屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节的活动可真多啊!

我家的咪咪是一条小狗，它长得挺好看的，圆圆的小脑袋上一对小巧玲珑的耳朵，身上的毛像雪一样白，摸上去软乎乎的。我和妈妈带咪咪出去散步，它一路小跑，毛毛蓬蓬松松的，就像绽放的昙花，路人看了都停下来看，忍不住啧啧称赞。冬天的时候，我从寒气逼人的室外跑进家里，第一件事就是抱起咪咪，把冰冷的双手插到它又长又密的绒毛下，一会儿小手就暖和和的了！妈妈见了笑着说：“心怡，你的‘暖宝宝’真可爱！”

咪咪既不喜欢吃素的，也不喜欢吃荤的。有一次，咪咪的肚子饿了，我拿来青菜和肉，它却怎么也不吃，我也没办法。我的肚子也饿了，就从冰箱里拿来一根玉米味的火腿肠，没想到，咪咪一看，就冲我“汪汪”叫起来，好像在说：“小主人，你在吃什么？”我就喂给它吃了一小截，吃完后，它水汪汪的眼睛仍然盯着我手中的火腿肠，我只好把剩下的一大截扔给它吃，没想到它狼吞虎咽，一下子就吃进去了，看它那一点儿也不淑女的狼狈样，真是哭笑不得！吃完火腿肠，它就心满意足地回自己的小“单间”了。休息够了，它还会舔舔身上的毛毛，像小猫咪洗脸一样，“打扮”一番后，它大摇大摆地走出去玩了，难道它是要到其它狗狗们面前去显摆吗？呵呵！咪咪还是爱臭美的小狗狗呢！

咪咪洗澡时可乖啦！我调好了水温后，咪咪就欢快地跑过来，然后自己跳进水盆里，当我和爸爸帮它洗澡澡时，它舒服地闭上眼睛，洗完了，乖乖地让我给它吹干毛毛，哈哈，毛毛又变得棉花糖一样了！

我和小狗不可以分开。有一次小狗把院里的菜挖了，奶奶说：把它扔了吧，把它留在家里没什么好处，而且还净办坏事。我便说：不行。奶奶说：不行也得行。我便哭了起来。奶奶说：好啦好啦，不扔了，我最受不了这个啦！
