It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.

To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

但也是因为我们奇妙的双手，制造了刀、枪、箭等武器。因为有了这些武器，动物们也无处可逃，只能在猎人的脚下俯首称臣。而那些贪得无厌的猎人，为了钱不择手段，肆意捕、猎杀动物。尤其是大象，它们强壮有力的象牙能有效地保护自己，但也同样招来了祸端。近年来，已有数千计的大象被猎杀。这难道不是科技的反作用力吗？虽说科技奇妙，但奇妙的未免太过了些。

还好，正因为科技的发展人们已经有了保护动物的能力。已经有很多濒临灭绝的物种生活在国家级的野生自然保护区内。它们在哪儿能受到非常好的保护，避免受到伤害。

科技的发展是一把威力十足的双刃剑。用在好的方面它就能充分发挥自己的作用。用在坏的方面，也会使人们受到极大的危害。但首先来说它的好处是远远大于坏处的。如果你摔伤了擦上点碘酒，不一会就不疼了。这种感觉是多么奇妙啊！如果不是日渐发达的现在而是在科技还未发展的过去，就只能强忍伤痛等待伤口恢复。你想想三国时期，曹操头痛就只能劈开脑袋医治，要是在现在开两盒药，吃完就不疼了。充满科技的现在真是奇妙啊！

美丽的世界因为科技而日渐美好。人们的生活蒸蒸日上。动物的生存有了很大的保障。如果没有科技的发展，现在的生活又怎能如此美好呢？

People are changing and every creature is changing. Changing is a neutral word. We can’t judge it is good or bad in general, because every coin has two sides. But sometimes we need to change, because it is good for us. Sometimes we will meet some difficult or uncomfortable situation. When we are not able to change it, we need to change ourselves. If both of us refuse to budge, the problem would not be solved. Childhood is often regarded as a memorable and beautiful period of one’s life and I passed it happily as a grade-school student. My grade school days were really carefree ones. There are lots of other stories like this one, because of internet, college students had to give up their college life. What makes these unhappy things happenedIn my opinion, the main reason is that under the Chinese education system, every student is strictly surprised by their parent’s, the teachers and school before college entrance examination, they have little freedom. After they go to the college, the parents left them alone, the teachers started to give them enough belief, so they can do everything they want include surfing the internet without control
