到了小说的后面，武松也和梁山其他好汉一并去征讨方腊，不幸的是，武松在这场大战中失去了他的左臂，最后留在了寺院。读到这，起初有些伤心，但后来我又转念一想：这可能就是武松最好的人生终点了吧，在清静的寺院中，远离那战争的烟尘，无需回到那腐败的朝廷之中，去受那四大奸臣的迫害。呆在寺院中，远离那世间的丑恶，同时洗净自己身上的丑恶，最后没有痛苦的去往那西方极乐世界。想到这，我对武松的选择感到了赞许，对武松的结局也十分满意。

武松，他虽未做出什么惊动朝廷的大事，但他的生平，也做出了许多官府震惊，让百姓称赞的好事，他是第一位告诉我如何做一个英雄好汉的一个人物，也是第一位让我了解并爱上《水浒》的人物。
