“文”是对应“武”而言的，两者都是讲人和人，机构和机构，阶层和阶层，民族和民族，国家和国家之间的关系——“武”是丛林法则，谁拳头大谁说了算，大家对抗，而“文”则是不妨大家坐下谈一谈，“文”的本意里有纪录双方诚信的意思，就比如我们现在说签个合同，签个条约之类，大家合作;总之武是摧毁，文是建设。

所以文明不过就是“文”的那一部分比较明显，至少多过“武”的部分，也就是文明更愿意建设而非摧毁。因此每天喊打喊杀的，大体不能算文明人。

孔夫子说“郁郁乎文哉”，就是说“文”是发展、生长、具有亲生命性的，因此孔子才会“制礼”——“礼”的本质是要人们克制“武”的倾向，所谓“克己复礼”，也就是通过“礼”来规范人的行为举止以达到“文”的目的。

为了让人能够更好滴遵“礼”，孔子还强调说要通过“作乐”来调整改变一个人的状态，这样他就能很好滴达成“克己”。比如音乐可以让人平静下来，也可以让人振奋起来。此所谓中国的“礼乐文明”，很有建设性。

我们现在经常看到说什么“文明入侵”/“文明的冲突”那都是不准确的，如果说文明总是这么具有侵略性，那么这个文明一定是不会长久的，也就是缺乏韧性的。

我中华民族上下五千年，其间分裂、战争远多于承平之时，异族外强入侵占领亦有之，为何能依然屹立不摇，不似其他文明古国到如今只成为断壁残垣、历史追忆?这种韧性的根源也就在于我们文化中“礼乐文明”强调文而不非武的内核本质。

再观今日之世界，二战之后建立的全球文明体系正可能受到严重威胁，国家之间出现逆全球化趋势走向对抗，地区之内利益愈发难以平衡走向分裂，宗教冲突、种族冲突、贫富冲突，各种极端思潮走上前台，“文”在消退，“武”在滋长。

人类历每一次文明浩劫都是因为“武”上台压制了“文”。这一次，能否坚持文明的韧性可能对全世界都很重要!

尤其是我们中国自己!

杯子里先放了一块体积和它差不多大小的石头，石头与杯子的缝隙可以容纳沙子，当石头、沙子装满杯子，男孩根据沙子吸水、水能渗透沙子的科学规律，又在已经放满石头、沙子的杯中注入水。这样，从最初杯子空间被石头占据，进而被沙子、石头占据，最后被水、沙子、石头这几样“特性”鲜明的物质混合充满。

石头、沙子、水，这三种特征鲜明、特性互补的物体可以充满一个空杯子，但前提必须是先放石头，再放沙子，最后放水。故事中，当老师打破这个顺序和规律，先放沙子、水，并考问学生如果再想让石头也装进杯子里“该怎么放？”。结果，刚才那个充分发挥自己想象力的男孩，没有中老师的“套”。“男孩就把杯子里的沙子和水倒出来，先把石头放进去。”

男孩的举动，表面上看很简单。不就是重复第一次的做法步骤吗？为何刚才那个极具想象力极有创新意识的男孩，这回“走老路”，循规蹈矩了呢？这样的疑问正是故事想要给予读者的启示。套用一个流行述语，石头―沙子―水，最大限度的添满了杯子的空间。事实上，真正充满空杯子的是男孩的科学想象力，而男孩的科学想象力是建立在对物体特征充分把握、物质特性充分利用的基础上，建立在对科学占据空间的规律的基础上。这里的“科学占据空间”其实就是“全面、协调、可持续发展”的科学发展观在一次物理小实验的中的成功运用。

当老师先放石头时，第一次问学生满了吗，这个男孩说没满，还可以放沙子。假如第二个被补充到杯子里的不是沙子而是水，会怎样呢？可想而知，石头、水“充满”的杯子是无法再补充沙子的，已经“满了的”杯子因为补充的沙子会使得杯中的水溢出。

一个空杯子，当人们发挥主观能动性、发挥科学想象力，遵循“石头、沙子、水”的顺序，遵循物质特性派生的科学规律，我们就能够让杯子的空间得到最丰富的充满。反之，如果不顾事物与事物之间产生影响关联所固有的规律，只一味地想当然的“添满”，不仅达不到预想目的，而且会适得其反。

小小杯中折射的“科学发展观”，不也值得人类在工农业发展、环境保护、城市扩张的大课题上反思吗？为什么马路越修越宽而交通却越来越堵塞？为什么高层小区越建越密而人们的精神家园却越来越空虚？为什么太湖巢湖水质在科技发达的今天污染越来越严重？事实证明，“发展”不能不顾生态平衡，遵循科学规律才能发挥物质特性的潜能，否则就会事倍功半，甚至遭到“文明的惩罚”。

我永远忘不了那一个美丽的秋天，当叶子像蝴蝶落下的时候，母亲走进了校园。

她是第一次到学校来看我，提着一个小布包。

我已经有两个星期没有回家了。也许是学习太累，也许是在外面玩得野了，忘记了我还有一个家，忘记了还有一个牵挂我的母亲。

当时我正在上课，她微笑着出现在教室门口，穿着一件旧衣服，喊着我的小名。众目睽睽之下，我满脸羞红走出了教室。

“儿子，上课累了吧？”妈妈微笑看着我。

“你怎么来了？”我有些愠怒地看着她。

妈妈一时愣住了，眼里闪过一丝不安，随即又释然地说：“你好久没回家，我不知道你发生了什么事。臭小子，到底怎么了？这几天一直担心。”

我一句话也说不出来。

她还是微笑着，一脸的褶子。妈妈从蓝色小布包里拿出三样东西，一包是用白线扎紧的水果糖，而另一包，却是一瓶用水果罐头瓶盛着的咸菜。我们老家平日里是不吃咸菜的，妈妈也从未做过。这是我第一次看到这么精致的咸菜，心里不禁掠过一丝愧疚。最后她从书包最里面掏出一本旧书，扑打了一下尘土，说：“这是你爸爸喜欢看的书，也许你会喜欢看。”

我接过东西，看了妈妈一眼，说：“你走吧，我要回去上课了！”妈妈有些不舍，看我为难的样子，过来摸了一下我的头，就背转身，向汽车站走去，不时地回头看我。我呆呆地站在原地，又一次后悔说了魔鬼一般的话，妈妈心里一定很失落。一阵风吹过，树上掉下几片叶子，妈妈的背影越来越远，那么贫穷，那么瘦小，那么单薄……

我终是没有好好读那本书，将它放在皮箱的最底层。

又是好几个秋天过去了，妈妈一声不响地离开了我们，再也没有回来。我在家整理那些旧物，就在大衣柜的最底层，有一块红布包裹的东西。打开一看，就是那本我没有来得及看的旧书，是高尔基的《母亲》。

我坐在地上，一页一页看下去，一直到天色慢慢黑了下来。

我起身拉亮电灯，镜子里，自己是满眼的泪水。

母亲，母亲，你不正是一本没有来得及阅读的旧书吗？年少轻狂的我们，不懂它的价值，只是随手把它放在角落，任尘土覆盖。等到我们渴望阅读的时候，你已经永远不在了。

我的母亲！

我不是个勇敢的孩子。我害怕困难，我害怕前路的茫然，还害怕面对前路的艰辛，

特别是在自己有不好感觉的时候，选择逃避。我害怕面对没有方向感的世界，我害怕失去自我。

我总是会在事情快要有结果的时候，

我总是想学着去坚强，可是坚强并不是那么容易的一件事。坚强总不是我想象的那样子坚强，它并不是两个字，它并不是一种心情，它不是一时的冲动就能完成的事情。我觉得它好难。我曾经尝试着去做，可是最终我还是失败了。我还是放弃了。虽然事情总是以失败而告终，虽然事情总是以放弃而结束，但是我并没有很轻易的说出不。搜虽然不是个勇敢的孩子，可是我也不是轻易放弃的孩子。我的放弃总是在挣扎了之后才做出的决定。

请你不要以为，在你坚强了之后就一定是彩虹，就一定是美丽的世界在等着你，人并不是会事事都顺心，我们照样会面临失败，我们照样会面临痛苦，我们照样会面对哭泣，只是在我们失败在我们痛苦在我们哭泣之前，你要尽量争取。

或许，我是个失败的孩子，我是个还没有长大的孩子。所以我的世界总是失败比较多。不管我努力了多少，我的失败率总是会有70%。

可是那天之后，我觉得，我的生活不该是这样子的，我的生活也不应该是失败的，我的生活也该是五颜六色的。我也权利我也有能力去争取彩虹的。

生命真的很脆弱。大自然两分钟的颤抖，我们就面临生离死别，我们就开始人心惶惶，我们就开始不知所措，我们的大地就是一阵阵的慌乱。

同样，生命也是很坚强的。废墟中的可乐男孩，为了有活着意志力的看书女孩，那个废墟中锯掉双腿才被拯救出来的女孩，经历了几天几夜还能被解放军战士救出来的人们，如果面对着眼前的废墟，看着周围的黑暗世界，他们放弃了生的意志力，那么他们活着吗?他们还有生存的希望吗?

经历了那天，我渐渐的明白，我好像不再是个小孩了，我该做的事情还有很多，我不该那么轻易的说放弃，很多事情我要是再咬咬牙，我也是可以看见彩虹的，我也是可以看见美丽的火光的，可是我总是在最关键的时候犹豫了。尽管我的犹豫也是经历了思考的，可是要是我在思考一下，再好好的想一想，我的周围也会有美丽的奇迹出现的，我的彩虹也在不远处的。我错过了很多次看见彩虹的机会了。

错过的是永远不会再来的，眼前的还在，我要抓住现在，对眼前的事情不要轻易说不了，我要用心的去坚持，我应该用尽自己全身的力量去争取。还是那句，经历了风雨不一定见彩虹，可是不经历风雨就一定不会看见彩虹。

“一屋不扫，何以扫天下”，说到这句话，就应不少人都明白，但就是，谁能真正的做到。

不错，就是他——查理·贝尔，他就是曾任麦当劳的执行总经理。但就是，在这辉煌成就的背后隐含了多少的辛酸苦辣。在1976年，15岁迫于生计的他，来到麦当劳求职，他找到店长，请求给他一份工作，由于贝尔营养不良，店长委婉的拒绝了他。

店长没有预料到，贝尔几天后又来到了店里，说不要工资，只要有吃喝就行。贝尔小声说道：‘’老板，我看到你们那里的厕所的状态好象不就是很好，要不我来打扫厕所吧!‘’老板很无奈，所以就勉勉强强的答应了。

扫厕所，在一般人眼中都就是被鄙视的，认为就是没有出息的工作。然而，贝尔确认为就是他人生事业的一块最坚实的基石。

他每一天清晨都就是店员中起得最早的，每隔一段时光维持一次，他还在厕所中摆放一些花草，让顾客欣赏，并贴上一些警示语。不久，顾客向店长反应，说到厕所的状态大有改观。有些人甚至说这儿的厕所比那些不太讲究的餐馆还干净。

经过三，个月的观察后，店长正式的录用了贝尔，并且安排他去理解正规的职业培训。就在贝尔19岁那年，他被提升为澳大利亚最年轻的店面经理。

功名成就的贝尔在理解各媒体的采访的时侯，贝尔把自我的事例一一讲述给记者听。这不在显摆自我有多么的了不起，而就是为了让后人更好的去学习他。贝尔说：“一个人做一件事，既然开始做了，就因该一心一意的做，而不能三心二意，做出一番事业来。”就这样，从麦当劳一个扫厕所的，到成为之后澳大利亚最年轻的店面经理。正因为他的事例，也激励了成千上万的后人，创造出许多辉煌成就。

就是啊!正因为他对工作一丝不苟的态度，才成就了他毕生的辉煌成就。在这个世界，每一分收获都需要付出艰心和努力，不努力即使侥幸得到了成功，那也不会长久。所以，请牢记：人只有脚踏实地，才能获得真正的成功。

在风雨中成长

雨水哗哗的冲刷，我身边逝去的景，却冲刷不掉身边的一株野草，我犹如它一般在风雨中，梦想在我心中，无法磨灭。我知道，我一直在风雨中成长

曾经的功名和成绩，曾经的努力和收获，是否早已命中注定一扫而空。我不忍面对事实——这一次，我真的失败，不甘心，却又担心难扳回一筹，如云一般痛彻心扉。

学习是一场没有硝烟的战争，倘若你没有足够多的知识来武装自己，那么你必定会成为它的牺牲品。我坚信我不是其中一个，我欲与雄鹰，在天空中翱翔，飞向属于我的阳光。考试失利，我已无法挽回：高手如云，还未进入中考，就已打退堂鼓，成了落榜单上的一个刺眼的名字。

一个人灰溜溜的走出教室，心中还是那一把把红叉，深深地刺痛我心。瞬间，阳光不再明媚，灰暗洒落天空撑起一把伞，笼罩我忧伤的心情，望着这世界，我摇晃不定，注定莫一刻就会跌倒。顷刻泪水，花落我脸颊，化作天边雨滴，嗒嗒落下。风伴着雨，吹过我红热的颜，寒意绵绵。

风在讥讽，雨在嘲笑，灰暗的世界不给我带来阳光。放眼望去，却有一株引人瞩目的生命。

风雨中，野菊不屈不挠，在摇曳着。不论风如何吹刮，无论雨怎欺压，它都坚定自己的使命，蒂固自己的理想。它相信，终有一天，它的使命得以完成，它的梦想得以实现。它从不争做“百花”，也不抱有蒲公英飞翔的期待。他只有一个平凡的梦想：它绝不退缩，而要勇往直前，做生活的强者，在风雨中成长

小小的生命力都具有如此顽强的精神，我又有何由不从之?十四年的春秋，都曾在风雨中度过，失败又有何妨!

人生的路途还很遥远，我从起点出发，已坚持了多少年华，绝不能半途而废，要走就一定要坚持到底，去实现我心中不同凡响的理想。人生冏途既然避免不了风雨，逃脱不了失败的缰绳，那我们何不试着用积极的心态来面对，相信命运由你自己主宰。终有一天，缰绳会被你割断，阳光会迎面而来。
