我迅速吃好早饭，催着妈妈去买凉鞋。妈妈也很快把早饭吃好了。两个人收拾了一下，就准备出门去了。这时，我家里的电话铃声响了起来。我想最好立刻停止，或者没有什么事情，千万不要是妈妈厂里有事的电话。我看到妈妈走过去接了电话边听边说：好，好，我马上就过来！完了，我买凉鞋的事情又要泡汤了！真是气死我了！我的小嘴已经高高翘起。妈妈走过来对我说：玲玲呀，没有办法，老板叫我马上去加班，凉鞋改天去买，好吗？我心里在说，有什么好不好的，还用问，答应最好，不答应也得答应呀。妈妈没有再跟我说话，飞一样地跑出门骑上摩托车就走了。我叹了一口气说：老妈，你怎么对工作这样负责呀！

“妈妈”是个多么亲切的称谓!我的妈妈是个医务工作者。她身材娇小、皮肤白皙，有一双水汪汪的大眼睛，可以算得上是个大“美女”，哈哈!

妈妈护士的工作很辛苦，但她是个敬业的人，对病人像对自己的亲人一样，深受病人的一致好评。

但在我眼里妈妈是个既严厉又慈爱的人。可怜天下父母心，妈妈总是有为我操不完的心。有一次老师让我们打印作文。妈妈刚上完夜班，正在休息，而且那天正下着大雨，妈妈不顾自己的疲惫，冒着瓢泼大雨就冲出了家门。最让我记忆犹新的是有一次，我发高烧，而且无论如何都退不下去。模模糊糊中，我看见妈妈把我裹得严严实实，用她瘦小的身躯背起我往医院跑。总算到了医院，妈妈放下我，又开始跑起来，给我挂号、配药……那一刻，我深深地感受到了母爱是多么伟大呀!第二天早上，我醒来，就看见妈妈陪在我身边，目光里充满了疲惫，看起来好像一夜未眠。顿时，一股暖流涌上心头，我想对妈妈说“妈妈，您辛苦了。”但话到嘴边又咽下了。但是，如果我犯了错误，妈妈也会毫不留情，非常严厉。最可怕的处罚是我不能到爷爷奶奶家去玩，唉!

妈妈，你为了我，不顾一切，却不喊一声累，女儿在这里对您说声：“我爱您!”
