if I get more attention from others, I will be very happy. So I start to follow

the models and the movies stars dressing style, then I find that compare to

their skinny bodies, I look like a fat girl. So I have made up my mind to lose

weight. As my body is in the growth period, my parents always ask me to eat

more. When they find me start to eat less, they think I am sick. I tell them

that I want to look beautiful, then my mother says that I am beautiful in her

eyes. If I dont eat, I will look old. I search the Internet. The pictures of

skinny girls scare me, so I give up losing weight. My annoyance is gone, and I

am happy again.

I love my school so much, because of the beautiful environment. The first

day I walk into the school, I am very impressed by the green trees and the

colorful flowers. It seems that I just walk into a park and get lost in the

green world. The trees and flowers make me feel so comfortable, and my heart

feel the peace.

When we are chatting with our friends happily, suddenly if we are talking

about the awkward topic, we need to do something to change this situation, what

are we gonna do? The answer is using your humor to make things seem easy, and

then your friends won’t take your awkward topic seriously. Humor is very

important, it can adjust the atmosphere, making things work easily. Life needs

humor, without humor, life would be boring. Foreign people like to make friends

with humorous people, they can feel relax when they are chatting, while most

Chinese people are always taking things too seriously. I like to make friends

with humorous guys, they make me feel life is easy, and we should positive about

我是一个活泼开朗的女孩，但天生有一副男生的性格。不喜欢妈妈给我梳辫子，不喜欢穿裙子。所以从小我的发型就是自然短发，显得清爽有活力。

我从二年级开始，就接触了一些体育项目，比如说：羽毛球、乒乓球、游泳等，这些项目用爷爷的话来说，已超出11岁女孩的能力，可以跟高中生一比上下。后来，我还学会了滑直排轮。刚开始，我虽然能站起来，但却无法行走，一走起来就摇摇晃晃地，好像只要一阵风吹过，我就会马上摔倒一样。我不怕跌倒，跌倒就爬起来，一点也不怕疼，经过反复练习，终于学会了，就连教练都说不错。

因为我性格外向，所以我会和男生们一起玩。这又是一个无聊的下午，我看见一群男生在小区滑直排轮，便带着直排轮，请求他们让我加入。但他们嫌我是女生，不愿跟我玩，还扬言说只要我滑的比他们中的一个快，就和我一起滑。

他们派了一个长得比我稍高的男生和我比，规定滑三圈，看谁先到终点。比赛开始了，我先超过了那个男生。旁边的男生起哄道：“别勉强了，结束吧！你不行的，认输吧！”我不理他们，尽力甩开后面的人。还剩半圈了，眼看就要被那男生追上来了，我快速地转了个弯，然后冲刺。最后我以比对方快两三米的距离赢得比赛。男生们看得目瞪口呆，为了遵守诺言只好带我玩。

男生们不懂为什么有时我会比他们厉害。那是因为我坚信：女生不比男生差。

今天下午，我到佳世客二楼电影城参加了一场很有意义的飞行棋大赛。参加比赛的人很多，于是阿姨就把我们分成了A、B、C、D四组，我是B组的。

准备开始下飞行棋了，阿姨刚把棋盘拿出来，我就惊呆了，这种飞行棋与我原来下过的有很大的不同：第一，棋盘的格式不同，有点像是走迷宫；第二，棋盘上有好多的陷阱，而我原来下过的飞行棋是没有陷阱的。相对来说，这种飞行棋比我以前下过的飞行棋要难一些。

每一轮比赛都要在七分钟内完成，时间到了离终点近的人将获胜。比赛开始了，先要和跟我年龄一样大的然雪同学下飞行棋，我紧张的满头大汗。终于，我把然雪击败了，我很高兴，而且得到了进入第二轮比赛的资格。第二轮比赛开始了，这次的对手虽然比我小一点，但她轻而易举地就打败了我。虽然我输给了她，但我也没灰心，我还是我们这一小组的亚军呢，而且走的时候叔叔还给了我一把“3D尺”做纪念品。

这次的飞行棋大赛让我得到了很多启示。回到家，我也模仿比赛用的形式自己画了一张飞行棋盘，而且还高兴地和妈妈下了几盘呢！

我生活在这课美丽的大树上，是一片最漂亮的枫叶。一天，我看到脚下的小草探出脑袋，好奇地张望着世界，觉得小草太丑了，不适合在这个世界生存，便自大地说：“小草，你看我金灿灿的，到了秋天会红得像团火焰。而你一年四季都是绿色的，一到秋天就枯萎了，对这个世界有什么用处呢？”小草听了这番话，回答我说：“枫叶姐姐，虽然我一年四季是单调的绿色，但却给大自然增添了一分生机，如果没有我，那大自然就会变得死气沉沉，所有动物都不会有现在那么愉快的生活。”我听了，不屑的瞥了它一眼，继续享受温暖的阳光。

冬天来了，这是我生命中的第一个冬天，也是最后一个冬天，冰雪笼罩着大地，一眼望去，白茫茫的一片，一点生机都没有，绿油油的小草也枯死了，果然像小草说的那样，没有了他们，就不会像别的季节那么美好了。我看看自己，我的皮肤已经没有了原来的红色，变成了难看的咖啡色。寒风“呜呜”刮着，好像在讽笑我：“哈哈，你自己都变得那么丑陋，还在春天时去讥讽小草，哈哈……。”

我意识到了自己的无能，我这才明白：所有人都有优点，但也有缺点，不要去说别人的短处，因为，你自己也有。在寒风把我刮下来的瞬间，我把这行文字永恒地刻在了我的身上。白雪把我淹没，我静静地等待着那个发现我的人……

今天下午，我们早早地来到学校里，因为要举行讲故事比赛。这次我们班有三个同学参加比赛。我激动极了，真想听听大家讲的都是什么有趣的故事！

到了六楼的比赛大厅，我们按顺序坐好，等待着比赛开始。比赛快要开始了，大家都紧张得不会呼吸了，整个大厅里鸦雀无声。

轮到我们的同学丁星妤上台了。丁星妤化了浓浓的妆，橘红色的眼影，造型都快让我认不出她了。但是她一脸镇定，丝毫没有紧张，我真佩服她呀！她给我们讲了一个《驼背小龙虾》。她一开口讲，我就被深深地迷住了。随着她绘声绘色的讲述，我的眼前浮现出了一只活灵活现的小龙虾，它有灵活的八条腿，整天喜欢嘲笑别人。有一次它遇见了一只大海螺，整天嘲笑大海螺，终于受到了很大的教训，变成了一只驼背小龙虾。我看了看旁边的同学，大家都听得入迷了，都痴痴地看着她。

她讲述得太精彩了！她一定会赢的！

过了一会儿，比赛终于结束了。我的屁股都坐痛了，但是我觉得屁股痛还是值得的，我听了这么多有趣的故事！

2019年5月6日星期一晴

我和我的家人有些相像，有些完全不一样，像我就和爸爸一样，很爱花钱，而我哥则和妈妈一样，非常省钱。

首先，我哥哥从小到大，和我都还不错，他脾气很好，不常生气，只有偶尔我把他惹火了，他才会生气，跟我妈妈的个性很像。而且他很乐观，不管发生什么事，他都可以乐观面对，像有一次，他在学校上体育课回来，书包里大部分的东西都被偷了，他仍然乐观面对，一天后就像没这回事发生。

再来是爸爸，爸爸平常脸上总是挂着笑容，待人也不错，个性跟哥哥一样乐观，每一天都过的很快乐。个性大方，常常请客人到家里或餐厅吃饭，而且很爱花钱，常常买吃的、看的、用的回来。

然后是妈妈，妈妈个性比较不乐观，心情比较低落，也比较省钱，偶尔才会买一些东西回来，而且比较严格，常常要求我的成绩之类的，但是开心的时候，身边的人也会突然感到一股快乐的感觉。

至于我，个性比较乐观，却带一点忧郁，有时心情低落，有时心情很好，我就不像爸爸和哥哥他们那么大方了，常常会自己把东西吃掉，平分给他们，而且跟爸爸一样，很爱花钱，只要一抓到机会就会要求买自己想要的东西。

我和家人要一样和不同的地方，如果要说灵魂分析的话，我哥哥的灵魂中一定有乐观、善良以及宽容的成分，妈妈则有努力、细心和勇气的成分，爸爸就是含有大量的乐观、大方、善良……等，至于我则只有少许的乐观、一点点的宽容。

我的读书故事有人说过，读一本好书，就是在和好朋友说话。我爱读书，因为，读书让我快乐，读书让我开心。

以前，我最爱看的书是什么，你能猜到吗？我相信，和我一样大的同学一定能猜到，那就是漫画书！是的，哪有几个孩子能抵挡住漫画的魅力呢？那次，妈妈带我去逛街，我心中打起了小九九，暗笑道：机会来了！等到了书店门口，我挤出一副可怜的样子，央求道：“妈妈，你让我在书店看会书，歇一会吧！”可妈妈还要带着我走，我说：“要不这样吧，我在书店看书，你去买东西，我保证不离开！”妈妈考虑了再三，终于同意了。一钻进书店，我就像一条小虫子钻进了大苹果！我的目光像红外线探测器在迷宫似的书架上放电，突然，我发现了目标——漫画！有《阿衰》、《豌豆》、《猫3狗4》……太棒了，我急忙拿起几本，找了一个角落就如饥似渴地看起来，漫画里的情节太搞笑了，一开始，我还强忍着，用手捂着嘴偷偷地笑，后来，我实在忍不住了，我只好咬着上嘴唇，痴痴的笑！再后来，我就放声哈哈地大笑起来！这下可坏了，只见周围的人都纷纷侧目，我突然意识到自己的失态，可我还是忍不住，傻呵呵地笑了半天，就在这时，我看见书店管理人员向我走来，我急忙坐正，阿姨看看我说：“小朋友，你是自已来的吗，书店有规定，漫画书一律不准看。”说完，不容我辩解，把那几本书都拿走了。唉，当时我的心情真是难以形容，有后悔，有懊恼，还有一种想哭的冲动，可没办法呀，人家不让看呀！突然，我灵机一动，想起了一个好主意，我趁阿姨转身的功夫，“偷”走了一本，重新找了一个隐蔽的地方，开始看起来，心想：我不让你看见不就行了？可我低估了阿姨，一会我就被发现了，我的书啊，又被缴获了，阿姨临走还警告我不能再看了，我这个气呀！可是我还是不死心。我气冲冲地出了这家书店，心想：哼，不让看拉倒！街角还有一家书店，我去那里看去！可是，我遇到了一样的待遇，最后跑了三家书店，终于把那本书看完了，哈哈，所以说做事要持之以恒！我走出第三家书店，发现天已不早，急忙回去等妈妈，谢天谢地，妈妈还没有回来！要是让妈妈知道啦，我免不了挨一顿骂。

这都是我前几年的糗事，那时候小很不懂事，现在，漫画我也偶尔看，但看得最多的还是《水浒传》、《三国演义》，百看不厌。再后来，各类书籍如排山倒海之势涌进我的脑子，不仅丰富了我的词汇，增长了各种见识，作文水平也有了飞跃性的提高，我更喜欢读书了。

The Stilwell Scholarship she founded helps support deserving students from China who have come to the Monterey Institute to pursue professional degrees in translation and interpretation, international policy studies, language teaching and business management.

Different countries have different customs and different ways to celebrate festival. In our China, we have a variety of festivals, of which celebrating way is different. For example, we will eat mooncake in Mid-autumn Festival and have dragon boat races in the Dragon Boat Festival and eat zongzi. But in some extend, we celebrate all the festivals in the same way. Every family will have a big meal with their family. It is a time for family gathering. No matter what kind of celebrating way for a festival, it is the time to enjoy life.

不过，她也有自己的缺点，比如说：马虎。说到马虎，那次她可是吃了大亏。

这节课我们进行语文的综合测验，考卷上有一道题目：“请你在文中找到拟人句与比喻句，拟人句用‘……’画出来，比喻句用‘———’画出来。”题目上已经说的很清楚了，不过她还是用曲线画出了比喻句，直线画出了拟人句。

大家一定很想知道这个同学是谁，其实，她就是于彤!

拔河，每当提起这两个字的时候，大多数人便总会想到那激动人心的场景，但内心的我恐怕只会有期待与沮丧吧！我们曾期待过，但结果又一次的失败；我们曾努力过，但胜利总和我们无缘；我们曾沮丧过，但我们却从未放弃过。

今天，是学校一年一度的拔河比赛，几天前早就在校园里传得“满城风雨”了。在听到消息后，同学们有的兴奋，有的紧张。对我来说简直是五雷轰顶，因为在我们班的内心深处都有一根“刺”，总是深深地一点一滴地增长。可一想毕竟可能是最后一次了，怎么能灭自班威风，长他人志气，说不定有转机，将我们从黑暗拉回起跑线！对，千万不能放弃，六（2）班是最棒的！我对自己说道。

比赛开始了，我们每人带着期望和急切的心情跟着老师来到后操场做准备活动，从老师眼神中可以看出这次对们们抱有很大期望，我们也信心饱满。转眼间，瞥见了死对头六（1）班，我不由想到刚刚杨瑜华的话“你说这次比赛我们两班谁能赢！”这句话久久荡在我心头，这是算关心，还是讥笑，实力强有什么了不起，真让人心里窝火。我发誓一定要反败为胜，一血前耻。

终于到我们班了，第一个对手是五（2）班，他们个个都很壮，实力也很强，让我不由担心起来。但之前交过手，他们败在我们手下，所以同学们都信心满满地进入赛场，仿佛要去干一件神圣的事。双方以最快的速度摆好位置，在口哨声中双方的“战斗”爆发了。可事与愿违，过和中我们都是被动被牵制住了。同学们都掉以轻心了，太轻敌了，身体都不由前进，无法后退。我心里像十五个吊桶--七上八下。完了，输了。手紧着这种局面我有些气馁了，上天都不愿意给我们一次机会？不，不就表面输了一局，还有两局，我们重拾信心，队员们互相鼓励，可最后我们还是败给了五（2）班。

大家失望下场，这一输，把我们的信心全输光了，把我们的勇气也输掉了，大家在一旁埋怨检讨。男生没尽心，地势不利，没太当真……我听着心里酸酸的，有一种想哭的冲动，真的是这样吗？到底是不团结，还是没尽力，错在谁？后来上场前林老师苦口婆心的将我们训斥一通，是啊，无论做什么事，怎么能轻言放弃呢？

接着，我们又和六（1）、五（1）班比赛，同学们都十分的用心，大家手上都磨起了水泡，还有的擦破了皮，但最终都以失败告终。班上很多同学都哭了，但我觉得没什么，只要我们付出了就行了，我们总有一次能扳倒六（1）班的。

是的，失败并不可怕，可怕的是害怕失败，只要我们有信心，就一定会获得成功的。就像欧文曾说过：目标你成为什么样的人。

Christmas is the most important festival in the western world.It falls on December 25th.When my mother and Istayed in America,we were invited by one of my mothers friends to have Christmas with an American family.We bought some presents for our American friends on our way to their house.They had prepared different kinds of gifts for their family and guests when we got to their house,such as Christmas candles,cakes,cards,little toys,biscuits and so on.A Christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brilliant hall.How beautiful it was！We were impressed by these.We had abig meal.After dinner,they told us some interesting stories about Christmas.We learned that Christmas had something to do with God.We went to bed at midnight.Though we knew the Santa Claus was not true,we were still waiting for the Santa Claus with white beard to bring us presents.And we received many beautiful presents the next morning.This Christmas was really unforgettable.Not only did Ihave agood time,but also Iknew something about foreign culture.

It is quite usual that one meets failures, for ones life can never be

plain sailing. However, diffhrent people hold diffhrent attitudes towards

failure. Some people think it a heavy blow to fail in achieving something and

they can not endure failure. When they meet failure, they will be seriously

dejected and can never pluck up their courage to try again. However, others

think it natural to meet failures in ones career. Therefore, they are

psychologically prepared. When they meet failures, they will not be frustrated.

Instead, they will continue to meet new challenges. As to me, Im in favor of

the latter view. Failure is really a terrible thing but it is also the mother of

success. If one draws lessons from failures, in most cases he will get success

in the future. Furthermore, ones life can never be smooth sailing; it must be

full of difficuhies and setbacks. If one is daunted by difficuhies and

frustrations, he will always be a failure. However, if one holds a positive

attitude toward failure, he will overcome difficulties and frustrations to win

victory.

I am Happy

Today， the biology class is very different. We don’t need to sit in the

classroom， because the teacher takes us to do activities. We go to a field that

is near our school， and the task for us is to observe flowers. We feel so

excited and finish the task very carefully. It is a good way for us to learn

knowledge. I am so happy.
