屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节的活动可真多啊!

春天，是一个万物复苏的季节，是一个欣欣向荣生机盎然的季节。所有的植物都向大家露出快乐的微笑，在样美好的春天—3月19日，我们精锐十班要执行一个神圣的任务—植树。50个同学怀着紧张而又激动的心情出发了。一个多小时的旅途并没有让我们感到不耐烦，连那未来得及吐出新绿的小树都显得格外茁壮。

到了目的地，男生们领了铁锹，大家便迫不及待的跟随老师傅来到了指定地点。老白给每个组都分配了任务。了解之后，我们不顾一路的疲惫，不约而同的拿起工具，开始了我们的任务。女生的任务是将树种搬到植树地点，看到纤细而又笔直小树苗，我们的任务是要赋予她神圣的生命。我抬手抓住了一个树苗，没想到还挺重，我小心翼翼的将树苗搬了回去，立在了男生挖好的坑里，填上土，一颗小树苗就种好啦!

我又一次性搬来了两棵小树苗，我想体验一下挖坑，接过张泽荣手里沉重的铁锹，在张爸爸的指导下，开始挖坑，接下来，不论男生还是女生，我们都开始动手挖坑，锄的锄，铲的铲，干得热火朝天，等我们挖得差不多，我们拿小树苗去衡量够不够大、够不够深。我一共挖了四个坑，额上细密的汗珠又一次被春日的寒风吹干，这时，听到老白的声音：“二组第一名!”耶，我们组得了第一名!我心里甜滋滋的，高兴地跳了起来!

春天种下的小树苗会茁壮成长，夏天能给人带来阴凉，秋天能给人丰收的喜悦，冬天则给人无尽的寒冷中温暖的希望。我恍然意识到我种下的不是一个树苗，而是一个生命，一个全人类赖以生存而又不珍惜的宝贵资源。也许，砍掉一棵树只需要5秒钟，而栽上一棵树却需要5分钟，长成一棵树则需要5年，我明白，人们不能乱砍伐树木了。望着眼前这棵幼苗，我们用我们爱心作成长的水分，用我们的爱心作为成长的营养成份，日复一日的盼它早日茁壮成长，成为大树，为我们共同的家增添一份绿意，为美化环境增添一份小小的力量。

这次活动让我充分体验到了植树的艰辛，我要感谢家长们的积极配合，为了我们更舒适，也要感谢老白的精心策划。
