In regard to air pollution Lanzhou has some of the worst air quality of all cities in China. According to the Blacksmith Institute, Lanzhou is one of the 30 most polluted cities in the world, with its TSP (total suspended particle) rating 247% above that of the Gansu State recommendation. The air quality is so poor that at times one can not see Lanshan, the mountain rising straight up along the south side of the city. At one point, a controversial suggestion was put forward to bulldoze a mountain adjacent to the city, in order to let fresh air in to the bowl where Lanzhou is situated. It was suggested on the premise that the surrounding mountains block a free flow of air in the city. The city is located in a narrow river valley with an unfortunate curve causing it to be hemmed in with no free air flow. Lanzhou is also the home of many factories, including some involved in petroleum processing, and suffers from large dust storms kicked up from the Gobi Desert, especially in the winter and spring.

我的家乡在东北，那里有一个湖叫“镜泊湖”。

春天，镜泊湖旁的柳树抽出新芽儿了，竹笋也从地里钻出来了。动物们都苏醒了：青蛙爬来爬去，等待夏天的到来;小松鼠跳来跳去，去找吃的去了……

夏天，镜泊湖充满生机。湖的四周镶嵌着各种各样的小石头，石头上还覆盖着嫩绿的青苔。那绿的没有一点儿杂色的草，那悄悄开放着的花朵，给镜泊湖编了个朴素的花环。水是那样清，清的能看见湖底的沙粒。水里还有鱼。可能正是因为有鱼，所以引来了绿毛鸭。一只只鸭子抱着屁股往水里跳，青蛙也在荷叶上叫个不停。

秋天来了，枫树掉叶子了。叶子掉在湖的四周，就像一只只蝴蝶。天气逐渐变冷了。青蛙，乌龟，绿毛鸭都回山洞去了。

终于盼到冬天了!下雪了。一阵风吹来，从地平线上漫来一层轻雾。雾重起来，没有多久就下雪了。过了一会儿，就下起了白花般的雪。先是零零落落，后来逐渐扩大，横飞过来，给大地披上了一层“银装”。天地间一片洁白。

“金心玉瓣，翠蒂天香。”滁州的菊花闻名全国，在清光绪年间，还被用为“贡菊”贡于它国，用其制成的菊花茶，是非常不错的饮品。

一般泡制的滁菊都是干的，干菊花呈圆形，花形干瘪，感觉全身无力，摊在那儿，两边花瓣为白色，花瓣的中间有一个金黄色的小花蕊，花蕊的颜色显眼，看上去十分亮丽。

从菊罐中取出一些菊花放入杯中，它们有的趴着，有的躺着，还有的侧着似乎在看杯外的“风景”。这时倒入沸腾的开水，沸腾的水直冲杯底，刚才还在那静静躺着的菊花瞬间欢腾起来，在杯底的菊花仿佛腾云驾雾般从杯底直窜上去。升到杯口，刚才还是干瘪无力，刹那间便变得异常兴奋，有的在水中不停翻滚，像体操运动员做出的高难度翻滚动作；有的在水中打转，仿佛在跳着水中芭蕾，那动作婀娜多姿，一看就知道受过专业的训练；还有的菊花精灵在水中受过专业的训练；还有的菊花精灵在水中悠然自得，一会儿上升，一会儿下降，好像在走着太空步，显得十分有活力！

我的家乡在黄岩，那里有许多特产有蜜橘，芋头，竹笋，杨梅。但是我最喜欢家乡的特产蜜橘。

五月，橘花开了不少了。树叶挨挨挤挤的，像一个个小爱心。白橘花在这些爱心中间冒出来。有的蓓蕾初绽，像刚睡醒的小姑娘。有点全展开了。有的还是花骨朵儿，开起来饱胀的马上要破裂似的。远远的也能闻到香气。

初夏，花谢了结出了绿色的小果子，远远看去就像一个个绿色的小笑脸。

秋天，橘子成熟了，从树上摘下一个橘子，剥开皮看见一个个像月牙儿的果子，拿起一个塞到嘴里，味道好极了，甜到心里头。

我特爱家乡的蜜橘。

我的家乡泉州是一座历史悠久的文化古城，史称“刺桐城”，因为这里满城开着美丽的刺桐花而得名。今天我向大家介绍的是我们家乡的特产——龙眼。

龙眼是一种滋补的水果。它的外表是灰褐色的，圆形的，有一个拇指那么大，剥开灰褐色的壳，乳白色的肉晶莹剔透，轻轻地咬上一口，甜甜的汁液顺着喉咙往下流，让人吃在嘴里，甜在心里。

龙眼的别名是桂圆，关于这名字的来自一个传说。古时候，蛟龙捣海，搞得人心惶惶，这时出现了一个名叫桂圆的英雄。他与蛟龙大战了三天三夜，费了好大的劲才把蛟龙砍死。他挖下了龙的眼睛，带在身上，往家的方向走去。县官听了，便来抢龙眼，此时的桂圆已筋疲力尽，难以敌得过在批的官兵，最终寡不敌众，被抓住了。桂圆吞下了一粒龙眼，死了。另一粒龙眼掉在地上“啪”的一声爆裂，县官只好带着官兵灰心丧气地走了。

村民们把桂圆遗体埋了。第二年的春天，桂圆的墓地上长出了一棵树，果实很像龙的眼睛，他们把这种果实称为桂圆或龙眼。

我的老家在微山县，那里物产丰富，风景优美，特别是春天的微山湖，令人流连忘返，久久不愿离开。

春天的微山湖边柳树姑娘摇着她那一头美丽的长发，柳条上钻出的许多鹅黄色的嫩芽儿，就像姑娘秀发上插着的小黄花。春风吹拂着大地，呼唤着沉睡的小草，小草在大地上探出头来，摇一摇那瘦小的身子立马变的精神起来。没过几天，蒙蒙的细雨就帮小草换上了绿油油的新装。湖水清澈，有野鸭子在湖里游来游去，坐着船一眼就望到一群群小鱼自由自在地游来游去。

来到微山湖湿地公园，千万只小白鹭都从南方飞回来了，有的藏起来“谈情说爱”，有的冲天而上，直插云霄。成群结队休息、觅食的壮观景色让人叹为观止。

微山湖的特产也很丰富，最有名的是麻鸭蛋。蛋黄金灿灿的，吃起来油汪汪的。还可以品尝鱼丝鱼片鱼丸子，感受一下微山湖小龙虾的麻辣鲜香，定可以让你终身难忘！

美丽的微山湖不是西湖胜是西湖，不负春光不负美，快来微山湖游玩吧！

苹果我的家乡在山西省东部的阳泉市，这里四面环山，环境优美、空气清新。家乡物产丰富，有煤炭、硫磺、铝矾土、核桃……不过，我最喜欢的还是那酸甜可口的苹果。苹果看起来圆圆的，皮是红色的，好像一个红红的小灯笼，又像一个西红柿。摸着感觉很光滑，放在灯光下，还会发光呢！

闻起来有非常淡的清香味，先吃一口试试，又香又脆，好吃极了，咬一口满嘴都是甜甜的汁，让人感到舒畅极了，吃完一口还想再吃一口。它的果肉是淡黄色的，果皮里面还含有丰富的维生素。有机会欢迎到我的家乡来，来尝一尝酸甜可口的苹果。
