have fun, and Dad does, too. You always give me your opinion and I listen. And

I thank God every day that you are my parents and that you guys brought me

up right. I’m very fortunate having the two of you by me side when some kids

don’t have this kind of relationship with their parents. It makes me know how

Dear Sir,

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

my father is a nice man. he likes to play computer games. he is

an owner of a factory which produces many things .he is good at designing. he

works very hard. i love him very much because, sometimes, i can help him to do

something in his factory .he is always on business trips because he has his

business everywhere so it takes up too much of his time .therefore, he doesn’t

have any time to play with me but i don’t blame him for that. i often spend a

lot of my time on the computer, so i have something to do. my mother is usually

“五一”节假日和炎热的夏季即将来临，每位父母都希望自己的孩子健康成长，而假期和夏季是溺水、食物中毒、传染病、火灾等事故的高发期。为了让孩子们度过一个安全愉快的假期和夏季，希望各位家长能积极配合学校做好孩子们的安全教育和各项安全防范工作。

一. 要加强对子女预防溺水的安全教育。要向子女讲清楚私自外出游泳的危险性及可能导致的严重后果;教育自己的子女不要在江、河、海、溪流、水库、水潭等不明水域游泳;不私自或擅自结伴外出游泳或到水边游玩，如发现其他孩子私自外出游泳或水边游玩，要及时制止，并向其家长或学校老师报告;如要学游泳，必须经家长同意，在家长或悉水性的成年人的带领下进行;教育子女在夏季风雨天和洪水爆发时注意过桥、行路安全。

二. 加强对孩子食品卫生教育。不买腐败、霉烂、变质、有异味或超过保质期的食品，不喝生水、不吃生腌海鲜、未洗净的蔬菜水果及畸形变色食物，不宜多吃卫生部提醒的以下10种食物：松花蛋、臭豆腐、味精、方便面、葵花子、菠菜、猪肝、烤牛羊肉、腌菜、油条，不要让家养宠物接触食品，杜绝病从口入。如发生食物中毒或传染病疫情或隐患病史(如心脏病)应及时向学校通报。

三. 加强对孩子交通安全教育。严禁孩子乘坐超载及无证、无照人员驾驶的车、船等交通工具。要提醒孩子遵守交通规则，禁止12岁以下孩子骑车来校上学。

四. 加强对孩子假期活动的管理。节假日家长应让孩子参加一些有益身心健康的活动，应注意孩子的言行和动向，不要让孩子爬树、爬墙、爬陡坡，不让孩子进网吧和游戏机室。

五. 要定期检查消除家庭安全隐患。家居装修尽量使用防火建材，燃气热水器要安装在浴室外通风处，家庭要配置灭火器，破损电路要及时更换，家里新添电器要向孩子讲清使用方法，打火机、火柴之类不能带在孩子们身上，会烫伤的物品要远离孩子。

I have a good friend. She is a beautiful girl. She has long black hair， two

big black eyes and a red mouth. Her voice is better. She is good at singing.

She is a clever girl. She likes reading books， playing computer games and

chess. She is also nice. She often helps us. Our classmates like her very

much.

In the Chinese lesson, I need to recite many old poems, which is very

difficult for the elder to do it, but it is so easy to me. As I am young and

Ali Baba quickly got as many bags of gold as his mules could carry, and

then put them in the sack; after that he placed the wood upon the gold so firmly

then measure how much we have, okay?” Ali Baba agreed, for he was almost the

person in the world to find out how much they have.

And so the next morning Ali Baba’s wife went to Cassim’s house to borrow a

measure, Cassim’s wife came out and said, “Sister, we have lots of measures; you

are welcome to borrow any one of them.” And then she went to the basement, and

got a bag of measure, and then Ali Baba’s wife picked one and went back to her

house. When she approached, she knelt down and began to measure. After a short

time, she went to Cassim’s house again to return the measure, not noticing that

one piece of gold coin stuck to the bottom of the measure. “Here you are

sister,” she said as she put the measure down, “I have finished using it.” And

then went away.

Cassim’s wife did not take long to realize the piece of pure gold coin. She

took it off and called Cassim, “Husband, I know you suspect that you are a rich

fellow; but your brother Ali Baba is ten times as rich as you, he does not count

his money; but measures them.”

Cassim looked at the gold coin and knew at once, “Ali Baba just pretended

that he was a poor fellow and borrows anything we have,” Cassim was not even

pleased at his brother’s good fortune, but was the opposite. And then Cassim led

his wife to Ali Baba’s house, “Ali Baba, tell me, where did you get all of this

good fortune.” At that moment, Ali Baba knew that the secret had been spread

though his own wife’s stupidity. “Look Ali Baba, if you don’t tell me where you

got this gold; I shall tell everybody, and not only will you get no more, but

you will have no more gold in the rest of your life! Ha!” laughed Cassim.

And so Ali Baba told him where he found the gold, and even the words he

knew of how to make the door open and shut. And so Cassim woke up early the next

morning, and took with his ten donkeys to fill the gold. He arrived at the place

where Ali Baba had told him, and pronounced these words, “Open Sesame!” the door

instantly opened wide, and inside of course; he found a chamber of pure gold,

and in it was gold.

Cassim filled as many bags of gold as he wanted. But when the robbers

arrived he was still filling. When the robbers found out, they used their swords

and soon killed him.

In our life,have some animals,they are so cult and so ugly,but we must know

animals and humans are friends,we should like animals ,so i wnat to be a

volunteer to help them. I am so friendly and i love animals very much,i can do

more things and i do some good things,i give the money for save Chinas tigers

and so on.So i want to help animals,because i love them. Lets help animals just

help yourself ,lets to be a volunteer to help them now,so come on!

There is an old man living next to my house. I can see him every day when I

walk down the street. He sells shoes every day and he has done the business for

more than 20 years. Most people have changed their career but only he insists. I

admire him because he sells shoes no matter rain or shine. He loves his job and

has a nice talk to his customers.

When I was very small, I saw an interesting movie, which was called Kongfu

Panda. The fat panda image was so lovely and I learned that there was such a

lovely animal in the world. Since then, I fell in love with this animal. I learn

a lot of relevant knowledge. Panda is dying out, so we need to protect them by
