With the rapid development of the society, many things around our life are changed. Personally speaking, my hometown has changed a lot.

When I was a child, there was only one black and white TV set in our village. And I don’t know what’s computer. I often went to school on foot. My hometown is beautiful place It stands near a wide river at the foot of low green hills. It has many tall buildings and wide streets. There are trees and flowers everywhere.

They hold the idea, as a proverb saying, “Man proposes, god disposes”. Because

almost all successful people have good luck and have caught their valuable

opportunities, they believe that opportunity is a leading condition of the

success. If seizes and makes the best use of opportunity available, one can

succeed surely. In summary, to them, chances and lucks play the most important

role on the road to success.

However, others maintain that “no pains, no gains” .Without exerting

oneself, one could never expect to achieve success in no matter what one is

doing. As is known to all, there is no royal road to the summit of success. One

is likely to succeed only when one has worked with whole-hearted devotion and

perseverance. Those who are lazy, sloppy and indifferent to their work, those

who never concentrate on work will definitely end in failure. On the whole, as

far as they are concerned, hard-working is the decisive factor to success.

In my view, both hard work and opportunity eventually matters. They are

inseparable from each other, and put together, they make a great success. Hard

work is to luck what fish is to water, and can be seen as an interior

precondition of success. It lays the corner-stone for building a house while

luck serves to cement it, to make the building bricks adherent to one another.

They are the twins that contribute to success together. They are the factors

from within and without respectively. We must work hard, make efforts and get

perseverance always has an aggressive spirit. He can stick to his cause no

matter how tough it might be. Secondly he should be full of confidence . He

shows no frustration and powerlessness in the face of difficulty, but with

confidence and strength soar he is ready to meet the next difficulty. So,

believe yourself and trust yourself is the most important thing. Find something

you really interest and trying to do it until then you will find everything is

so easy. Because you begin to take your first step, dont worry and keep

learning also dont give it up. Thirdly diligence plays an important role on the

way to our success. As the saying goes: "Diligence is the means by which one

makes up for ones dullness". And life is short and we have too much to do .

Without diligence, no one can achieve anything. Whats more, modesty is also one

of the factors to ones success. There is an old saying: "Modesty helps one to

progress and

pride makes one leg behind. " Everyone has his own strong points of which

he may have too high an opinion. The important thing is to be modest and learn

from othersstrong points. A modest person never hesitates to consult those who

学习了桥之思这篇课文后 ，我了解了各种各样的桥。像石拱桥，水泥桥，浮桥，九曲桥，现在我也说说家乡的桥。我的家乡有一座普普通通的水泥桥。桥下是清清的溪水，桥两旁有许多漂亮的花草树木，桥上还有两座古色古香的凉亭。凉亭下面还有石凳。

春天到了，各种花儿竞相开放，争奇斗艳，美丽极了。引来了许多蝴蝶、蜜蜂都来花间采蜜。

夏天来了，大人们在桥上乘凉。有的聊天，还有的唱戏；小孩子们三个一群，两个一伙，玩耍嬉戏，玩的可开心了。

秋天到了，枫树的叶子像火一样红，而松树似乎更苍翠了。
