中秋节的起源有很多说法。有说它起源于古代帝王的祭祀活动，说是为了祭月亮，后来贵族官吏和文人学士也相继效仿，逐步传到民间。还有说中秋节的起源和农业生产有关，秋天是收获的季节，八月中秋农作物和各种果品陆续成熟，农民为了庆祝丰收，表达喜悦的心情就以中秋这天作为节日。

每一个节日都会吃一些特定的食物，比如端午节吃粽子，元宵节吃元宵，那中秋节当然也有特定的食物，那就是—月饼。月饼作为吉祥、团圆的象征寄托着人们美好的愿望。虽然从小生活在国外，但是中秋节我们也能吃到月饼。国外的月饼的种类少的可怜，只有蛋黄呀椰蓉这些馅儿。还记得小的时候我问妈妈为什么只有这些馅儿?妈妈回答我说她小时候可不止这些，还有豆沙、芝麻、五仁等好多种口味，但是我们身在国外就买不到那么多种的口味的月饼。我从小就不太爱吃月饼，觉得蛋黄的味道怪怪的，所以对我来说中秋节印象最深刻的就是一家人一起站在阳台上看月亮，中秋的月亮格外的圆、格外的明亮!我们一家人会拿着手机拍月亮最后全家人还会和月亮合影，十分的温馨。在这里过中秋节就是这么简单，可对我来说无论什么节日怎么庆祝在哪里庆祝，一家人在一起才是最重要的。所以我们会在中秋这天一家人和月亮拍一张“全家福”。

在外国人眼里，这是一个再普通不过的一天，并没有什么奇特的。然而在我眼里，这是一个与家人团聚、非常珍贵的一天。

Since I came to middle school, I have to learn so many subjects, at first,

I could not catch up with my classmates, I felt so worried. So I decided to keep

studying every night. After finishing dinner, I went to my bedroom and did my

homework. But when I finished my homework, I forced myself to go over other

subjects. Though I was very tired, I still keptstudying until midnight. But it

did not work, I did not made progress. I talked to my teacher, she told me to

relax and had a good rest, I needed to be patient and made progress step by

step. I realized my mistake and adjusted my method and it works.

小时候，我经常去外婆家玩。外婆家的那栋房子我格外熟悉，因为外婆总是陪我玩，所以渐渐地，我跟外婆格外好。

外婆家里有许多唐诗宋词的书，没事的时候，外婆就会教我读唐诗宋词。外婆说过：“熟读唐诗三百首，不会作诗也会吟。”那时的我不喜欢读诗，每天只想着跟小朋友玩，外婆因此就想出了一个办法：“每读完一篇诗，就放我出去玩一会儿。”渐渐地，我爱上了读唐诗。

出去玩累了，我便来到外婆家。“小宝，在外面玩累了吧，来，外婆给你煮饺子吃！”外婆说道。她拿起她那件旧围裙，有些佝偻的背往后挺了挺，一双龟裂的手从冰箱里拿出一袋面粉，便开始包起饺子来。

她坐在小板凳上，两鬓发白的发丝垂在两耳前，弓着背，颤颤巍巍地用勺子往袋里舀几勺面粉，眼里流露出一丝温情，好像在想着什么。我见外婆在包饺子，以迅雷不及掩耳之速凑上去，结果一不小心绊倒了，摔到了面粉盆里，“扑通”一声。外婆急忙扶我起来，嘴里叨念着：“我的个乖乖，你怎么这么冒失啊，看你浑身……”我看看自己，再看看外婆，“哈哈哈”我，跟外婆不约而同地笑了出来，外婆的笑是那么温暖，我至今仍记忆犹新。

夕阳的余光晕染着这栋老房子，使它展现出一种别样的美。小屋里，灯光下，那一幕幕温暖的画面印在我脑海里，勾起我对外婆的无限思念……

Water

Water is very important for living things. Without water there can be no life on earth. All animals and plants need water. Man also needs water.

Water is found atmosteverywhere. Even in the driest part of the world there is some water in the air.

As we all have found out, water may be a solid, or a liquid or a gas.When it isa solid, it may be as hard as brick, When itis a liquid, you can pour it out of a container. When it is a gas, you cannot see or feel it.

Although about 70 percent of the earths surface is covered with water,there are many places in the world still running out of water. So we should make good use of water on earth.

I am studying in a middle school now, this is my second year. Studying in

the middle school, I have many subjects to learn, I always want to do the best,

so I focus all my attention on the study. My teacher tells me that I should not

do some activities, I play basketball, I find myself really enjoy outside

splendid environment, but also cause environmental pollution. Whats more,

industrial pollution also deserves our attention. Wastewater from factories is

poured into rivers and this causes water pollution. As a consequence, the

greenhouse effect becomes a problem which needs our immediate caution and how to

solve is urgent all over the world. At present, some measures have been taken to

prevernt.

For example, people classify the garbage and some is recycled after being

collected. People are also encouraged to use paper products instead of plastic

products because we know that our living condition will be worse if we keep

ignoring this problem. And I believe we can prevent pollution if everyone makes

the efforts.
