大家都知道，现在的小孩子都爱玩电脑游戏，我也不例外，也因此挨了不少打骂。可每次打骂之后，我并没有什么改变，于是，迎接而来的是一次又一次的打骂……

The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the society. As a student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago. It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof. In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. 台湾一位年仅22岁的刘姓男子对网络在线游戏成瘾，常宅在家里通宵上网，玩游戏时又爱喝啤酒，近日他猝死电脑前，屏幕秀出游戏画面、耳机从头部脱落，死前仍沉醉虚拟世界。

警方调查，从事网拍的刘姓男子跟母亲同住，朋友很少，几乎足不出户，每天窝在房间玩在线游戏，因床铺边就是电脑，他习惯坐在床上熬夜“拼战”，饿了就吃家人买回的食物。

长期沉迷导致身体亚健康

前天上午9点多，母亲的同居男友买早餐返家，敲房门喊他吃早餐无回应，因房门反锁，母亲持钥匙开门，惊见他仰躺床上不省人事，耳机脱落在头部旁，电脑屏幕停留在游戏画面，床头摆放香烟及啤酒罐。

母亲吓得抱起刘男，他全身已僵硬、没有呼吸心跳，救护人员将他送医急救，到院无生命迹象，抢救仍回天乏术，检警相验分析心肌梗塞猝死。

母亲说，儿子平常都待在家，常熬夜打游戏玩电脑，不过会锁起房门，因此不清楚作息，但未曾透露身体不适。

大家看见了没有沉迷于游戏的危害就是这么大，你想象不到的，所以劝告大家：玩游戏没有错，沉迷于游戏就是你的不对了!

Internet may have been one of the most influential but disputable existences in the world, ever since its first appearance in the late 1960s. Internet has accelerated the world’s development with an incredible speed; nevertheless, it has brought this world many burdens. Nowadays, nobody can imagine what the world will be without this double-edged sword.

In my opinion, the most prominent contribution Internet has made to the world is, to offer every one of us such a convenient access to the vast outside information-based society. With appropriate use of Internet, the distances between people of different nations and countries are shortened. While bringing the world great convenience, Internet also gives out many negative effects, such as some porn websites, addiction in online games and so on. Especially the young people, with less self-restraint, if misled, will be likely to indulge themselves in the harmful parts of Internet. 因为我身边的亲戚一个一个慢慢死去，当我醒悟过来时似乎太迟了！而我因为接受不了事实而更加沉迷网络了！

But today all has changed. And the TV shows are pushing this more far ahead. They will set some interactive sessions to encourage people use the social network service on their cell phone to get some bonus. So even TV time people still stick to their cell phone and have no word for others sitting around. Seems like the social network service is completely replace the normal communication offline. There are a number of tools available today that may help keep the Internet environment safer for children. Some companies, such as America Online, try to monitor everything that is said and done on their online service; however, because thousands of chat rooms are available, it is simply impossible for everything to be monitored, claims Tricia Primrose, worker for America Online . In other words, children want to explore things; however, there are people on the Internet that are just too persuasive.
