家铭，当你看到这封信的时候，已经离第三次月考没多久了。不可否认，一进入初三，你比以前更加努力了;但离中考确实很近了，也就一百多天。我不知道未来一百多大的日子里，你还要经历些什么，不过既然已经跋涉了快九年，但我也希望你在未来的一百多天里要拼尽全力。希望你在这一段时间你平静自己的心，即便自己不是绝顶聪明。也要相信勤能补拙。请不要轻言放弃，就象我们一起看篮球比赛，不到最后一秒，也很难说谁赢定了。请你相信付出必有回报，跌跌撞撞才是生活，你要把每次失败当成下一次成功的路基。只要坚持，你就会取得进步，那样的时候你不要放松，因为你放慢的时候，别人并没有，你进步的原因是你落下了很多。所以，别人在走的时候你要跑，别人跑起来的时候，你必须加速。你没有资本去琢磨"王者荣耀"。用手机和别人闲聊。将来你长大了，成才了，有更多有趣的，高品质的生活方式在等着你。我们小的时候，“滚铁环”最有趣，现在还有谁在玩那种游戏。现在轻松了，将来就轻松不起来。现在“优雅”了，将来就难“优雅”起来。干别人不愿意干的粗活，累活，还的看别人的脸色，受气，没有好的报酬，被迫谋生。如果现在都“火烧眉毛”还不停下来用功学习，只会毁了你自己。

亲爱的孩子，你知道你的父母没有显赫的背景，没有能为你铺出一条康庄大道，你不要怪我们，因为你没有其他选择，对你而言，通往未来的路只有一座叫“中考”的“独木桥"。而这一条路只能靠你自己披荆斩棘?，你要知道你所做的一切不是为了任何人，只是为了你自己。孩子，如果你要问我们家的“传家宝”是什么?我现在就告诉你——“一切靠自己”我和你妈妈都是在二十多岁离开四川和重庆，没有熟人，没有靠山到新疆谋生。我们就是秉着“一切靠自己”这个信念。我也知道你的爷爷也是独自一人到四川阆中成家立业。如果你还想知道爸爸的人生格言，我也告诉你——“种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆”。种下去的是玉米，绝对涨不出一个大西瓜来。如果你种下去是希望，将来必定成功。如果光阴虚度，将来你能干什么，答案早就有了，不用等将来。

亲爱的的孩子，做任何事情都有他的方法和窍门，希望你能掌握正确的学习方法，不断提高学习效率和效能。一张罗盘，无论多么精准，也不可能手捧着它，就能到达大洋彼岸;一幅图纸，无论多雄伟，也不可能眼看着它，就能成为高楼大厦;一本秘笈，也不可能口诵着它就能练出盖世神功。只有行动，罗盘。图纸。秘笈都是无本之木，无源之水。只有行动，才能把一切付诸现实。今日事，今日毕，养成独立自主的习惯。做事要有计划;没有计划，人就会闲着，无所事事，打不起精神。有了计划，人就会精神倍增，做事就有了激情，有了激情才会产生智慧的火花，做事才有效率。这会儿学语文，语文完了学数学，数学完了背单词，单词完了学历史。这是一个比方，具体的计划要根据实际情况制定。知道要好好学习、就制比较周密的计划——有了周密的计划并执行——这就会学好，这是一个良性循环。

孩子，请不要埋怨父母的无能，“一切靠自己”。将来的时代，知识更新快，文明长度高，干啥都得有文化。当父母没文化，教育孩子都会闹笑话。到那时你从事何种职业，如何谋生，谁都帮不了你，决定现在“十字路口”的你。孩子，加油。

您教我们数学课已经有整整一年了。在今年教师节即将到来之季，我想对您说：“老师，您辛苦了!!!”

在过去的一年里，当我遇到数学难题时，您给了我鼓励和帮助;当我产生骄傲情绪和做了不对的事情时，又是您及时对我进行批评和教育，这学期我在数学中取得的一些进步都和您的帮助分不开，您的教诲将在我以后的数学学习将起到指导作用。在这儿我先向您说一声：“谢谢您，我的老师!”

老师，您的数学课上得的确很好，思路清晰。但是，我还是向您提出一点小小的建议，希望您接纳。老师，我知道您的身体不是特别好，请您不要为我们累坏了您的身体，请您多注意休息，我们还希望您一直教到我们初中毕业。另外还希望您课下给我们留一至两道数学难题，让我们的数学学得更加灵活、巩固。

I’m Li Hua from Class One, Senior Two. As far as I am concerned, I believe to teach English for pupils from Chen Xi Hope School will be good for both the primary-school students and high-school student tutor, which thus will result in substantial social benefits.

I think I am qualified for being the pupils’ English coach, because I have good character, being independent in life and proficient in English. That’s why I apply for the position; I hope I can join the instructive activity.

在我们认识的这一个学期里面，我能深深的感受到您非常爱我们，我初来乍到，升成四年级的时候，我还不认识您，我正在努力的熟悉身边的人，您也在慢慢的接受我们。

您的身高并不是很高，我一踮脚就可以和你平视了，仔细一看您的头上也有几根头发，但是看到您在讲台上卖力讲课的样子。让我的小宇宙无限爆发，您不但要教我们的语文，还要负责整个班级的工作，您从早到晚不停忙碌，有些男生很淘气，但是您还是耐心的引导他们。

同学们一旦遇到了不会的问题，您也会认真的给他们讲解。提高我们的学习成绩还有我们的口语才能，这样我们的语文成绩才会提高。

那浓浓的眉毛横卧在脸上，那深邃的眼睛总是散发着智慧的光芒，那不大不小的嘴巴能说会道。这就是我们的“双面”陈老师。

陈老师时而严厉，时而温柔。被我们称为双面老师。

课堂上，陈老师非常严厉。记得那是一场考试后，陈老师抱着一沓厚厚的试卷来到教室门口，热闹的教室立刻变得鸦雀无声。陈老师快步走上讲台，把考试卷往讲台上一扔，空气中顿时弥漫着暴风雨来临的气息，同学们个个吓得面如土色。陈老师终于发话了：“这次考试，虽然有些同学考得很不错，但是，有些同学因为学习态度不端正，粗心大意……“说着说着，老师的声音越来越大，脸色越变越沉，头发气得竖起来，活像一只刺猬。他用"一阳指"指着我，用“狮吼功“吼道：”你怎么这么马虎?把1看成7，把7看成1，把试卷拿回去，错题写三遍。"老师那雷鸣般的吼声贯穿我的耳膜，吓得心儿怦怦跳。

课后，陈老师非常温柔。也经常带领我们做游戏，踢毽子，跳皮筋，丢沙包……这些都是他的拿手好戏，看着他和我们一起奔跑、嬉戏……我觉得陈老师十分和蔼。有时，我们犯错了，他也不发脾气，反而细细地给我们讲解;有时，我们做事缺乏自信时，老师又会鼓励我们……

总之，陈老师是一个让我们欢喜又害怕的"双面”老师，正是因为这样，我们学习更认真了，也渐渐懂得哪些事是会惹老师生气的，哪些时候是会得到老师的鼓励和赞许的，也越来越能明辨是非了。

Dear Sir,

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?
