A new experience

Yesterday I did commonweal in library to earn my public service

scores(which is similar to the compulsory credits).I arrived library at 8’clock

in the morning,a librarian let me to wipe the mirror in every toilet from one to

six floor.Then I started to wipe the mirrors.It was been two hours after I

finished all work.I was very tired,but looking at the shiny and clean mirrors I

had wiped, I felt very happy.To be honest,I had never done the things like it at

home,so it was a new experience to me,and it make me realize the hard work of my

parent.

Li Ming is my classmate, he is always the best student in my class. The

teachers speak highly of him all the time. I wondered how he can do so well, so

I talked to him. He told me that he kept reading books every hour a day, if he

was busy, he would do it before sleeping. I thought about most of us, we could’t

wait to play computer games after we finished the homework. I could find

something was different between Li Ming and other students, now I understand

why, reading the books broadens his vision and enriches his mind, helping him to

be a better man. So I make up my mind to keep reading.

今天妈妈买来一枝百合花，花儿刚被放下家里就有一种清香扑鼻而来。

暑假前，老师给我们布置了一项特别的作业，那就是种植物，并观察它的生长过程。

妈妈从网上给我买来了植物种子，名叫“碗莲”。我仔细阅读了种植说明后，将种子放进玻璃杯里，倒入水和营养液，期待他们能快快长大。

一连四天过去了，我发现小种子们变得胖胖的，圆溜溜的，像是储备好了能量。

同往常一样，一大早起床便去给小钟子换水。让我兴奋的事发生了，有一粒种子头顶裂开了缝隙，嫩绿色的小芽蜷缩在里面。我高兴地叫了起来，这让我更加期待了。

又过了两天，小种子们陆陆续续的长出了嫩绿色的小芽。最先发芽的种子，脖子伸得长长的，头顶尖尖的，这让我想起《小池》里面的诗句：小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头。种植说明书上说，现在就可以进行泥土养殖，要不然不易开花，于是，我把“泥土被子”盖在了他们的身上。对了，容器里始终不能缺水哟。

又过去了两天，小嫩芽们那尖尖的角渐渐地舒展开来，一顶顶，圆圆的。绿绿的叶子像一个个小小的飞机坪，美丽极了!泥土里又有新的嫩芽钻出，真的是棒极了!我高兴极了!他们会开花吗?会开出什么样的花朵呢?我会好好的呵护他们，继续观察它们的生长过程。

Mom said today is Christmas Eve, no homework, great! I went out to dinner

with my parents and saw that the Catholic church was very crowded. Mom and dad

asked me what gift I want, I said no, Santa Claus will give me a gift, I as long

as a safe and happy family together.

After dinner we went home and the family started decorating the Christmas

tree and made a Santa out of silly putty. This Christmas Eve had a good

time!
