Cell phones have also changed the way that people interact with each other.

When we call someone, we are actually calling the person and not a place. This

enables us to be more spontaneous when making plans as you rarely get a busy

signal and unlike a land line telephone, someone is always home. Cell phones

also enable us to call if we are going to be late for an appointment, although

this has led to cell phone users running late more often than those who do not

have cell phones. These users seem to have adopted the attitude that appointment

times are not concrete and use their cell phones to renegotiate their arrival

time.

One of the greatest disadvantages of the cellular phone is the fact that we

do not talk to strangers when traveling anymore. In the past, several people

waiting for a bus would engage in a conversation while they were waiting. People

who traveled the same routes every day might develop friendships along the way.

This situation does not happen anymore. Today when people are waiting for a bus,

they just pull out their cell phones and speak with old friends, missing out on

the opportunity to make new ones. In large cities, many people do not know their

neighbors, even though they may have lived in the same neighborhood for years.

As a society, we are beginning to lose the face-to-face contact that was such an

important part of our lives in the past.

Cell phones are a great asset in aiding in our every day lives. You should

remember, however, to hang up every once in a while and pay attention to the

world around you.

How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. Besides,as to study,he should develop a good habit of self-teaching and learn to arrange study independently. Of course,it may take a freshman some while to become accustomed to the study and life in college. However, we all have to accept constant challenges of new things in our life. To conclude,college students should try to adapt himself to college life as soon as possible, so as to take full advantages of their precious college time.

科技改变生活。虽然科技让我们的生活更舒适，但是环境的恶化他们是否看到，空气越来浑浊，人们再也无法呼吸到新鲜空气，冬天下雪很少，难道你们都不知道吗？

科技不仅改变了我们的生活，动物也难逃厄运。空气的浑浊使动物无法生存，环境的恶劣使大部分动物濒临灭亡。

科技改变生活，我希望科技有一天能真正“改变生活”。

从小我就有一个好习惯，每当做完老师和父母布置的作业，就会跑到书房，坐在椅子上津津有味地看着《十万个为什么》，这一看就是几个小时，每一个科学道理都深深印在我的脑海中。在饭桌上，我也会把自己所看到的新知识统统讲给爸爸妈妈听，这样不仅懂得了许多知识，而且还增强了表达能力。

我还有个特点——爱问为什么。“为什么天是蓝的呢？”“为什么海水是咸的呢？”“为什么恐龙会灭绝呢？”……爸爸也搞不懂我的小脑袋里为什么装了这么多“为什么”，这些小问号太多了，有些问题当老师的爸爸都难住了，这时我就会在书中寻找答案，找不到还要到大型书店去找，总之非要找到不可。

小时候我的梦想是做一名科学家，想要给大家发明一些生活中没有，但对人类生活有帮助的东西。可是光说、光梦想，不去努力地做又有什么用呢？所以我就去参加许许多多的科技活动，增强我对科技知识的了解。要知道一位成功的科学家是从小发明开始的，不是生下来就是科学家的，一定要实际操作和大胆想象还要坚持、努力地做才行。而且做科技活动的同时也学会了坚持、学会了努力，学会了不懂的问题问老师、问大人。

对于科技，我们一点也不陌生，因为我们每天都生活在科技的怀抱中，我们每天都在享受着科技带给我们的方便与快捷。也许你还没有发现，也许你会发出疑问：“科技？科技在哪里？”你看，科技就在你身边：电视、电脑、手机、mp3、火箭、卫星、宇宙飞船……好多好多，说几天几夜都说不完。总之生活离不开科技，科技在为生活服务。点点滴滴，时时事事，科技无处不在。

当年瓦特发明蒸汽机的时候，曾经轰动全世界，今天我们坐在高高的轻轨上和高速的地铁上，一点也不感到奇怪；一个苹果从树上落到牛顿头上的时候，聪明的牛顿发现了地球的引力，又根据地球引力的定律发明了许多东西。从发现到发明，科学家付出了多大的努力啊！

科技正在飞速发展，生活在努力改变。科技在改变生活，我们生活在日新月异的科技发展中，我们应该骄傲，我们应该自豪！

科学是创新的一把钥匙，要合理掌握才能打开创新之这道门。

人类都期待着又一项科技发明的诞生让我们的生活更加美好！

Everyone is longing for happiness. But what is happiness? Different people have different opinions to happiness. Some people think making large sum of money and spending all of it on big mansion, expensive food, pretty clothes and fancy cars make them happy; some people think marry to the people they love and live a plain life is happiness, even though they can not afford a bigger house or a brand-new car；And some other people think that don’t need to go to work and sleep in the bed until the noon is happiness. Apparently, the definition of happiness varies from person to person.

For me, staying in good health and have a long vacation without homework is happiness. Good health is the foundation of happiness. Picture this, if I sick, I will go to the hospital, and there are a lot of funny things I can’t do because I feel uncomfortable. I will lose my appetite for the delicious food, and have no strength to go outside to play with my friends. What’s worse, in order to cure the illness, I will sallow countless pills and some of them may have side effects. Only a well function body can ensure the life to be happy. While a long vacation will give me affluent time to do the things I want to. If I can spend my time to do the things I want instead of homework, I definitely will be very happy. I really love traveling; I plan to go to Tibet on next long vacation. To see the beautiful scenes of the different places can broaden my horizon and enrich my life experience. I want to be a famous writer in the future.I like to write stories for kids.The stories will be short and funny.My teacher said I was good at writing.But I still need to improve my English,too.Then I can write stories in English.So the kids from all over the world can read my stories.
