People are enjoying the comfortable life of the modern civilization,

meanwhile, they are also experiencing more and more competitions and suffering

much more stress than before.With the tremendous rhythm of living imposed by

todays world, it isnt unusual for people to feel tired and to try to evade from

the daily problems and stress. I think that there is no magic way that is

appliable to every one of us, and proves itself the most efficient method of

escaping stress. Each man has his specific activities that help him regain the

joy of life. For me the best activities to reduce stress and to forget about

problems are sleeping,playing football, going on a short vacation to the

countryside, attending live performances and spending time with my friends and

with my family.

First and foremost, sufficient sleep, needless to say, is indispensable for

each person, especially those encountering difficulties and suffering enormous

stress. There is no denying that sleep could bring the body sufficient rest,

modulate the function of each organ and release the body from stressful status.

Whats more, sufficient sleep would enable the brain operate more swiftly and

efficiently, thus making us more energetic to handle difficulties. Therefore,

not only could sleep loose the fatigue of the physical body, but also release

the mental stress.

What is more, I think that family is the most important thing in a mans

life. They are always there when you need them. Family provides support when you

need it most, helps you go through the difficult moments of your life.The most

important of all, their love for you gives you confidence in yourself, and makes

your life easier and a lot more beautiful. Friends also have an important role,

because you can evade from concerns by going out with them, talking about things

that are not related to your work, and sharing with them your problems and your

acheivements.

同学们你们听过“抢橡皮”的游戏吗？今天，我在快乐魔方课堂上就玩了这个有趣的游戏。

首先介绍规则：一张桌子上放一块橡皮，老师请两个同学上来，听老师的口令做动作，比比谁的反应更快。比赛前两个同学一定要双手交叉放在胸前，如果老师说三、二、一、右手，你却出了左手，那你就输了，反之那你就赢了。比赛分成两组，如果参加比赛的人赢了，就可以奖5个大拇指，他所在那组的同学，也可以每人奖3个大拇指。如此有趣的游戏又能赚大拇指，所有的同学都跃跃欲试，迫不及待要参加。

比赛开始了，我们组派出了聪明伶俐的刘钰锦同学，他大步流星地走上台去，他和他的姐姐比赛，我们都忐忑不安，担心他会输，这样我们就得不到大拇指了。当老师说预备时，我们所有人的眼神都目不转睛地盯在了那块小小的橡皮上，三、二、一，右手，刘钰锦凭借他敏捷的动作快速地抢到了橡皮。顿时我们欢呼雀跃，一个个都开心的笑了，我们不停地为他加油打气，接下来的连续两次，都是他赢了。我们组最终获得了胜利。

“抢橡皮”游戏不仅要眼疾手快，还要团结一心。我们今天开心极了，这真是一堂有趣的游戏课啊！

About myself: I left school at 16 because I wanted to earn a bit of money. After that I got a few part-time jobs as a waiter, etc. But I didnt stick to any of them for long. Recently Ive been doing a bit of hitch-hiking round Europe so Ive had some experience of traveling the hard way which should come in handy on the expedition youre planning. 上一星期我们学校举行了拔河比赛，我也在其中，这还真是一场激烈的比赛啊!

同学们昂首挺胸进了赛场，比赛是一局定胜负，比赛还没开始，大家的双手像钳子一样紧紧的握着麻绳，身体轻轻向后倾斜。

啊，多么棒，多么刺激的拔河比赛啊，这个场景让我久久不能忘怀。

Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results. I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief. I did much better than I thought I would.

We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find "real people" as well as teenagers to talk to.

The party starts at half past six- drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that youve given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives.

寒假的一天

It was a very busy evening, I was doing my homework at my home. My father

was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in

Shanghai opera. She was watching a Shanghai opera contest. The apartment was

very quiet. Suddenly the light went out. It was a blackout, but I liked it very

much. It came and I didnt have to do my homework. We went to the living room

very slowly.

After 5 minutes, we all sat in the sofa. It was a lucky, fortunate day. I

said that lets held a concert. My parents agreed with me. I took out some

candles and lighted up. We were singing, laughing and talking. We had a really

good time. But while I was singing, the light suddenly turned on. Oh, my God. My

father went back to his room went on writing.

My mother turned on the TV and said to me “Dear, do your homework!” I felt

very frustrated. I sat at the desk and thought I hated light. I hoped there

would be a blackout the ne_t day. I thought I would enjoy myself more and more.

I went into a dream.

我以前不知道什么叫团结就是就是力量。当我经历了那件事情以后，就渐渐懂得了这个道理。

有一天下午第三节课，老师突然对我们说：“今天，我们要和二班的进行拔河比赛，大家有没有信心赢啊？”霎时，同学们不约而同地喊出了一声“有”，老师会意地笑了。

我们排成一排，我站在队伍的后面，在我的后面，还有力气非常大的世仁和达良。我得意洋洋地笑了，因为我心想：有世仁和达良在，我们班稳操胜券了。当然，我这也只是猜测而已，比赛还没开始呢，我怎么会下定论呢？

不一会儿，老师拿出了一条长绳，中间系着一条红巾。比赛规则很简单，看哪队能够把红巾拉向他们那队，就算那队赢。比赛就要开始了，我们个个都信心十足。当老师喊“开始”的时候，我们就用力往后拉，我不小心踩到世仁的脚，他生气了，也踩了我一脚，我们彼此互相踩来踩去的，没留神，红巾被二班的拉走了。第一局输了。

同学们都指责我和世仁，我们两个羞愧地低下了头。我们老师走过来了，鼓励我们说：“不要灰心，失败乃成功之母，我们还有机会，只要我们团结一心，就一定能胜利的，你们说对吧！”

我们都应了声。第二局开始了，我们上下团结一致，用力地往后拉。红巾已经往我们这边来了，我们更加用力，有的甚至咬紧牙关。在同学们的同心协力下，我们终于取得了第二局的胜利。

还有最后一局，这一局十分重要，要是我们输了，就再也没有机会了。老师过来对我们说：“这一局，我们一定要像上一局那样，同心协力，知道了吗？”大家不约而同地说了声：“知道了。”

比赛开始了，我们都用力地往后拉，二班的也不甘示弱，他们好像也注意到了这局的重要性，也都用力地往后拉。突然，二班后面的同学发生了争吵，我们班乘虚而入，用力地往后拉，最后，我们班取地了拔河比赛的胜利！我们个个都兴高采烈，神采飞扬。

这次的拔河比赛，不仅给了我一次胜利的喜悦，还让我懂得一个道理“团结就是力量。”

oh! spring in coming.

今年夏天，我到姑姑家去玩，炎热的天气使屋里格外闷热。中午吃过饭后，我决定去书店里看书。

看完书，出了书店，才发现天空不知何时变了脸，阴沉沉的，好像要下雨了。

果不其然，我出书店没多久，天就开始下雨了，我只好在一家服装店里避雨。

服装店里有一对母女在买衣服，她们买好衣服后，看见外面正在下雨，就准备等雨停了再走。

大概过了几分钟，那个母亲好像想起了什么，拿起她的包在里面翻找，当她在包里面翻出一把雨伞时，我才明白，原来她忘记她的包里有一把伞了。于是就准备和她的女儿回家，正当她拿好东西时，她的女儿却说：“妈妈，我们可以现在不走吗?“为什么呢?”她的妈妈问。那个女孩子说：“那边有一个阿姨在扫地，外面在下雨她没有打伞，她会生病的。”我顺着她手指指的方向看去，一个清洁工阿姨在清理一个水渠里的垃圾，水渠里的垃圾有很多，许多塑料餐盒，烧烤棍，冰棒棍，各种麻辣包装袋都卡在里面，还有一些果皮，因为气温高，果皮很容易腐烂，所以不时传来臭气。

雨并没有停下的迹象，反而越下越大，阴冷的风肆虐地刮着，把路边的树叶吹得哗哗地响，竟感到了一丝冷意。

我向那个清洁工看去，她依然在那里掏垃圾，豆大的雨点打在她身上，她的衣服已经湿透，头发已经开始滴水。

服装店里的母亲点了点头，那个小女孩接过她手里的`伞，冒着雨把伞给清洁工送去了。

一会儿，那个小女孩回来了，那个母亲笑着用纸巾帮她擦去脸上的水和衣服上的水。

看着这样的画面，每个人心里都会感到温暖。

没过多久，雨停了，太阳又出来了，阳光温暖着我就像刚才的画面温暖着我的心一样。

周五早上，下了第二节课要去参加英语比赛。虽然准备比较充分但我的心情还是有点紧张。万一过不了预赛怎么办？“叮铃铃，叮铃铃”第二节课下课的铃声响了，我拿起水杯，飞快的向外跑去。

终于到家了，王老师把我送到楼梯口，招了招手：“快进去吧!”说完转身就离去。在他转身的刹那，我看到他才将黑伞撑高，撑过他的头顶，而他那件蓝色的衬衣湿漉漉的，紧紧地贴着背，看到他身体微微发抖，我怔住了。

海洋大王蓝鲸在珊瑚礁举行了第二十届海洋游泳比赛。

这次的参赛选手有美丽的小海豚和扁扁的魔鬼鱼。海洋大王蓝鲸把比赛日期定在一星期后。在这紧张的七天里，海豚开始了夜以继日的训练，而自大的魔鱼却在家里痴心妄想地的说:我肯定是冠军！比赛开始了，海豚和魔鬼鱼都像一个出膛的子弹一样，但由于它实力的偏差，魔鬼鱼一直遥遥领先！赛程已经过半，魔鬼鱼看着触手可及的冠军，于是就故意放慢了速度，心想:游得这么慢，我就游慢点等等你！魔鬼里想着想着，露出了贪婪的笑容。这时，海豚加速，以迅雷不及掩耳之势超过了魔鬼鱼，获得了冠军。

又过了两年，海洋大王蓝鲸在海草湖举行了第二十一届海洋游泳大赛。这次的参赛选手是上一届的冠军海豚和海洋大王蓝鲸的儿子——小蓝鲸。在比赛前小蓝鲸在外面训练，而海豚却在家里天天呼呼大睡，不训练。比赛开始了，海豚故意让小蓝鲸先游，心想:我是上一届的冠军，这一届我肯定志在必得！结果，小蓝鲸成了冠军！小金鱼轻蔑地对海豚说:“有人骄傲了，让别人先游了。”海豚听了这话，伤心的痛哭起来。

小蓝鲸游过来，说:”别哭了，这次只是骄傲占据了你，其实你是可以赢的。下一届我们再一分高下！”海豚听了，立马就不哭，“嗯。”它擦擦眼泪，“下一届我们一分高下！”

The environment has been polluted badly today and the nature punishes the

human being by all kinds of disasters, such as the heavy haze in Beijing, which

damages people’s health. World Environment Day is on June 5th. It pays attention

to call for the public to make an effort to bring the world a clean

environment.

Look at the pollution around us, which exists everywhere. The cars release

the gas which pollutes the air and the rubbish can be found in every corner of

the street. All of these daily incidents hurts the world we live. Especially the

factories, they release the heavy smoke and make the sky becomes dark. What’s

more, the wasted water flows to the clean river.

Though the government has made some action to punish the businessmen for

releasing the polluted sources, they still dare to take the risk of earning the

biggest profit. If we hurt the environment, it will hurt ourselves, because we

live together. The polluted environment threatens our health. If we want to live

the comfortable life, then the only way is to be nice to the environment.

我看书的范围很广，天文地理、童话故事、学习辅导等等的书我都喜欢看，我和书的故事作文。看书也让我明白了不少道理：《窗边的小豆豆》这本书主要讲述了作者从一个在别人眼中是“怪怪”的孩子，经过了新学校的校长的爱护和关心下，逐渐成为了一个让人们都能接受的孩子；《米粒上的花朵》，这本书写了很多篇散文、童话以及讲述道理的故事，这本书让我明白了很多道理；《快乐精灵》。这本书主要讲述了一个名叫罗小卜的孩子，把自己的快乐卖给了一只毛毛虫，从此，他成为了一个拥有一切却不会快乐的人。后来，他看见了会走的大榕树、认识了精灵谷的精灵……后来，终于把他自己的快乐找了回来。从这本书中，我明白了一个道理：快乐虽然不能吃、不能喝、不能换来钱，但是快乐却很重要，不，可以说是极端重要。

记得去年一天傍晚，我放学走在回家的小路上，一边哼着小曲儿，一边欣赏着路上的景色——远处的天空几缕晚霞;或远或近一块块棉花田，有的枝条擎着雪白的花絮，有的托着饱满的棉桃，有的微微绽放或白或红的花朵;一块块稻田，有的在晚霞的映衬下金灿灿的，有的只有一截截稻茬和散落在田里的稻草……

忽然，我发现前面不远处浓烟滚滚，有一个背影匆匆忙忙离开了。等我走近，火势丝毫不减，由于前一天才下过小雨，略带潮湿的稻草，浓烟中夹杂着“哔啵”声。我只好深吸一口气，飞快地冲了过去，可是眼睛却被熏得泪流不止。

一到家，我扔下书包，坐在凳子上一言不发。“哟，怎么眼睛红得跟兔子似的?”妈妈看到我的眼睛通红的，便故意喊道，“是谁欺负我家的宝贝儿子啦?走，找老师评理去!”我急忙拉住了妈妈，把事情的经过仔细地向妈妈说了个清楚。爸爸在一旁愤愤地说：“你知道是谁家烧的吗?我找他算账去!”妈妈也跟着一唱一和：“对，儿子，快说!”

我看着他们俩，很无语。在他们的一再追问下，无奈地说：“是你们烧的，我看到的那个背影像是爸爸……”

顿时，爸爸妈妈脸上的表情很精彩，一阵儿红，一阵儿白。后来，我们聊了很多，从焚烧秸秆给空气造成的危害到引发的火灾，从破坏土壤结构到影响飞机的通航，从对人体的伤害到引发的交通事故……

从那时起，我跟爸爸妈妈就有了个约定：不再焚烧秸秆，让秸秆回家!我希望所有的爸爸妈妈们都能为孩子的未来，留一片洁净的天空。
