Environmental pollution is a serious social problem. It poses a terrible threat to men’s health.

The atmosphere is filthy. The air is thick with dust and burnt oil. Dark smokes are being emitted from chimneys, and choking fumes are being released from numerous vehicles. 参加完这次活动，我才知道，原来没有用电器，但是不拔插头，还是会耗电的。我同时也有点惭愧，因为我想起我以前的一些事：有一次，我玩完电脑，却忘了关电脑，直到我躺到床上的时候才想起电脑没关，但我不敢去关电脑，因为我怕被爸爸妈妈骂，怎么办呢? 我只好在爸爸妈妈睡着的时候才去关的，但也耗掉了很多电。其实还有几次要不就是忘了关电扇，要不就是忘了关灯，那时我觉得就不那耗掉一点电吗?但现在我知道了，这样做很不环保的。

于是，在我的倡导下，我们全家都开始低碳生活行动，我在电视机上贴了一张温馨提示：看完电视要拔插头;在电脑上贴了一张提示：玩完电脑要及时关闭。妈妈专门是看管电灯有没有关的，如果被抓到，这个月的电费就谁交。爸爸就负责检查各电器的插头。我想：如果我们家一直这样坚持下去，一定能节省很多电的，真正的能实现低碳生活。

在这里，我还想提醒大家，想过低碳生活，就要多坐公交车，少开私家车，少抽烟，多种树，来减少二氧化碳，使我们的空气更加清新、水更清、树更绿、天更蓝!

还不止森林资源被破坏，还有我们的矿产资源。它是有限的，现在我们的开采技术不断提高，速度不断加快，使某些矿种发生短缺，甚至面临枯竭。到那时，我们将永远呆在荒凉的大地上。

面对这些，可以看出来我们失去的资源真是太多太多了!我们的依赖的资源也太多了!在我们身边，点点滴滴的资源都在减少，如果失去了这一切，我们将如何生活!所以，让我们真心地善待我们的地球母亲，努力去珍惜，去爱惜。哪怕只是多用一个小小的塑料袋，这也是不应该的!
