“五一”节假日和炎热的夏季即将来临，每位父母都希望自己的孩子健康成长，而假期和夏季是溺水、食物中毒、传染病、火灾等事故的高发期。为了让孩子们度过一个安全愉快的假期和夏季，希望各位家长能积极配合学校做好孩子们的安全教育和各项安全防范工作。

一. 要加强对子女预防溺水的安全教育。要向子女讲清楚私自外出游泳的危险性及可能导致的严重后果;教育自己的子女不要在江、河、海、溪流、水库、水潭等不明水域游泳;不私自或擅自结伴外出游泳或到水边游玩，如发现其他孩子私自外出游泳或水边游玩，要及时制止，并向其家长或学校老师报告;如要学游泳，必须经家长同意，在家长或悉水性的成年人的带领下进行;教育子女在夏季风雨天和洪水爆发时注意过桥、行路安全。

五. 要定期检查消除家庭安全隐患。家居装修尽量使用防火建材，燃气热水器要安装在浴室外通风处，家庭要配置灭火器，破损电路要及时更换，家里新添电器要向孩子讲清使用方法，打火机、火柴之类不能带在孩子们身上，会烫伤的物品要远离孩子。
