调皮又可爱。江边人们种植了很多绿色植物，绿意笼罩着汉江。

回到家我发现我原本的家变化也很大!进门的时候站在门的前面它就会自动开门;想吃饭的时候会有一个机器人根据我的想法给我做饭;坐在沙发上不用遥控器就能自动开机，真是神奇呀!

我的家乡变化之大让我骄傲，我想我以后一定要多回家乡。

I like to eat fruit because almost all fruits are tasty and good for your

body.I like sweet fruits better than sour fruits.My favourite fruit is hami

melon I think it is the sweetest fruit in the world.

I love hami melons.Theyre sweeter than candy and they smell really good.I

hate lemons because no fruit in the world is sourer than it.Sometimes I like to

eat some grapes,too.But be carefull,sometimes they can be as sweet as hami

melons and sometimes they can be as sour as lemons.

My mammy and daddy like to eat sour fruits and my little brother likes to

eat sweet fruits just like me.Fruit is the most delicious thing in the

world.Fruit,I love you.
