In many countries, such as Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey, Australia and the US, people cel lebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May while many other countries of the world celebrate their own Mother’s day at different times through out the year.

One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to give your mom the day off. Let her relax with the rest of the family doing all the housework. Usually, dad and the kids will let mom sleep late that morning as they go into the kitchen to prepare her favourite breakfast. Never forget to place a vase with a single flower on the table beside the food. The kids can pick up the flower from the garden or buy one from the shop. Arrange everything nicely before mom wakes up. Some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from the newspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. Presents and cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the dining table.

After breakfast, go anywhere mom likes to go. Shopping, swimming or going on a picnic in the garden. Make a special Mother’s Day dinner or take mom out for a great meal in a famous restaurant she loves most.

Anyway ,let mom enjoy the whole day and feel your love, and then the Mother’s Day can be a good one. As Mother’s Day is around the corner, it’s time to take actions!

How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

暑假有来了。我很高兴我能忘掉学校至少一段时间。免得我我浪费了这个暑假,我做了一个计划如何度过我的暑假。首先,我认为我应该复习所有我的老师一学期教的那些东西,这样我就可以有更好的理解。然后我想我应该参加一些不同形式的运动,如散步、跑步划船、让我身体强壮。它的原看在这样的一个很好的计划,我应该好好利用我的休假。事实上我也这么 做了,因此我没有辜负了我的计划。

“民以食为天”，这说明食品对于我们来说是多么的重要!不过，你在饮食过程中有没有注意饮食卫生呢?如果你不注意，卫生就可能因为一点儿小小的疏忽而丢失宝贵的生命。

虽然我还是一个小学生，可我懂得的关于食品安全的知识可不少呢!比如说不能在小摊上买东西、不能在没有卫生许可证的餐厅吃饭、不能吃过期、变质、“三无”食品、不能吃未煮熟的东西等等。我还知道在购买小食品时，注重查看以下几个方面情况：一是要选择信誉好、质量稳定的知名品牌;二是要注意查看产品包装上的厂名、厂址、食品生产日期和保质期，拒绝购买“三无”产品;三是检查食品和合格、所含的营养成分、色泽新鲜程度;四是注意质价相符，对超低价格的小食品不要购买;五是注重检查该食品的食品商标标志等等。

Although I am still a pupil, but I know a lot about food safety knowledge! For example, cant buy anything in the stalls, do not eat without a hygiene licence expired, metamorphic restaurant can not eat, "three noes" of the food, not eating undercooked things and so on. I also know that in the purchase of food, pay attention to check the following several aspects: one is to choose a good reputation, quality and stability of the well-known brand; the two is to pay attention to see the product packaging factory name, the site, food production date and shelf life, refused to buy the "three noes" products; three is to check the food and conformity, the nutritional ingredients, fresh color degree; four is to pay attention to quality and price match, the purchase of the ultra low price small food not; five is to pay attention to check the food logo etc..
