As we know, many people favor theidea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’snot true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonderif my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts,including study, student activities, library and the others.

Firstly, I want to talk about thestudy. In my opinion, study is the priority in college. When I received theletter of admission in summer, I knew clearly that what I should do. Thirdly, I also visit the libraryconstantly. It’s said that “shelves of books, oceans of knowledge”, so I readbooks that I’m interested in. In this way, I can share stories with my new friendsand it also changes my horizons .When I’m sad, lost or in trrouble, staying thelibrary makes me quiet and comfortable. After all, every life has bad momentsas well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in thelibrary.

Finally, I often do other thingsin my spare time. In order to alleviate parents’ burden, I often do somepart-time jobs and write some articles to earn money. It helps me to beindependent and improve my social skills.

In short, mylife in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge,student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the othersthings make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see thatthe chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so I’m sure that I canachieve my dreams in college life.

As a boy of 18, I am happy to go to such a famous university, so that I want to make my life colorful and fruitful in university. Heres my plan for university life:

Firstly, I am an adult of 18 years old, so I should learn to be independent, especially in my study. I have the same routine from Monday to Friday. I usually get up at five fifty. Then I have breakfast. At six thirty, I go to school. I don’t ride a bike. I go to school on foot. I have five lessons in the morning. I do morning exercises with my classmates after the second lesson. At eleven thirty, I go home for lunch. In the afternoon, I have three lessons. After class, we often have sports in the playground. At five, I go home. After supper, I do my homework. At about ten, I go to bed. I am happy every day.

Today I will say the low-carbon life in our house. 我爸以前扔垃圾都是不管三七二十一装在一个袋子里一同扔掉。可是现在却不同了，他每次都把垃圾分类，不可回收的都扔掉，可回收再利用的都收集起来卖给收废品的，这样卖废品的钱攒起来还可以买菜。

就这样两个月的低碳生活，不仅让我们家人人养成了好习惯，还节省了不少生活开销。妈妈高兴的说：“低碳生活既环保，又省钱，还能让我们健康的生活，我们家一定要把低碳生活进行到底!”

The girls were  less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.

为什么要提倡低碳生活呢?那是因为近几年来，由于人们的大肆浪费，造成了地球上的能源的急剧减少，现在已经所剩无几了，再开发新的能源，肯定来不及。

因此，我们要抵制这些浪费的行为，在生活中尽可能地节约使用能源，并因而减少二氧化碳的排放量。这样，才能够做到“低碳生活”。

现在，越来越多的人们开始加入了提倡低碳生活的行列，并为营造低碳生活作着贡献。但是，还有一些人，只顾着自己享受，根本就不会为将来着想，随意地浪费着地球上已经所剩无几的能源，这种行为是不对的，假如人人都像他们那样，只顾自己的话，地球上微薄的能源用不了多久，就会被消耗殆尽的，到了那个时候，无论人们有多么的后悔，也无济于事了。

低碳生活在现在这种关头，显得尤其重要，希望大家都要自觉地营造低碳生活，从自己的身边做起。营造低碳生活，从我做起!

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.
