新年来临时，我总会试穿新衣服，甚至连新鞋都要试一试，在镜子前转来转去，提前感受新年穿新衣的快乐滋味。时间一分一秒的溜走，我也在不经意间甜甜的睡着。一觉醒来，我就又长大一岁了。大年初一，我会早早的起床，吃了红枣、约上几个小伙伴一起去拜年。大人们穿着新衣也三五成群的行走在洋溢在节日的喜庆里，大家互相道一声“新年好”，我会收获很多的糖果，口袋塞得满满的，只能拎着零食袋，回家后，我会像凯旋的士兵一样把战利品上交给妈妈。

春节里，人们走亲访友、互致祝福。这一刻，大家彼此传递着亲情、友情、乡情。年年岁岁花相似，岁岁年年人不同。家乡的春节可真是丰富多彩，令人回味啊!

New Year Party

On New Years Eve，our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden snap. Then with three resounding（响亮的） crow of a cock echoing in the hall，the hall was again brightly lit in a snap.

Then，the representative of the bedroom Zhu Guozhang asked us to guess a line of a poem related to the above situation. He added that Li Xinmin alone was born in the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of the chicken. They left us all in confusion. And it was our monitor who was quickwitted（机智的）. He shouted our， "The day breaks as the cock crows three times at dawn." The hall After that，they had another item. This time Li Xinmin was placed in the middle of the circle. While he was standing there，the other three stood around him，each bowing down to him at an angle of 120 degrees. It was an idiom. The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people.   All family members will get together to have a big meal on the New Years Eve. Well watch the fireworks and eat dumplings. And some families will sit together to chat or watch the get-together of CCTV. Its a big and special programme.

Almost every family will watch it until 12 oclock. During the spring festival,people can visit their relatives or friends .Its also a happy time for children . They can get a red package from parents and grandparents, or relatives , and there is money in it. So the children are very happy during the festival.

家里摆着一盘盘糖果和团圆饭。大家开开心心地聚在一起，高高兴兴地吃团圆饭，互相说声：“祝你新年快乐!”我也跟大家说：“新年好!”

All things considered, I think its advantages outweigh its disadvantages. Actually, nothing in the world is perfect. It is unwise to make light of the favorable aspects of a thing on account of its unfavorable aspects. The same is true of the attitude you take towards the air-conditioner.

I like spring festival because we are very happy on that day.Last festival we had a good time and I will never forget it.In the morning all my family were busy preparing for it.I helped to clean the house and my parents were cooking some delicious food.On that afternoon we had a big dinner.At night we made jiaozi and set off fireworks to celebrate the festival.In the meanwhile we watched TV.My parents gave me much lucky money.The next morning we said happy new year to everybody from door to door.
