有一次，妹妹正在看动画片，可平时对妹妹十分宠爱的爷爷却将遥控器抢了过来，说：“新闻联播开始了，先给我看会儿。”无论妹妹怎么央求他，他都置之不理，目不转睛地盯着电视，津津有味地品味新闻。我奇怪极了，等他看完电视，我走过去问他：“爷爷，你怎么那么喜欢看新闻联播呀？”爷爷兴奋起来，伸出四个手指，在我眼前晃了晃，说：“我追新闻已经追了四十年了。”我瞪大了眼睛，问：“四十年前哪来的电视？没有电视又怎么播报新闻？”爷爷摸了摸我的头，说：”你听我慢慢地说

“分田到户后，公社在村头安装了一个高音喇叭。每天傍晚，大伙儿干活累了，都捧着饭碗，坐在喇叭底下的石头上，竖起耳朵听着广播，七嘴八舌地议论着。有时一条新闻能让人回味好几天。

“大约过了两三年后，我们家买了凯歌牌收音机。那真比广播好多了，刮风下雨都能听到新闻。但也有点儿麻烦，要不停地更换频道，而且也有许多‘沙沙’的杂音。

“又过了几年，我买了我们村第一台熊猫牌黑白电视。你知道我为什么那么着急买吗？”我摇了摇头，用疑惑的眼神望着他。爷爷得意地说：“当然是为了看新闻。那时的电视机图像不清晰，风一吹就会出现‘雪花’或‘横纹’上下抖动，这时得去外面摇天线杆。

“后来又换了几次，我们从黑白到液晶，尺寸、视觉、画质一次比一次好。新闻的内容也更加丰富了“听了爷爷的介绍，我会意地点了点头，原来他跟新闻有这么深的情结。

最近几天，我觉得爷爷变了，竟然把遥控器让给了妹妹，“新闻联播“换成了妹妹的”动画世界“，他自己一个人躲在房间里。我偷偷地走过去，看看爷爷在干什么。我吃惊极了，他竟然带着他的老花镜，手里捧着ipad，划过来划过去，不时地嘀咕几句。”爷爷不看新闻了？“我拍了拍他的肩膀。爷爷笑眯眯地拿起了ipad，”我这边几分钟更换一次最新新闻。科技的发展会带给我们很多便捷的享受啊！“

爷爷真是个新闻迷。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I

listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside

and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the

vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year

and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the

CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people

of china doing at that time.

Thats all, all my dull, coldly and snowy winter vacation.

It was Saturday morning, I just woke up, saw my mother in a hurry, mouth called: Im going to be late for work, you father and son help me wash clothes! When I want to tell my mother that I cant wash, her back is far away from me. Father pretended not to hear and went on to sleep.

life in the city is very different from life in the villages and on the farms. people in large cities are much more careful to respect the privacy of the individual. sometimes this feeling seems to be one of indifference, but it is a convention of city life to curb ones curiosity about the personal affairs of strangers. villagers and farmers are likely to show a great deal of interest in all their neighbors. opportunities for bright young people are greater in the cities and there has been a steady stream of hopeful jobseekers from the villages and farms to the large metropolitan areas.

Time passes qiuckly,and the summer hoilday is coming.During the hoilday,i will have a rest to reileve my stress and do some exercises to strength my body.

Besides i will spend more time in companying my parents and doing the housework as much as possible beacuse i have paid too much attention on study that i ignored them when i was in school.

同学们，当我们坐在电视机前收看丰富多彩的节目时我们手按鼠标在计算机的世界里畅游时;当我们在春光明媚的季节里津津有味地吃着西瓜时……我们可曾想过：是什么给我们的生活带来那么多的变化?是科学!是科学技术的巨大力量，改变了我们身边的一切，改变了整个世界!

随着科技的进步，世界的面貌都发生了哪些变化呢?

奶奶说：人的寿命变长了!在科学不发达的时代，饥饿和疾病一直是威胁着人类生存的大敌，无数的人被疾病和饥饿无情地夺去宝贵的生命。我国在新中国建立以前，人口的平均寿命只有35岁。怪不得姐奶奶以前老念叨着“人生七十古来稀”唉声叹气。而现在，奶奶有什么头疼脑热的，到医院买些药打几针就好啦。所以，奶奶整天乐呵呵地自夸身体好，还说什么“人活百岁不稀奇”呢!

爸爸说：我们的劳动变轻松了!再也不用像爷爷那时候一样——脸朝黄土背朝天，靠艰苦的体力劳动，靠捉摸不定的老天爷吃饭了。在采用高新技术的农业园区里，耕地、播种、收割等程序都可以用计算机来管理，用农业机械来完成。它使人们从繁重的体力劳动中解放了出来。

妈妈说：我们的生活变好了!以前，人们总要为温饱问题发愁。科技的发展，让我们装满了米袋子，盛满了菜蓝子，不但吃得饱，而且吃得好，吃得更丰富了。去年，我家还盖起了两间四层高的楼房。我也有了自己的小天地，爸爸还在我的房间里安装了空调器，冬暖夏凉，我可以安安静静、舒舒服服地在里面写作业看故事书啦。

要我说呢，我觉得科学技术的进步，把世界变小了!每年春节，隔壁的张大爷都要通过越洋电话，和远在台湾的弟弟通话祝贺，相隔万里的亲人如在耳边。想唐僧到印度取经，一路上跋山涉水、风餐露宿、历尽艰辛，整整走了好几年才到达目的地。现在，快速安全的汽车、轮船、飞机等交通工具把我们的足印在了地球上几乎所有的地方。这个“五一”节，我们一家还去了一趟首都北京呢!

在世界的东方，我们的先人发明了火药、指南针、印刷术、造纸术，创造了自己辉煌的历史。我们幸运地生长在一个崭新的时代，科学的花朵从来没有像今天这样鲜艳夺目，科学的道路从来没有像今天这样宽广。同学们，让我们从小就培养起爱科学、学科学的好习惯，树立科学精神，勇攀科学高峰，去创造美丽的家园。

Some people love to change, and they look forward to new experiences. For them, following routines is tedious, they always want to do something new to have fun; while some others like to stay the same and make no change. According to them, try something new is risky, and sometimes they cannot even take the consequence of it. In my humble opinion, I think both have its own advantages and disadvantages.

一些人喜欢改变，并期待着新的体验。对于他们来说，按照规矩办事十分无趣，所以他们总是想尝试新的东西，并从中获得乐趣。而对于其他人来说，他们则喜欢保持现状。尝试新的东西是项冒险的行为，况且有时候他们并不能接受冒险的后果。就我个人来说，我想这两种生活方式都有利弊。
