我的家乡在河南省南阳，那里有许多的特产，我要写的是：我家乡的特产——山茱萸。

山茱萸即可药用，又可观赏。它又称山萸肉、药萸、药枣、肉枣、它的药用价值很高，可补肝、益肾，安五脏，通九窍。山茱萸的肉质果皮破裂多皱缩，呈不规则片状或扁筒状，质柔润不易碎，肉内面色较浅，不光滑。无臭味，涩而苦。因为它形似大枣，所以也有很多人称它为“小黑枣”可作饮料、果酱、蜜罐头。

要说最年长的山茱萸，那桂冠可非西峡县唐岈村的那棵大名鼎鼎的茱萸王莫属了。它的树龄竟有一百多岁了！树高10米左右，年产鲜果最高达400多公斤呢！（当然只此一棵树）只树冠，就竟覆盖出80多平方米的树阴。这庞然大物真使我惊讶呀！
