大家应该都或多或少的了解商鞅，他也有一个故事，叫立木为信。

商鞅变法之初，恐民不信，商鞅把一根三丈之木立于国都之南门，然后宣布能将此木徙置北门者赐10金。搬动一根木头，何须如此重赏，人们自然不信，于是他又下令，将赏金加至50。

有人将信将疑把木头搬到北门，即赏50金，以示不欺。于是商鞅在人们心目中树立了令出必信，法出必行的印象。

商鞅通过这种巧妙的方法，让人们从此对他的印象就是言出必行，让大家都对他有了极致的信任感，也对以后治国有了更好的基础。

大年初一，我和妈妈、爸爸一起去外婆家。外婆家离南京比较远，开车要好几个小时。其实我心里一直有个疑问，外婆家离我南京的家到底有多远呢?

我问妈妈：“妈妈，我想知道外婆家有多远呀?”

“用你四年级学习的两位数以上的乘法，可以计算出南京家到外婆家的公里数了。”妈妈回答。

“要怎么算呢?我知道大概要开3小时，是不是找到爸爸每小时开车的速度就可以算出来了?”

妈妈摸了一下我的头，微笑着说。“是的，按照以往爸爸开车的情况，大年初一高速上没有什么人，车速可以开到平均100公里每小时，在高速上行驶的时间差不多是2小时;剩下的1小时，平均速度在45公里每小时左右。”

我兴奋地扒拉着手指开始算：“2--100=200，加1--45=45，合起来是245。哈哈，我算出来了，距离是245公里。”

“你们不知道吧，我出发的时候记了车辆的里程数，等到了你外婆家再看一下最新的里程数，用最新的里程数减去我们出发时的里程数，就可以得到南京家到外婆家的准确距离了，到时候看看你估算的准不准。”这时一直在认真开车的爸爸说道。

我爽快地答应了：“没问题。”

一路畅通无阻，3个小时零5分钟我们到了外婆家，我迫不及待地用里程表计算行程，得到的公里数是243公里，与我和妈妈估算的245公里基本一致，我开心地蹦了起来：“耶!耶!耶!”。

一下子学会了两种计算距离的方法，又解开了心里盘旋好久的疑惑，我心里别提有多开心了。
