我们家的生计主要是靠妈妈的工资来维持，生活并不宽裕。

爸爸妈妈为了我们不缺乏营养，尽量让我们吃得丰富一些，自己却舍不得吃好的。我很少吃零食，从不浪费东西。我的衣服大多是穿姐姐以前的。

学习上我总是严格要求自己。除了每天自觉完成作业外，还会做一些卷子。复习完当天的功课，我会阅读课外书籍。我的作文曾多次在平顶山晚报上发表，为此我很开心。我知道，我是父母的希望，我不能让他们失望。

为了开阔视野、增加知识面，更多地锻炼自己，我经常参加鹰城小记者活动，也加入了学校的武术社团，注册了鹰城志愿者，我的志愿者服务时长已有30多个小时了。我还经常参加免费爱心粥等公益活动。通过这些活动，我收获了很多……

Cartoon is my favorite thing. every day when i get home, the first thing i do is to open the tv and watch the cartoons. maybe someone would think that watching cartoons is a so naive thing, but i dont think so.

5分钟了，我才捡一只小袋，我一定要努力比他们俩捡得还要多一点才行，过了一会儿，他们来到集合点，我一看表，啊?只剩下30秒了，我用最快的速度冲过去，只见他们已经在好那儿等了，我赶紧加快速度，放眼搜寻每一点垃圾，一个也逃不出我的视线……集合了，时间刚刚好，最终我捡的垃圾数量排名第三，还算不错。

比赛结束了，我们回到教室里，把捡回来的垃圾分类装进了垃圾箱里。

这次的游戏不仅提高了我们的环保意识，还增强了我的耐力，下次多参加类似的活动。这样我们自己会觉得很有意思，还能环保。

不过，我还是希望同学们能加强环保意识，养成不乱扔垃圾纸屑的好习惯，让我们的学习和生活环境变得更加干净整洁，让这座城市变得更加美丽迷人。

My Home Town

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories， schools， hospitals， cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

Mid-autumn festival is one of the most important festivals for Chinese

people. At that time, people will come back home and spend time with their

families. The meaning of this festival is to provide people a chance to get

tried their best to catch up with them in the second half. With the shouts "come

“举手之劳做环保，废物个个都是宝”，相信只要你我用心，运用一点巧思，资源回收的物品都还可再利用，有一次老师教我们利用酸奶罐来制作酸奶笛， 我们准备酸奶的空瓶、朔胶水管、气球，利用这些回收的用具，并且配合“振动”的特性，于是做成了独一无二的环保酸奶笛，真的很有趣。

“表演开始了”，不知道是谁大喊一声。我们立刻回过神来。

A Visit to the Flower Show

Last week Nature Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful

flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan. Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.

My Plan for Winter Holiday

How time flies. This term ends quickly and the winter holiday is coming. I make a general plan for it. Firstly, my teachers leave us some homework, so I must earnestly finish them on time. My favoruite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. On that day, I can get moon cakes, fruit and many other delicious foods. The moon cakes are round like the moon. They are delicious. They are different inside. On Mid-Autumn Festival I see my elder brother back from work. We get together. We talk and watch the moon! How happy we are!

When I lived in my hometown, I could play a lot of games with my friends.

Such as I could catch fish in the river, and I could play the game of hide and

seek in the mountain. I like living in the countryside so much, the closeness to

the nature brings me much pleasure. There is a tree in front of my house,

someday, I found bird’s nest in it. So I asked a couple of my friends to climbed

up the tree. We wanted to catch the little bird. But when I saw these lovely

creature, I changed my idea. I did not mean to hurt them. I gave up my plan, I
