The Spring Festival in China celebrates the end of winter and the warmth of spring. From the last day of the lunar year, it ends on the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar.

During the Spring Festival, people use red lantern and Spring Festival couplets decorate a house, put on all kinds of colored clothes, often visit friends and relatives or together eat dumplings, fish, meat and other delicious food. 晚上，我到外边去玩，大街小巷都张灯结彩，最美的还要数护城河边了。护城河边灯光辉煌，人声鼎沸。我漫游在这灯的世界，细细观赏，栩栩如生的金鱼灯，形象逼真的莲花灯，古朴典雅的宫灯——各式各样的彩灯造型优美，装饰考究，做工精细，真让人眼花缭乱，美不胜收。在平静的河面上，映照出了灯的影子，好像河的底下也点着一盏似的。一阵微风拂过，河面上微波荡漾，灯的影子也跟着摇摇晃晃了。

“好!”一阵喝彩声吸引住了我，原来是不远处有人在猜灯谜。我也想过去猜猜，可无奈人太多，形成了一堵‘人’墙，把猜灯谜的舞台围得水泄不通。我站在‘人’墙外，听着里面传来的阵阵欢笑声。主持人开始说灯谜了：“一人一张嘴(猜一字)。”我心想：那是什么呢?我正想着，一位老爷爷举起了手，回答道：“是个‘合’字。”主持人笑眯眯地说：“恭喜您，答对了。”话音刚落，周围就响起了一阵雷鸣般的掌声。

元宵节，这个热闹非凡的节日，在人们的欢笑声中结束。

长城The Great Wall

What impresses me most in Beijing is the Great Wall which is one of the greatest projects in the world. Its not only the cultural heritage, but also a symbol of China. "Its glorious." I think. It looks like a big dragon running across the mountainous area. It starts Shanhaiguan in the east to Jiayuguan in the west. Its so long that nobody can walk from the beginning to the end.

在北京给我印象最深的是长城，是世界上最大的项目之一。它不仅是文化遗产，也是中国的象征。”我觉得“它很辉煌"。它就像一条巨龙穿越山区。从东面的山海关开始一直延伸到西边的嘉峪关。太长了以至于没有人能从走到尾。

It was firstly built in Qin Dynasty and prolonged in Ming and Qing dynasties. It was used to protect the enemies from invading in the past, but now it has become the place of interest which attracts so many tourists both at home and abroad.

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go

The Olympic Games will be held this year.I am so excited and I think the games will be interesting and also fascinating.But now,the important is,how should we do with the Olmpics if I am a volunteer?To solve the problem will be extremely difficult,because nowadays lots of people devote themselves to society and you can not hold an opportunity easily.So just try my best.

We can go to the English Corner to help them to send some DIY newspapers and go to the neighborhood to tell the stories or history about Olmpics to the people who are curious to learn.Also,we can go on the streets to find the problems such as putting away the trash anywhere,saying out the impolite words.That will be meaningful.I am sure that I will succeed.Believe it,do it!
