一年中最”闹鬼“的这天夜里，各种妖魔鬼怪、 海盗、 外星来客和巫婆们纷纷出动。在基督纪元以前，凯尔特人在夏未举行仪式感激上苍和太阳的恩惠。

万圣节其实不是基督教的节日。2500年前，爱尔兰的凯尔特人(Celts)以10月31日为一年的最後一日，11月1日是新一年的开始，也象徵冬天的来临。

凯尔特人相信死亡之神Samhain在10月31日的晚上会和鬼魂一起重返人间，寻找替身。因此他们燃点火炬，焚烧动物以作为死亡之神的献礼。还会用动物的头或皮毛做成的服饰打扮自己，发出古怪的声音，使死亡之神认不出自己，避过灾难。这就是今天万圣节化妆舞会的由来。过了当晚，鬼魂回到阴间，一切回复平静。

基督教兴起，教徒沿袭万圣节传统，万圣节的意义慢慢改为纪念为献身於神而死亡的人(holies)。

附带一提，11月2日是墨西哥的鬼节(Los Dias de los Muertos, Day of the Dead)。当天家家户户都烘烤动物造型的面包和煮鸡肉等食物，并在供桌上面放置玩具，以期待早逝的孩童们回到家中玩耍。也可以陈列鲜花、 水果、 照片和彩绘的骷髅头，接待仙逝长辈。

墨西哥人认为，鬼魂和人一样需要及时行乐，所以鬼节宛若一场嘉年华会，人们带着面具到处游走，吃骷髅形状的糖，面包上还装饰有鬼的形像。黄昏时刻，全家人一起到墓园清理墓地，妇女们或跪或坐整夜祈祷，男人们交谈或唱歌，在子夜中烛光忽闪忽灭充满了整个墓园，游唱歌者为已逝亡者的灵魂高歌吟唱。

大理州永平县的美食有黄焖鸡、稀油粉、烧饵块、沙锅饵丝。那里的玩的和吃的还有很多，我这次说不完，下次吧!

My father I think my father is a kind man, he love help people, and always forget to do something for himself. He has a good sence of humor, yes, I like that. That always make us happy. I think he is a friend of mine. Because he always talk with me. I often feel I am not his daughter but his friend. I think that my father is a good father and also a good worker. He works very hard. So he can’t play with me or my mum for long time. He think work will make him happy because work has many funny. So he always teaches me: don’t think work is a hard thing. My father has many hobby. For example, he like reading, and he also like play computer game. He use his hobby to realx. He can feel very happy if he work, and also play. He is a good man, isn’t he?

Li Ming is my best friend in our class.

She has a pair of big eyes, like two watery grapes, like any clues, slight escapes her eyes. Her nose is small, but very sensitive. Her lips were red, mouth a little. 她是一个心灵手巧的人。有一次，美术老师教我们做扇子，她教了二种方法。同学们都顺利地做完了第一把扇子，可第二把他们都不会做，无论他们怎么折、怎么粘，扇子还是做不出来。这时，我看见我的同桌李明却不慌不忙地看了看美术书，想了想，她把一张折过的纸放进材料袋中，又换了一张纸，我看见她把纸按第一种方法折，我心想：她这不是在浪费材料吗?可我这才发现，她将纸的一格折成二格，按正反正反的顺序灵巧地折下去，折完之后她用线把纸绑起来，用胶水把纸的其中一个开头粘牢，再将胶水把筷子粘起来，最后将筷子粘在纸的另一个开口，这样扇子就做成了。我也马上做了一把，同学们见了，纷纷向李明请教，她却指了指美术书，让同学们看美术书。同学们也做出了第二把扇子。

我的朋友是一个心灵手巧的人，你们羡慕我有一个这样的朋友吗?

乡村游记(A TRIP TO the COUNTRY)

One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).

When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.

有一个星期日，我母亲叫我带小弟弟去乡村游历。她吩咐我要好好照料他。

当我们沿着道路行走的时候，太阳灿烂地照耀着，微风轻轻地吹着。我们看见美丽的花儿对我们微笑着，并听见鸟儿在树上唱着悦耳的歌曲，风景实十分美丽。

当我们感觉到疲倦的时候，我们就回家了。我们看见母样正在门口等候我们。

People often praise mothers great, but, who can think of at a side left out of the father? No, there is little.

When people praise the mother gives us life, who is on the side with the anticipation of eyes, hope to be able to get from us a little, even if it is only insufficient in the mothers care about one over ten thousand of all right! 在人们赞颂母亲给予我们生命的时候，是谁在一旁带着期盼的目光，希望能从我们这里能得到一丝，哪怕只是不足于对母亲的关心的万分之一也好啊!是谁呢?是他，是撑起这个家的顶梁柱，是他，没有一丝怨言地为我们而努力，是他，是一位同样和母亲伟大的人。他，是父亲。父亲，可能不像母亲一样表达出来对我们的爱，在我们的眼里，父亲可能是个对我们要求严格，不容我们做错一丁点事情的人，可能你们会觉得父亲不爱我们，其实，并不是这样，他虽然表面上对我们和严格，可其实他的内心并不缺乏对我们的爱。

几乎所有人都感谢母亲，而我却要感谢我的父亲，如果没有他那严厉的目光，如果没有他看似冷漠的表情，如果没有他那严格的要求，如果没有他那一颗爱我的心，我将不会像现在这么的幸福。

我从心底里深深地感谢您，父亲，感谢您多年来对我那特殊的爱。
