I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. 我家门口有一座很宽很长的大桥，它座落在家乡的南明河上。河水波光粼粼，衬着这座桥也显得别具情味，岸旁的柳树常轻拂平静的河面，拨出一圈又一圈的涟漪，颇有种小桥流水的风味。我很喜欢这座桥，它蕴含了不少我童年的回忆。

桥梁上总是悬挂着各式彩灯，色彩斑斓，一闪一闪的。这美轮美奂的霓虹灯是那么光彩夺目，特别是在夜幕中，这光彩更加耀眼，像光晕一样，迷离而美丽。

桥上那灯光渲染了漆黑寂静的夜空，那里的夜幕与别处是不同的，那儿的天空亮堂而富有色彩，我想真正的彩虹应该就是这样的吧，所以儿时的我天真地给它取名叫做“彩虹桥”。

小时候，外婆常常推着婴儿车，带着我在桥上漫步。很多时候外婆总是带着我，欣赏河里自由自在游来游去的鱼儿，观察水面轻掠过的白鹭，岸边雀跃着的麻雀儿……我对桥的感情日渐深厚，以及身旁亲爱的外婆，桥上的一切都是那么亲切而惹人喜爱。记得外婆常常喜欢带着我倚在桥栏上哼唱着那首童谣：“摇啊摇，摇到外婆桥……。”，我们哼唱的歌声一直铭记在我的心中，它似乎包含着外婆对我真切的爱。我也把这座充溢着亲情的桥称为“外婆桥”。

外婆桥是一座存储着我与外婆之间回忆的地方，它好似蕴含着各种滋味。记得有一次，我和外婆再一次漫步在桥上，我失手把最心爱的玩偶掉到了桥下的河岸上，外婆看到我失望难过的眼神，不惜费九牛二虎之力下到河边，冒着危险，弯着腰，伸着手捞起落到河岸边杂草从的玩偶。我依稀记得，外婆蹲在栏杆旁边，她那微胖矮小的身躯似乎蕴含着强大的力量，我至今记得当外婆抓住玩偶递给我时神情激动万分，她紧抱着我，欣喜的笑着，嘴里还不停的叮嘱道：“以后你可千万小心些，别再弄掉了”。而我也紧紧抱着她，眼睛有些湿润，但不知为何，心中抑制不住喜悦，控制不住的跟着外婆傻笑。

我爱家门口的那座桥，它是外婆和我的回忆基地，它充溢着一种满满的亲情，溢着外婆的爱和那种甜甜的气息。

雨滴滴答答地打在地上，不知不觉又来到了这里，这里有一座木桥，人们理所当然地踩在上面，可之后又有谁记得它。历尽沧桑之后被抛弃，这是桥的不幸。它之前默默地为行人奉献着自己的身躯，让烈日照射自己，让雨水冲刷自己，让狂风吹打自己，依然挺立于自己的岗位上。待到腐朽之时，则毅然地被人们遗弃。对此，我感到厌恶而无奈，但我渐渐地发现我不也是这样做的吗?母亲总是那么忙碌，但仍是那么关心我。

那天，叶子凋零大半的枫树举着凄凉的枝桠，在晚风灰色的气流中瑟瑟发抖，雨也悄无声息地降临，又赶上要去坐校车，我心里自然不是什么滋味。但是，雨势并不大，而我家又离校车上落点不远，我就顶着雨坐上了校车。校车还要半个小时才开，时间真是漫长，似乎被锁住，风吹在脸上觉得空气似乎都要凝结了一样，觉得有点冷。我呆呆地望着车窗上缓缓滑下的雨滴，忽然，一个熟悉的身影映入我的眼帘中。越来越近了，奇怪，怎么会是母亲!仔细一看，她打着一把伞，而另一只手拿着一把伞和一件衣服。我惊讶地打开车窗，母亲把伞和衣服递了给我，又叮咛了几句，就回去了。伴随着感动，我就静静地凝望着她的背影，直到在我的视野中消失，眼泪不知不觉地顺着我的脸颊流了下来。

五天后，放学回到家，看到她依旧为家务事操劳着，而我则悠哉悠哉。我开始发现，我为母亲做的事太少、太少，不能再这样下去。她正在洗碗，我走了过去，正想对她说，却无意中发现了些许白发藏在了她那密密的黑发中，特别显眼。我哽咽了一下，望着，我想起了许多以前她照顾我的情景：当我生病时，总是母亲照顾我，为我端来一杯温热的水，为我掖掖蹬乱的被;当天气变凉时，总是母亲不住地提醒我多穿衣服，小心着凉生病;当我考试成绩不理想时，总是母亲细心安慰我，鼓励我……一幕幕在我脑海中闪烁着，涌现出的都是她那慈祥的笑脸。泪水早已在我眼眶中不停地打转，溢了出来，我用那沙哑了的声音说：“母亲，以后都让我来洗吧……”母亲转身过来说：“我能行，你去做功课吧!”母亲摆摆手，心里很轻松似的。我只好点头应许，转身走开，我的眼泪又来了。

母亲，无论岁月怎么在你身上留下痕迹，你永远都是最美的。岁月带给你沧桑，而你则带给我幸福，尽管你会变得更加憔悴，依然坚定地给我无微不至的照顾。

仰望天空，天空很蓝，太阳很暖，心里很暖。最是感人的莫过于那一份母爱，因为她富有内涵，无私!无悔!

They may be crazy if they are in that situation in the long term. Going travel, leaving all the troubles behind for a period of time, people will have a good rest and then fight again. Secondly, travel can broaden people’s vision.

People can learn more through what they see and hear.
