今天，我读了《白耗牛》一书，受益匪浅。

《白耗牛》讲述的是这样一个故事：在一个牧场里，丢失了一只珍贵的耗牛。这时，，个叫贡嘎的学生，要为玛尔吉阿婆找回这只白耗牛。他翻山越岭终于从一个守林人那里了解到白耗牛被偷到了长岭山的牧场，还得知牛贩子康劳要杀白耗牛。他只身勇闯虎穴，终于从康劳的手里抢回了白耗牛。

读了这个故事，我想：“连个学生都能这样为国家保护珍贵动物，而现在很多人却随便捕杀野生动物，破坏环境，使动物们生存受到了威胁。”

我曾在电视上看到这样组镜头：非洲草原土，横七竖八地躺着被割去象牙的非洲象，周围一片鲜血；一条肮脏的冒着白泡的河流中，漂着一条一条死鱼；还有被关在笼中的猴子……

记得有一次，爸爸带我们到饭店吃饭，我忽然看见了饭店一角关着两只穿山、甲，鱼池里还有中华鳃，这些可是国家保护动物啊！怎么能被吃掉呢？

这不禁让我回想起了我看过的一部纪实影片：一只活泼可爱的小猴子被关到了一个特别的笼子里，只露出一个脑盖来，侍者拿出锤子对着脑盖敲了几下，小猴的脑盖便开了，而那些可恶的客人竟然用热水烫过的勺子舀着猴脑吃。小猴在那里大声惨叫着……

这是为什么？人类本应与自然和谐共处，但有些人却为了金钱，不择手段，屠杀手无寸铁的动物。从此，大自然的生态平衡被破坏了。

地球已经千疮百孔了，如果我们人人都像贡嘎一样，那么很多珍稀的动物也不会灭绝，动物们也不会向人们苦苦哀求了！

朋友们，快清醒吧，动物是人类的朋友！我要大声呼吁:“保护动物，人人有责，让我们共同保护我们的家园吧！"

Animals Need Protecting

我们要保护小动物，特别是小鸡这类弱小的动物，因为小鸡早晨可以叫我们起床，可以生一个又一个圆圆的的鸡蛋，还可以提供鸡肉给我们吃。

有一次，我和妈妈上菜市场，听见一位老奶奶在喊：“卖鸡了，今天的鸡又肥又嫩！”妈妈说：“今天，我们买一只鸡回家，炖汤喝。”我说：“好吧。”可又想了想：如果我们吃了鸡，那么就吃不到鸡蛋了，就对妈妈说：“不行，吃了鸡就没有鸡蛋吃了。”“傻孩子，你瞎操什么心啊！”妈妈不由分说地把我拉到卖鸡的那边。卖鸡的老奶奶正在杀鸡，只见她拔下鸡脖子上的毛，拿刀用力地在鸡脖子上划了几下。血喷向了四周，鸡挣扎了几下就死了。“太残忍了，我不要吃鸡！”我向妈妈大声的抗议。“好吧，不买了，我们就去买点蔬菜吧。”也许妈妈也觉得残忍，就同意了。

假如我们的生活中没有了动物，世界就会变得很孤独。我们要保护动物，从自身做起：少吃肉类食品，少穿皮衣毛衣；看见别人欺负动物，要勇敢地站出来劝说他们。

保护动物，人人有责！

九月的一天，阳光明媚，微风习习。温哥华繁华的街道上，车水马龙，一片热闹的景象。巡警如往常一样，正在协助交警指挥交通。忽然，他发觉六只憨态可掬的小鸭子，正在鸭妈妈的带领下，旁若无人、大摇大摆地横穿马路。

车辆只好停下，等着这个高傲的“部队”穿过马路。后面的车子毫不知情，不断地发出嘈杂的喇叭声与呐喊声，催着车辆尽快通行。巡警这时早已看不下去了，吹响了口哨，警告后面车辆停止发声并做出解释。

正当鸭妈妈刚要迈出最后一步踏上街道，突然，几只小鸭失足跌入了路旁的入水道，发出了

“嘎嘎嘎”的求救声。鸭妈妈循声找去，看见自己的宝贝已经掉入了“疾速瀑布”——下水道。看见自己的宝贝马上要掉入水管道，鸭妈妈在危急时刻，沉着冷静，急急忙忙地走到巡警的面前“嘎嘎嘎嘎”地叫。巡警一脸糊涂，根本没有听懂鸭妈妈说的话。鸭妈妈见巡警无动于衷，只好用扁嘴把巡警一步步地拉到下水道边。

巡警跟着鸭妈妈来到下水道口，低头一看，呀!几只小鸭子正在下水道里逆流而上，为了帮助自己不掉入水管中，但他们可惜体力不支，也在逆流时慢慢地靠近水管。情况紧急，巡警伸手就去救几只小鸭子，这时鸭宝宝们体力透支得已要掉入水管。在这迅雷不及掩耳之时，巡警不顾水脏跳入了下水道，堵住了管口，救出了小鸭们。鸭妈妈十分感激，连忙让小鸭们表示感谢。谢完，鸭妈鸭宝又开始了长途旅行。

看着这个情景，我也不禁想到：地球属于这颗星球所有生命，动物与人类是地球共同的主人，我们应该和它们和谐相处。让我们从小做起，保护野生动物，关心野生动物，让更多人都能投入到保护野生动物的行动中来。

Recently, our efforts to protect wild animals was questioned by the public,

because the news is keep reporting that more and more wild animals was killed by

human beings, especially the very precious one. Innocent animals was dead for

their meat, fur and tooth, it was just used to fill up human beings desire. In

my point of view, the wild animals were protected effectively still has a long

way to go.

Firstly, people should try harder to make a better place for animals. The

land where the wild animals live was deprived by human being. For hundreds

years, people cut the trees to make land for their living and farming, wild

animals homeland was took, they have no choice but run away. What is more,

human beings break the food link in nature; wild animals can not find enough

food to keep alive. There is no doubt that the destruction of nature has become

a big problem to kill wild animal, for instance, a polar bear was starved to

death because of the greenhouse effect, the ice was melt away, the seadog and

fish that polar bear like to eat are far away from them. For those reasons,

people should protect the environment first if they want to protect wild animals

effectively.

Second, no buying, no killing. Some rich people like to wear fur coat, they

treat it as a status symbol, especially for rich woman, they think animal fur is

beautiful and warm, they will never consider that the fur they wear for years is

the skin that animal wear for their whole life, and they knew how bloody when

people took the fur from animal but they choose to ignore it. If people do not

buy the fur and tooth, lots of wild animals will be survived.

In sum, wild animals are our friends, we should give back and protect their

homeland, and stop buying their body part, or our future generations will see

them in zoo and museum.

Animals Need Protecting

It is suggested that people have been aware of the issue--lack of preservation for endangered spieces, animals and plants, but as you see , they placed little efforts to cope with the problem.despite the versatility and intricacy of instruments , I would pore over some of the most striking ones and offer alternatives afterwards.

One of the major reasons , causing peoples inocence of protecting animals, is that the government did not function well as an educator, arosing peoples initiative in shielding wild animals, which led to the consequence that people do not know their responsibility to prevent animals from dangers, and specific knowledge in guarding them. what is equally important as the reason mentioned above is that media did not meet our satisfaction to inform the mass of the emergency which is crutial in arousing peoples conciousness to keep animals safe.

In spite of the serious problem, measure leading to profound improvement still can be taken. owning to the fact that funds are insufficient in some developing countries, developed countries or international organizations should shoulder more burden -- finacing them in order to capacitate them to accompolish the protection of animals. at the same time, education in telling people the way to make animals harboured ought to be focused on, thus resulting in peoples better awareness in the camouflage of our pla#from cutest creatures.

It is belived by me that if correct actions are taken to preserve animals, any kind of them will be far away from extinction forever.

有动物权益保护者称这段视频令人感到恶心，并抨击这一极端饮食习惯;也有人认为这是中国文化的一部分，外国人应该学会尊重中国的文化;还有人认为，这是漠视自然、对地球缺少尊重的行为。当然这种现象并不只存在于中国，世界上很多地方都存在。比如西班牙人有斗牛的传统，英国人直到最近还去猎狐，法国人为了产出肥美的鹅肝而强行给鹅灌食等。

大自然是一个很奇妙的世界。有许许多多的动物，天上飞的，水里游的，地上跑的，还有各种各样的植物，当然还有机智聪明的人类，从而营造了一个丰富多彩的世界。

动物家族是自然界不可缺少的一部分，然而却遭到了严重的破坏。人类为了满足自己的私欲，不断地捕杀动物来换取金钱，从而迷失了自我，导致有些动物失去了自己的亲人。

在肯尼亚北部萨布鲁大草原上，一只非洲象诞生了，它就是罗拉。一对扇子大小的耳朵上有一块蝴蝶斑大小的标记，这是罗拉独特的标记。它是一个很可爱的大象宝宝，可它的遭遇却如此不幸。

充沛的雨季已经过去了，东非草原的旱季是整个地球最热的地方，罗拉家族要去寻找一块新的领地。在途中遇到了一只小公象，它叫雷昂，雷昂的家族遭到了人类的屠杀，而雷昂的妈妈也在这次屠杀中永远的离开了雷昂，当雷昂再次见到妈妈的时候，尸体已经面目全非，两颗雪白的牙齿已经不见了，连象鼻也被割下来了。罗拉的妈妈决定收留它，对待它就如对待自己的孩子一样，这使雷昂感觉到了家的温暖。

可是好景不长，一场突如其来的灾祸降临了，在它们正准备休息的时候，近处的树木中出现了人的影子，一声巨大的轰响，罗拉的妈妈倒下了，罗拉永远的失去了妈妈，对于雷昂来说，这已经是它第二次失去亲人了。

要吗?人与动物之间同样都是生命，为什么会有巨大的差别?动物是我们的朋友，不是我们赠钱的工具。我们应该保护它们，让它们有一个温暖的家，而不是杀它们，去摧毁它们的家。放下你们的枪去保护它们吧!不要在让它们担心受怕，让那些刚出生的小象可以健康的成长，有家人倍伴成长，开心的成长。保护它们吧，给它们一个安心的家。

Every man know elephants. But do you know now the elephants are becoming fewer and fewer. Its a serious problem. Let me tell you about the elephants.

Elephant are the biggest mammal on land. They can live up to 80 years.They are so cute.Their ivory is so pretty and expensive that many people kill them to get their ivory. So they can make much money by selling the ivory. Also,elephants are also losing their homes bacause people cut down lots of trees. There cause that there are only a few elephants in the world now.

What should we do to save and protect the elephants? In my opinion,we can often seveal and try to stop others cutting down trees around us.

And we mustnt buy the ivory,because no buying, no killing.

At that time, I was in first grade, also do not understand love small animals.

That day, my mother bought me two little ducks. I am very happy, put the two little ducks in the box, hearing the cry of them, my mood is very good.

The next day, I want to let my classmates to my house to see my duck, I call the classmate, let him come. He looked at the duck, also feel very funny. 下午，我和爸爸去看小鸭子，看见一只鸭子肚子朝上，翅膀和脚在抖动，它叫的声音很大，好像在哭一样。爸爸把小鸭子扶起来，小鸭子又倒了。我突然想起来我把小鸭子扔进箱子里的事，呀!我是杀人凶手呀!我哭了。小鸭子最后死了，我很伤心。

从那时起，我就开始爱护小动物了。

让我们走进动物王国，倾听动物们发自内心的呐喊可爱的海豚说：“我来自蓝蓝的大海，我珍惜现在拥有的这个温暖的家，我发自内心地、由衷地号召大家—爱护这个美丽的大海!”英勇的雄鹰说：“我是高空中的勇士，湛蓝的天空、洁白的云朵构成一幅美丽的画，我爱这个美丽的家。请大家珍惜这个家—辽阔的蓝天—我们共同拥有的家!”蹦跳不停的松鼠说：“我是森林中可爱的小精灵，高大的树，为我遮阳，树下还开了一些可爱的小花;绿色丛林、欢乐的家，请大家不要伤害这个属于大自然的家;让我们共同珍惜这个美丽的家!”

(现今)比目鱼可怜巴巴地说：“我原住在广阔的大海里，可现在，大海给黑色浑浊的水污染了，我不得不离开了这个美丽的家。难道人类的良心给狗吃了吗”，比目鱼突然情绪难控“你们住高楼大厦，却不让我们安宁。呜呼!把家安在哪儿呀?”机警的白鸽“咕咕——”愤怒地说：“你们无情的人类，不给我一天清新的空气，地球妈妈的‘衣裳’(大气层)都快破了。人类真是不孝之子!”重病在身的老虎带着沙哑的声音说：“可恶的人类!杀了我一家老老少少，连我的尾巴也给人类的枪打断了，我无家可归，哪一天，我也可能死在人类的抢下。我成天提心吊胆，不得安宁……”说着，咳嗽连连。

人类们，问问自己良心吧!换作你是动物，你又会怎么想呢?总有一天，这种灾难也会降临在人类身上!在此，我呼吁：保护动物，保护大自然，人人有责!全人类行动起来吧!把动物赶尽杀绝—这种行为是低级的、是愚蠢的，不是高级动物—人类干的，反省反省自己吧!让我们好好珍惜共同拥有的美好家园吧!

From the passage we know that thousands of endangered animals are facing the threat of being bought and sold on the internet. Traders make a great profit from it，which is illegal.

As is often read in the newspaper reports， wild life especially the rare species are threatened with extinction. Human beings are making attempts to hunt wild animals for a big profit， which， of course， results in a sharp decrease in the number of animals.

Therefore， it is high time for us to take quick action to protect them. First of all， it’s quite necessary for every citizen to realize the importance of animal protection. Only by knowing its importance can people develop a sense of responsibility. In addition， the government should pass some laws to forbid any hunting of rare animals.

If I were one of the endangered animals， I would hope that man could be a good friend of mine rather than my enemy.

从文中我们知道成千上万的濒危动物面临的威胁是在网上买卖。交易员有很大的利润,这是非法的。

经常在报纸上看到报道,野生动物尤其是稀有物种濒临灭绝。人类正在试图猎杀野生动物,也赚了不少钱,,当然,导致动物的数量急剧减少。

人人都要保护动物，决对不要去伤害它们。在一个下午，我看见一只灰色的小狗从门口经过。

它悠闲地走着，可后面冲来一辆棕色的面包车，并且就要撞到小狗了，可那只小狗完全不知道灾难已经降临在它身上了。

"汪汪汪!”不一会，传来几声狗叫声，小狗活生生被车轮压了过去，然后躺在地上抽搐。

看到这一幕，我的心碎了，那么可爱的小狗活生生死在车下，那个开车的人难道这么没有爱心吗?

我发吁;动物是我们人类的好朋友，我们应当去爱护它们，保护动物吧!这是我心灵的呼唤。

保护动物

It was a fine day today and the sun was bright。 I visited Beijing Zoo with my classmate， He Song。 The animals were so interesting that all the people loved them。 When a bear asked for some food by waving its ann， a visitor threw something to it。 At once I went up to him and said without thinking，Dont do that。 Its bad for it。 If you really love them， take good care of them。 His face turned red and answered he wouldnt do that again。

这天是个风和日丽的好天，我和同学贺松去了北京动物园。动物们是那么可爱，大家都十分喜欢它们。一只熊挥动着胳膊向人们要吃的，一个游客就投进去了什么东西。我想都没想就走过去说：“不要那样做。你的做法对它们没好处。如果真的喜欢它们，就就应爱护它们。”他的脸红了，并且回答说他不会再那么做了。

有一天，我在路上遇到一只小狗。这只小狗很可爱，圆圆的脑袋，圆溜溜的眼睛，小小的身子，可是它的身上到处都是伤，青一块、紫一块的，原来这是一只受了伤的小狗。小狗摇了摇尾巴，趴在地上，一副忧伤的样子，好像在说：“小朋友，我的主人不要我了，说我太脏太调皮，把我赶出了家，我现在成了一只脏兮兮的流浪狗了。你能收留我吗?”我看着这只流浪狗，心里很不是滋味，决定把它带回家。心里想：妈妈看到我把一只这么脏的小狗带回家，会不会不让小狗进我家呢?可是又不能让小狗待在这里，这里这么危险，到处都是人群、汽车，万一小狗出了事故，后果可不堪设想啊!我还是决定把小狗带回家，它毕竟是小动物，我们要保护它呀!于是我不想那么多，把它先带回家再说吧!

一进家门，妈妈又开始唠叨了。她可是个很爱干净的人哪，见我抱回一只这么脏兮兮的小狗，生气地说：“哪来的脏兮兮的小狗，有没有疾病，快点把它抱出去!”“不要嘛，妈妈，求求您了，它这么可怜，身上这么多的伤疤，一定很疼的，我们就收留它吧!”一旁的小狗也能听懂我们的对话似的，低着头好像在说：“求求你们好心人，收留我吧!”。妈妈拿我没办法只好答应了。我喜出望外，把小狗抱起来直打圈，妈妈见我这么爱小动物，也笑眯眯的笑了。于是我和妈妈去楼下防疫中心给狗狗打了疫苗针。我还给小狗洗了澡，给它吃了甜甜的小点心，它开心地摇摇尾巴，好像在说：“谢谢你，我的新主人。”我还给它起了个名字叫“亮亮”，因为它洗完澡之后就变得漂亮起来了，所以叫“亮亮”。

我心想：如果全世界的人都能保护小动物，不让小动物受到伤害，那该有多好啊!

让我们一起来保护小动物吧!

A thought-provoking dialogue between the mother elephant and her own child appears in the first picture. Having growing his teeth, the young elephant is eager to share the exciting news with his mother. However, after repeating his words several times, there is still no response coming from the mother. Meanwhile, the attractive caption in the second photo reads: no trade, no kill.

The above pictures unveil a hazard posed to wildlife due to the expanding scale of world commercial hunting. At least two fundamental factors could contribute to this phenomenon. The industry of commercial hunting have undergone a booming expansion (along with the growing public awareness of the merits of wildlife, which makes/), making hunting unusually profitable. Worse still, lacking knowledge regarding the significance of ecological balance, some people take the gun to chase animals insatiably (and thus cause a severe threat to all life in the world). Apparently, this trend will surely in turn endanger humankind in the long run.

(On no account should we turn a blind eye to such things.//All these factors above make it crucial to take drastic measures to protect the wildlife.) Accordingly, governments all over the world are supposed to unite to work out effective measures against commercial hunting. Additionally, people should be educated from childhood to cultivate the awareness that we and the rare wild animals share the same precious planet. I do believe a harmonious relationship between the wildlife and human beings is awaiting us if we make every effort to promote wildlife protection both nationally and internationally.

我们身边有很多很多有益的小动物，比如说蜻蜓啊，小燕子啊，还有青蛙等有益的小动物。

我们先去看看蜻蜓吧!

你们瞧，一只蜻蜓正停在枝头上呢!这时候，我发现蜻蜓的头上有一双大大的眼睛，真像一盏探照灯。它还有一对透明的翅膀。它的身材又细又长，真苗条。它不但会捉害虫，还是一名气象预报员，当它低飞时就说明天气有变化。

再去看看小燕子吧!

你们看，天空上有一只小燕子正忙着在捉飞虫呢!燕子的身上披着一件黑色的燕尾服，尾巴像一把小剪刀。它呀，也是一位气象预报员。当它飞低时天空也会有变化。可爱的小燕子要跟我们说再见了。

呱呱呱，呱呱呱，听谁来了?哦，原来是小青蛙。它鼓着一对大眼睛，披着碧绿碧绿的衣裳，露着雪白雪白的肚皮，可爱极了。它一年呀能捉成千上万只害虫。它可是保护庄家的好帮手。

如果你问我喜欢的小动物是什么？那我就告诉你，我喜欢的小动物是——小狗。

我家的小狗的毛是雪白雪白的，宛如雪落在小狗身上似的，漂亮极了！一双眼睛水汪汪的，好似刚刚下过一场春雨，雨点掉进了他眼里似的；它长着长长的尾巴，假如街边的尘土多，就可以用尾巴把尘土扫得干干净净的。

有一次放学回家，我去看小狗。我那着骨头引它来吃，但它不但不吃，还一动不动的，好象被什么烦住了。原来，小狗就要生宝宝了......

宝宝出生后，我更疼爱小狗了。但好景不长，不幸的事情发生了。一天，小狗蹲在妈妈停车的位置上，那时妈妈回来了，妈妈一时看不见，小狗又睡着了，不知道。这时，妈妈把车停在那个位置上。就在这时候，小狗被妈妈撞死了。看到这情景，我伤心透了，连续哭了2个小时。

到了这个时候，我对小狗的感情依然还是那么深，我对小狗的死感到恋恋不舍。小狗，我爱你。

Some people think that human needs for farmland, housing, and industry are more important that saving land for endangered animals.

Do you agree or disagree with this point of view? Why or why not?

In the past, there have been many endangered animals. Now they are extinct. Does it matter? Has our environment been affected by their absence? Has the quality of our own life been changed? The answer to these questions is “Yes.”

Yes. It does matter if we destroy an endangered species habitat to develop more farmland, housing or industrial parks. There is a delicate balance of nature. If one small part is removed, it will effect all the other parts.

For example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. If they cannot roost, they cannot breed. If there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat certain insects that plague our crops.

Yes. Our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. Certain flowers are pollinated by butterflies, which migrate from Canada to Mexico.

Some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed. Now these flowers are disappearing from certain areas. We will no longer be able to enjoy their beauty.

Yes. The quality of our life has been changed America used to be covered with giant trees. Now we have to visit them in one small park.

Rain forests around the world are being cut down to make room for humans. We will never be able to see or study this fragile ecosystem.

I would encourage us humans to look for other alternatives for our farmlands, housing, and industries. We have alternatives; the animals do not.

党的十八大明确提出建设美丽中国的新构想，把生态文明建设放在突出地位，凸显了人与自然、人与社会和谐共生的重要性。我们生活在一个庞大的生态系统中，许许多多的生物组成了我们周围的生态系统，野生动物就是其中的重要组成部分，是人类的朋友，保护发展和合理利用野生动物资源，对改善自然环境，促进人与自然的和谐，保持生物多样性，维护生态平衡，建设美丽中国有着重要意义。近些年来由于生态环境的恶化、野生动物栖息地的人为破坏，致使我国野生动物的数量、分布范围正日益缩小，许多种类已处于濒临灭绝状态。为了缓解人与自然的矛盾，顺应自然发展规律，我们必须行动起来，从我做起，从现在做起，伸出我们的双手，献出我们的爱心，以实际行动保护和拯救野生动物，建设好美丽家园、美丽中国。

普洱市森林资源丰富，适宜野生动物生存繁衍，是全国生物多样性最丰富的地区之一。长期以来，我们在宣传普及野保知识及法律法规和查处野保案件方面做了大量工作，辖区内野生动物生存、发展环境得以改善，野生动物物种逐年增多。但目前社会对保护野生动物的认识不足，滥捕、滥猎、滥食野生动物时有发生，保护野生动物的氛围亟待加强。因此我们呼吁全体市民行动起来，积极参与支持野生动物保护，为此我们提出如下倡议：

一、从我做起，保护野生动物从餐桌做起，杜绝食用野生动物，树立饮食文明新风尚;

二、不滥捕、不猎杀野生动物，做文明、守法、有爱心的好公民;

三、关爱动物，保护林业资源，让良好的森林生态环境成为野生动物的栖息庇护场所;

四、各饲养、运输和餐饮企业不非法经营、贩运、加工、制作、销售野生动物及其制品，做绿色、环保、守法的经营者;

五、人人行动起来，积极劝说阻止、举报各类破坏林木、伤害野生动物的行为，做保护生态环境的模范。

昨天，我妈妈给我买了一本书，是关于动物的，接下来我就给大家大概说一下吧。

我花了一小时把那本书看完了，看完之后我就知道了我们要保护动物，因为里面讲到这样一件事，从前，在一个村子里的人，全部信仰动物之神，但有一个人不信，他就去抓了几只鸽子杀了，之后的几天里，那个人突然死亡，大家都信他是被动物之神杀死的，之后就没人再抓动物了。

看完这个故事，还真应了我们语文书上的一句话：降临到动物身上的，终究会降临到人们身上。
