Huckleberry Finn was a great literary work published in 1885 and written by Mark Twain. One of the most positive things about the book would be that the reading level is not very advanced and that it shows us a glimpse of the past. One of the negatives is the amount of cursing that takes place throughout the book. This book was great, a masterpiece for the lack of words to describe how entirely wonderful it is. The book was a great classic, the only reason that I did read it is because we have to read a classic for school, however, now that I have read it I realize that it was a great book. I would read this book two or three times, and I do not like reading books again. The book was really able to portray the idea of childhood innocence and foolishness in the book, especially the end. I thought that this book was really an eye opener for people who may think that life is not worth living or maybe derpessed. Because, as you can see, Huck was a young boy who had an alcoholic father who beat him all the time, even kidnapped him after he was adopted by other people. Huck even decided to run away from his father, yet he is still a young, fun loving kid in the end, especially when Tom reveals to him how the whole trip was just a game. The only thing I have to say against the book is that it did seem a little racist with its words, however maybe this is just how they talked in that time period? Overall a great read that I highly reccomend.

《山丘上的约会》故事最精彩的部分在于两个素未谋面的人终于决定要见面了，让人紧张心跳的也正是这一刻，两人都从对方最高的期望出发，结局如何呢？作者采用了卡通化的造型，夸张地强化了故事中两个主角的差异，不论在身高或体态上都不同。很戏剧化的是，正当玲玲抬头猛往高处寻找将会从天而降的偶像时，男主角瓜瓜也正奋力地跳上山丘去赴约呢！作者运用书本竖立时的直式版面，营造出男女主角见面时的“震憾”画面，令人拍案叫绝！故事中的主角虽然都是田墅里常见的动物，但两者的外形、习性截然不同，所以见面的过程充满了曲折、趣味。孩子在阅读时因为是旁观者，一定会觉得他们好笑，从而在轻松的气氛中理解故事的发展进程。

哇！会面的结果真是令人有些失望，书信中的印象明明不是这样的埃当满怀期盼，终于可以一睹真面目时，才发现事实和想象差了一大截。这是一个有趣又常会发生的事情。其实呢，“人生不如意事十常八九”，生活中经常会有许多的遗憾和委屈。正因为如此我们常常很努力地去避免这样的事情发生，让一切都如意顺心。结果期望越高往往失望越大，以至迷失了对事物本质的认识，我们就越来越不快乐了。试问朋友的真正意义是什么？不就是无邪的友谊分享吗，至于表面的东西也就不值得计较了。

然而，一个悲剧性的故事里，却折射出一个“英雄人物”——老人圣地亚哥。连续八十四天没有捕到鱼，在别人眼中他是一个失败者。因为作为鱼夫，捕不到鱼，还能算是真正的鱼夫吗?而可贵的还是他却能在第八十五天决心驶向远方的大海去钓鱼，那种“知其不可为而为之”的勇气，难道不令我佩服吗?不论是鱼叉，小刀，短棍。一次一次被鲨鱼带走，但他始终用尽一切手段进行反击，什么也无法摧残他英勇的意志。一句“我跟你奉陪到死”，夹杂在大海的咆哮声中，回响在我耳旁。一个人把生命都压上去了，与敌人做殊死的博斗，能不算英勇吗?我想鲨鱼正是宇宙间一切破坏性力量的化身，而老人正是正义的使者。在人的一身中随时随地都存在这股破坏力量，人生是不停地循环着，喜剧的落幕，不就是悲剧的上演;悲剧的落幕，也就意味着喜剧的再度登场。老人将大马林鱼杀死看似是完美的结果，但同时他也还在“酝酿”这自己的悲剧。鲨鱼的袭击，就是应得的报应。一个人活在世上总是有所追求的，无论追求的东西是好是坏，追求的手段是正义，是卑劣，也许能够得到就是最好的结果吧。在充满悲剧色彩的全之中，仍有一丝亮点，那就是孩子。孩子带回了老人的青春，使他找回了自我。如果没一个人都拥有一份童心，一份天真，那世界不再总是灰色，就算当时你享有的是最后的晚餐，也不回忘记饭前洗手，饭后漱口了。

回想起文中老人的话“人不是为失败而生的，一个人可以被毁灭，但不能给打败”，不正道出了本文的主体吗?人正的是很奇怪的动物，为何有勇气面对死亡，却没有勇气面对失败呢?难道失败真的如此可怕吗?冷冷的海风里夹杂着一股血腥，也许真正害怕的可能是这些吧!

小说歌颂了老渔夫不畏艰险尽力奋斗的精神，我们也应弄像他那样，不能满足于近况，应弄积极向上，做任何事都要坚持不懈，碰到困难要迎难而上，决不能半途而废。只有这样，我们才能获得更大的成功和成功

桑提阿果爷爷的硬骨头精神实在令我佩服。每当我读到爷爷与鲨鱼进行激烈的搏斗时，我的心情不知是要紧张还是要为爷爷担心，可是爷爷，总是保持着乐观的精神去面对一些极大的困难。看到这里，我不由得想起了自己，每当我遇到了一些困难时，总是觉得很不顺心，觉得很烦，很想逃避现实。再看看人家桑提阿果爷爷，不管遇到任何困难也毫不退缩，而是勇敢地去面对!

做人也应该这样，不要一副贪生怕死的样子，要对自己有信心。即使我们遇到重重困难，也绝不应该让它给打倒，应该勇敢地去消灭它。

我相信，在我的努力下，我一定会变得像桑提阿果爷爷那样勇敢，那样勇于拼搏。

再次翻开姚xx老师的这本《小学英语情趣课堂教学》时，说心里话真的是很痛苦，像是下了很大的决心。过了两个月的无拘束、无压力的生活之后，发现静下心来做一件事很难，尤其是读书。因为是王老师给我们下了死任务，只好硬着头皮去读。事实证明：有压力才会有动力。这句话说的一点儿也不假。我重点研读了本书的第六章。本章节向我们展示了一些优秀的情趣英语课堂教学设计与课例，精心的教学设计，精彩的教学预设，无不体现了编写教师的独具匠心。设计中体现了人文主义，从教学目标到教学过程，都很巧妙地将传统的“要我学”转换成了“我要学”。

第一部分以北京师范大学新版小学英语教材四年级下册第十单元 Mc’s stre 6个课时的教学内容为例，展开基于情趣教学思想想的教学设计。阅读的过程中，可以看出编写教师非常细心，把课堂上的每个细节都处理的很到位，包括课堂的一些预设，生成。这一单元是一个阅读课，一提到英语阅读，我的脑海中就是bring, difficult。纵观这六课时的教学设计，教师借助插图、对话，并通过肢体语言、声音、多媒体资源、设置有效情境，挖掘文本固有的情趣，给予学生适时的语言支持和铺垫，帮助学生理解语言，理解故事。一步步地帮助学生把握技巧，培养他们的阅读能力。成功地把阅读变成悦读，使它真正地变成一种乐趣。在今后的阅读课上，我会尽力效仿，使它变得不枯燥。

第二部分是姚老师本人执教的展示课例。就像姚老师所说“情趣教学着眼于对学生学习兴趣的诱导”。在教学设计上，教师立足于激发学生的学习情趣，并通过多媒体资源，为学生呈现多个自然又生动的教学情境。另外，姚老师的板书设计给了我耳目一新的视觉体验，能够立足于文本内容的同时，重难点突出，也符合中年级学生的认知特点。

读罢此书，心中感慨万千，作为教师，很佩服姚老师的那份执着，以及对教学认真的工作态度。相比之下,我是差太多了。在教学设计上，我也要有所创新：

1.导入部分需要为所学内容做铺垫，不能华而不实。

2.适当地体现小组合作的魅力，锻炼学生的语言运用能力。根据学生的能力，在适当时机把主动权交给学生，充分关注学生的主体意识，激发学生主动参与的热情。

3.注重教学设计的整体性，连贯性。
