在国庆节的美好假期里，我们一家参加了小外公的七十大寿。

清晨，我们赶快到了小外公那里做麻圆。我们到的时候，已经有几位舅舅、舅妈在那里煮糯米饭。煮好了饭，妈妈就把饭放进一个大盆子里再端上桌，由姨爹把糯米饭做成一个个圆形，我哥哥把芝麻和糖倒在一起搅拌一下，再把糯米团放在那里面，这样糯米团就裹上了一层黑白相间的外衣，好看极了。做完了，大家还叫小外公吃长寿面，他老人家可开心呢!

一转眼就到了中午，大家都到饭店里去吃饭，那里欢声笑语，热闹非凡。开饭了，我们吃到了一半，哥哥就叫我们小孩子去敬酒。我们到了包厢看见小外公，我们就对她说：“祝外公福如东海、寿比南山。”吃完饭后，大家纷纷都去玩了。

一个下午很快过去了就到了晚上，大家到舅舅家吃晚餐。舅妈们一个个争先恐后地要炒菜，厨房里热闹极了。过了一会儿，一盘盘热气腾腾的菜出炉了，大家津津有味地吃了起来。饭吃完了，生日蛋糕出场了，打开盖子，里面有个老寿星，舅妈把老寿星给了小外公，并祝他长命百岁。

这个国庆节虽然我没有游山玩水，但是在小外公家我品尝了山珍海味，享受了与亲人相聚的快乐，非常开心。

I enjoyed my May Day holiday. We Chinese people celebrated the International Labour Day in different ways. Some of us really enjoyed our holiday vacations, so we went sightseeing and visiting our loved ones. However, other people had to take their duties on this holiday.

For example, the police, firefighters and soldiers were on their duties by keeping us safe throughout the holiday. Hospitals opened during the holiday, so doctors and nurses were on call for taking care of their patients. 清早，我和爸爸妈妈就拿上抓螃蟹的工具赶往渡口和同学们会合了。到了渡口，我们连人带车上了一艘大大的渡轮。只听见一声轰鸣，渡轮便开起来了，五六分钟后，我们便到了向往已久的双山岛。到了目的地，我们看见泥地里很多很多的螃蟹在迅速地爬行着。我们激动极了，立马换好雨鞋，一手拿着铲子，一手拿着小桶，就朝螃蟹奔去。我看中了一只小螃蟹，鼓起勇气伸出手来，可那只螃蟹却举起了大螯，想要夹我，我马上把手缩了回来，大喊着向爸爸请求支援。只见爸爸用手按住螃蟹的背甲，再用大拇指和食指按住两只大螯，最后轻轻一捏，这只螃蟹就成了爸爸的手下败将了。螃蟹在爸爸的手上扭来扭去的，想要夹爸爸却又夹不着，气得眼睛都鼓起来了，我心中却乐开了花。后来，我也学着爸爸的样子抓住了几只小螃蟹，信心大增，便想尝试抓大一点的螃蟹。爸爸告诉我：大螃蟹一般都躲在洞里，洞越大，一般螃蟹就越大。我找到一个大洞口，用铲子使劲地挖起来，可是越挖螃蟹就越往里钻，可把我急死了。这时，爸爸又给我支了一招：螃蟹洞有点斜，只要用铲子在洞后方叉进去，然后一撬，螃蟹就会被吓得跑出来，这时我们再抓就简单多了。后来我和爸爸通力合作，前后夹击，抓了好多大螃蟹，我们的桶渐渐满起来了!这时候妈妈们喊：“收工啦!”我们便拎着小桶意犹未尽地往上爬，这时我们相互看了看，发现一个个都变成了小泥人，不约而同地哈哈大笑起来。到了酒店，我们亲手抓的小螃蟹也被加工成了美食。吃着用自己的汗水换来的美味，我们心里乐滋滋的。吃完饭，我们还骑了自行车，打了高尔夫球，真是收获颇丰啊!
