Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

保护野生动物

许多野生动物正面临绝种的危险，因为它们生活的环境发生了极大的变化。譬 如，随着城市的发展，杀虫剂的使用和严重的污染，野生动物的生活区域变得越来越狭小。许多野生动物目前正面临着食物方面的危机。同时，为了获取野生动物的毛、皮、角、牙齿和肉，人类正在屠杀野生动物。

为了保护生态资源，人们应当意识到任何物种的缺失，至少意味着知识资源和自然美的缺失。因此，应采取以下措施：制订污染标准以降低有毒物质;严禁杀害某些稀有物种;应建立国家公园作为野生动植物保护区。

我们只有采取一些有力措施，才能保护野生动物。

当你们在森林里滥砍伐树木的时候：当你们在森林里随意捕杀动物的时候……你们可曾知道，平均每小时就有1种动物频临灭绝！平均每年就有几千万亩植被变成了光秃秃的荒地！

我曾在书上看见过一幅十分耐人寻味的漫画：一个人正拎着斧头在森林里砍树，嘴里还叼着一根烟，一只啄木鸟落在这个丝毫没有保护环境意识的人肩上，想：这个人的脑袋就跟木头一样，一定有一条虫在这里面！不行，我要把它----这条该死的虫叼出来！

的确，在现实生活中，就有这么多长有“榆木脑袋”的人，他们就像漫画中的人一样，根本就没有保护环境的责任心，一心只为了自己的私利！因此，才导致了平均每小时就有1种动物频临灭绝；平均每年就有几千万亩的植被变成了光秃秃的荒地……这一系列严重的后果！

写到这里，我还想到了黄河断流、罗布泊干涸、塞特凯达斯瀑布的逐渐消失、黄果树大瀑布要靠自来水来维持昔日的辉煌！……这么多往日我们引以为荣的自然景观，如今却失去了旧日的辉煌！造成这结果的，又是谁？是人类！人类啊，该醒醒啦！这么多年了，我们对地球的伤害还不够吗？难道你们就忍心看着一种又一种的动物走向灭亡吗？难道你们就忍心看着一亩又一亩的碧绿的植被变成荒无人烟的沙漠吗？难道你们就忍心看着一条又一条的河流断流吗？难道你们就忍心看着一条又一条举世闻名的大瀑布渐渐地消失在你们的面前吗？……

答案是：“no！”我们要为自己留下的烂摊子负责！我们要保护地球上的一草一木，一花一河……我们要保护我们这个唯一的地球！

那就让我们“珍惜自然资源，共营生命绿色”吧！对破坏环境说：“no！”

现在的人类为了满足自己对生活的更高要求，不断污染环境。所以环境所回报我们的，只有对我们身体有害的东西，比如造成了“温室效应”。

“温室效应”，是人们借用花房温室繁殖花卉、种植农作物的经验而定义的一个名字。太阳通过短波辐射为地球提供热量，地球以长波辐射向外层空间放出热量，这两个过程使地球表面保持基本常定的平均温度。大气中的一些气体，如水汽、二氧化碳、甲烷、一氧化二氮等，出国留学网具有对辐射的选择吸收功能，它们近似于透明的让太阳的短波通过大气进入地球，却把地球向外辐射的长波辐射部分吸收。吸收的热量用于再加热大气和地球表面。

现在大气中污染物质的浓度达到了相当严重的程度，二氧化硫、一氧化氮、甲烷、氟氯烃等温室气体，大量排入空气，导致地球的“温室效应”增强，地球升温。在20世纪，地球升温了整整0。7摄氏度年夏季，科威特首都科威特城，8月18日最高气温达到51摄氏度年9月13日是吉尼斯世界记录大全记载下了利比亚沙漠出现的全球有史以来最高气温——58摄氏度年希腊的热浪造成数十人死亡，同年的中国，因热浪而死亡的人数达到700人，数百万人中暑。

并且“温室效应”的可怕后果是全方位的，农业减产、物种变迁、疾病流行。当然还包括海平面上升。计算机模拟实验表明，当地球气温升高2摄氏度，局部地区会明显变暖。增加4摄氏度以上时，万年冰山融化，极地冰层融解，地球的沿海地区将被淹没。

所以，我们现在要懂得保护地球，如果人类再如此执迷不悟，继续破坏环境，最终受害的还是人类自己！
