还记得我小时候常依偎在妈妈怀里，听妈妈讲她儿时的故事。有一次，妈妈的数学老师为学生们讲解题目，发现老师的答案与自已的不同，便悄悄地跟旁边的同学说：“老师讲错了，我想去请教”。“老师讲的答案怎么会错，难道你比老师还聪明?”旁边的同学笑了。妈妈不服气，鼓起勇气还是去问老师。果真是老师不小心算错了……妈妈的心甜滋滋的，脸上总是扬起一丝丝微笑。听了妈妈这段故事，我不解地问“为什么您不怕同学取笑呀?”妈妈抚摸着我小脑袋，“孩子，妈妈追求的是真理啊!”

我现在长大了，才明白对真理的追求是永无止境的。古今中外，有多少文人墨客、伟大学者执著追求真理，而不惜付出自已的毕生精力，自己的青春，甚至是自己的生命!

伟大的科学家——哥白尼，他是对真理最虔诚的追求者。他倾尽心血研究他的“日心说”，可恨遭到野蛮的教会反对，不惜付出生命的代价，也只是为了追求真理，打破腐朽思想，把真理告知世人。还有许许多多的科学家，他们又何尝不是冒着生命的危险来追求伟大的真理?

我国伟大的共产主义先驱李大钊，在青年时期目睹了祖国山河遭到侵略者的蹂躏，百姓遭到帝国主义的压迫，他立志要寻求救国救民的真理。李大钊曾经说过“人生最高之理想，在求达于真理。”他积极宣传马克思主义，领导革命运动，把人民的解放和祖国的复兴当作自己毕生的事业，为“我理想之中华”而奋斗不息，直到生命尽头仍坚信革命必胜的真理。可见真理的小小钻石是多么罕见难得，但一经开采琢磨，便能经久、坚硬而晶亮。

他们为了真理奉献了一切。为此，我们不禁自问：难道追求真理是这么难的吗?是的，真理与苦难是孪生姐妹。当我们极力追求真理时，苦难总会出来阻碍我们，只有勇敢无畏地奔跑，才能到达真理的目标。真理本是黯淡无光的沙粒，只因有了追求者，才把它磨成绽放光芒的珍珠。经历苦难后，我们又何尝不是享受到修成正果的喜悦?

人生长河中，河岸的左侧是铭记，河岸的右侧是忘记，让我们忘记虚伪丑恶，铭记真理，追求真理吧!
