虽然他们不像科学家那样伟大，也不像歌星那样璀璨。但是，在我心中他们却是那样伟大，那样令人敬佩。小时候，我非常顽皮。从外面回来，总是一身灰尘，衣服破烂不堪。这是父母总是慈爱地拉着我的小手，带我去洗澡。我小时候还有一个坏习惯―咬人。也许是因为我属狗吧，见到人总会出其不意地咬别人一口。所以，妈妈和爸爸总是陪在我身边。当我想咬人时他们便会伸出手臂。如今，我已经不咬人了，可是在他们的手臂上留下一个个“坑坑洼洼”的“防空洞”。偶尔看一看，也会回味无穷！到了一年级，许多作业重重压在我肩膀上。做到8点多也没做完，累了一天的我伸了伸手臂，不由自主地睡着了。谁知第二天我的作业奇迹般地做完了，我怀疑是“上帝”替我做了。从此我便一早玩到晚，把作业留给了“上帝”做。
可是第三天，“上帝”留了一张纸条给我∶我太累了，能让我休息一下吗？我脸红了，决定以后自己做作业。到现在我才知道“上帝”就是我父母。当我没做完作业时，他们并不是吵吵嚷嚷地把我吵醒，逼着我做，而是耐心地替我做，然后又写纸条让我养成早点做作业、不依赖别人的习惯。如今我已上五年纪了，可爸妈还是无微不至地照顾我。每当我沾沾自喜、骄傲自大的时候，他们会千叮咛、万嘱咐地告诉我“骄傲使人落后”。每当我失败了，灰心丧气的时候，他们又会安慰我“失败乃成功之母”。
是父母的养育之恩使我懂了不少知识与道理。以后，我一定好好学习、勤奋向上，成为祖国的栋梁，为祖国效力、做贡献，以报答父母这么多年的养育之恩，也使他们感到欣慰！

晚饭过后，妈妈兴师动众的把奖状高高的挂在了电视柜上面，显得格外扎眼。爸爸看着红彤彤的奖状，皱了皱眉头，有些生气地说：“不过只是一张奖状而已，至于那么夸张吗？”我听后心中充满了怨念，跑回房间，“啪”的一声就关住了门。那时的我真是恨极了爸爸：这可是我辛辛苦苦得到的第一张奖状啊！他怎么能那样说？
就这样，我始终没有开门。直到晚上，我在上厕所路过父母的房间，里面传出爸爸说话的声音，我立刻止住了脚步。“你今天啊，真不应该那样。孩子是需要激励的，不能因为一点点微不足道的成功就骄傲自满，你那样的做法，只会让孩子原地踏步，甚至退步，没有任何的帮助。”“可一定要让孩子充满自信，这是她的一张奖状，她需要鼓励！”“但事情根本不是你所想的那样，要让她把压力转化成动力，首先要明白，仅仅一次的成功，根本算不了什么！”“可这样的做法只会让他更加自卑……”啊！原来是这样，我眉毛一挑，心里充满了惭愧。
