from my own perspective, we, as college students, should read all kinds of books, including classics, to develop our own comprehensive and perfect knowledge. we should pay attention to the content of books, not the paper quality of books.

我给你们举个例子吧，中国是一个煤炭储量较高的国家，由于目前没有太多风力、水力、核能和太阳能，从而使火力发电的压力很大。开采的煤炭大多用于发电，造成2007——2008年中国煤炭价格不断攀升!

每到夏天各大城市就会出现拉闸限电的现象，这不都是人们经常开空调却不知把温度调高的缘故，如果这样开10多个小时就可能多浪费0.5-1度电。

像这样大量浪费资源，消耗资源的现象在生活中还有很多，资源是有限的，是不可再生的。因此，节约资源、减少能源消耗迫在眉睫。所以我们要从不浪费一滴水，不多开一度电做起，共同维护我们的家园吧!

周五周六周日，都是分工的，我很想在周五写作业，但是，我得去江阴画画。俗话说“先苦后甜”，所以，我一般都是在周六完成作业，这样，周日就想干什么就干什么了。

今天是星期日，我翻着一叠前天的报纸，“江苏大旱”四个大字映入我的眼帘，上面有一幅江苏地图，分成了四大块：淡灰、深灰、大红、暗红。淡灰色是轻旱，只有南部一点点，深灰色是中旱，也只有一点点，大红色有南京、常州、无锡和苏州，暗红色特旱是一大片，几乎整个苏北地区包括徐州、连云港、宿迁、淮安，都是特旱。我不寒而栗，报纸上还有一些土地干裂的照片，怪不得那么多天没下雨，差不多有好几个月了，不过今天还好，终于淅淅沥沥下了一场雨，可是，如果又要接连几个月不下雨的话，弄成像云南那样子该怎么办呢?一个星期一瓶水让人怎么活?

I am writing to express my opinion about the current policy on the official holidays, such as Spring Festival and Golden Week Holiday. As you might know, some believe it is a good idea to enjoy a week-long break. For one thing, it provides enough time for people to refresh their minds and thus to have better preparations for their future work. 现在很多地方缺水，今年年初在中国西南部就发生严重的干旱，特别是云南地区，数以万计的人们没有充足的水资源供日常使用。很多河流湖泊被污染，更严重的是，人们对水浪费严重。

为了保护水资源，让我们付出行动抵制水污染和浪费的行为吧。

看，一张张雪白的纸被人丢弃在冰凉的地上;听，一滴滴晶莹的水滴在没有扭紧的水龙头里流逝。

大街上，一张张看完的报纸、用过的白纸，一罐罐喝完的易拉罐随地可见;学校里，厕所的水龙头没有关紧，一滴滴水随着时间的流逝，慢慢的积少成多。大家都在操场上，空无一人的课室里亮着所有的灯;家里，多开了不必要的灯，洗澡时没有节约用水等。而对此，有些人不是那么在意，他们认为滴一点水，多开几盏灯，丢弃一两张纸都没有关系。但是大家因该明白积少成多这个道理，如果每个人都这样想，那我们该损失多少资源。大家也因该明白地球的资源也不是无限的，大家要节约使用。

当然，节约资源，也不是一朝一夕的事情，要从小开始养成。

妈妈从小教育我要节约，不要浪费。洗菜用的水我会把它们拿去浇花，如果用不完，就把它们倒到厕所的桶里;用过的废纸我会把它们订成一本本子做我的草稿本。报纸呢，看完后我会把它们放置好，如果需要擦窗就把它们拿出来用;洗脸时，我会把水倒在盆子里，听说这样可以节约水，而且方便把水倒在厕所的桶里;出门时，我总会带一个环保袋，绝不用塑料胶袋。相信大家都明白，塑料胶袋即不环保又不卫生;而那些喝完的饮料罐、不用的纸皮等废物，我会储存好，有空时拿出来拼装，把它们制作成科技作品。

节约资源，让我们一起保护地球。
