Pollution has been a serious problem for a certain time around the world. There are many causes for it. Transportation is the main factor of pollution. When the waste gas from cars is released, the air is polluted. People breathing in the polluted air can develop respiratory disease. Another factor is that people throw their garbage everywhere. 鲫鱼求救

庄周家境贫穷。一次，他去监河侯那里借粮食，监河侯说：“好吧!等到年底，我收到了老百姓的税金时，就借给你三百金，行吗?”

庄周一听，气得脸色都变了，但是他却对监河侯讲了这样一件事情：我昨天来时，半路上听到‘救命’的呼喊声。我回过头来，看见干涸的车沟里有条小螂鱼。

我走过去，问它： “小娜鱼，你为什么喊救命?”

小鲤鱼回答说：“我是东海龙王的臣子，不幸落到这里。您能够给我一些水来救我活命吗?”

我说：“好吧!我正好要去南方游说吴国和越国的国王，那我就请他们激起西江的大水来迎接您，可以吗?”

卿鱼听了，气得不得了，说：“我失去了常跟我在一起的水，就无法生存下去了。现在，我只要得到一些水，就能够生存下去;你却说出这样的话。好吧，你不如趁早到咸鱼店里去找我吧!”

人们常说：“保护环境，从我做起。”但是，全球环境不断恶化的事实却还不能改变，这到底是为什么？

近些年来，全世界人民所面临的环境问题不计其数，气候变暖、森林锐减、大气污染、土地沙漠化……，人类和各类动植物的生存环境都受到了极大的威胁。

先说说气候变暖问题吧。全球的气温在不断的升高，至使南极和北极的冰川消融，海水水平线不断上升，海面这一上升，便可将一些小形岛屿淹没，如此下去，还会有许多海拔低的地区先被淹没，造成人类生存史上的大劫难。另外，冰川消融又会使南北极的一些在冰川上生活的动物无法生活，最后遭到灭绝。

可怕的还远远不止这些，森林的锐减会使土地荒漠化，又会使许多动物无家可归，加速灭绝。唇寒齿亡，人类和动物有着那么多千丝万缕的联系，所以这就是等于在破坏生物链，破坏我们自己的生存空间。

我国的生态环境也不容乐观，全国已有2/3的河流被污染，1000多万公顷农田被沙漠化，渔业和城市污染也在不断加剧，工业发达城镇附近的水域受到的污染程度尤为突出，情形令人忧心。

所以，我们大家应该从现在做起，从自我做起，一起来保护环境，一起来爱护地球。首先，我们要从小事做起，节约每一滴水，不要乱扔垃圾，停止制造白色污染，不能随意排放污水，同时，还要多种树木，停止破坏有限的森林资源，。不让土地沙漠化或者减少土地沙漠化的速度及程度。只有这样，地球才可能绿意葱茏，我们居住的环境才能越来越好。否则，日益恶化的环境将使用我们人类在其他领域所取得的一切成就全部黯然失色。

同学们，严峻的环境形势迫使我们不得不做出选择：是任其环境随意被破环，还是从现在开始保护环境？毫无疑问，我们应当刻不容缓的选择后者。因为，保护环境也就是在保护我们的生命。

家乡绍兴原来不但水多，而且名人也有很多，被毛泽东主席成为“鉴湖越台名士乡”。但是因为现在人们随意破坏水资源，有些本来是清澈见底的水，现在已经变成了污水、废水。有些游客总是怀着好奇新来到绍兴，他们好奇的是：绍兴的水到底会有多清、多澄澈？但来到绍兴后，那份好奇一下子全没了，在他们眼前的竟然也是浑浊的河水，这就是随意破坏水资源的后果，使游客对我们绍兴的美好印象减少几分。这只是我们的一个缺点。我们生活中需要水，并不说明我们可以大量的浪费水，因为世界上可饮用水只占了百分之几而已。从此时此刻开始，我们要节约水，保护水。虽然我们的力量微小，但是如果全市人民都一起行动，那么，这力量就会变得很大很大。当我们看到有市民在破坏水资源时，我们要上前劝告，阻止。不止要保护水，我们还要一同来保护周围的绿化，树提供给了我们氧气，让周围的空气变得更加清新；花为周围的环境变得更加美丽吸引人；小草，你可别看它微小，它不怕风吹和雨打，总是坚强的立在那，有句古诗提到“野火烧不尽，春风吹又生。”他那种不屈的精神，值得我们学习。植物是有灵性的，我们不要去破坏它，伤害它。当我们在公园里的时候，不要为了一时的顽皮，去踩踏花草，也不要去砍伐树木，他们都在默默的奉献给人们生活环境的需要，我们以该感谢它们，不该去破坏它们。
