我的家乡是位于山西省东边的--阳泉，这里风景优美，物产丰富，是个令人向往的好地方。

想当年，阳泉还只是中国版图上一个极不起眼的小地方。四处只有荒凉的土地和低矮的平房。可是，在党的领导下，这里发生了翻天覆地的变化，土地变广场，平房变高楼。阳泉—我的家乡焕发出了勃勃生机。

如果来到阳泉，阳泉的几处风景名胜你可是非转不可。翠枫山位于山西省阳泉市市郊西南部，这里山势挺拔，翠绿苍劲，而生机力无限，溪水潺潺，水质优良，且蕴涵量丰富……。狮垴山，整个公园由山顶平台、北风垅、刀刃梁、将军垴四部分组成。狮垴山森林公园系以纪念参加百团大战的八路军英雄业绩为主要内容的纪念性森林公园，碑群周围和景观布置得庄严肃穆，其余大部分区域则利用自然地形分区设置，每区景观各具特色，中南部依势挖山建湖筑榭。各景区皆以古朴、典雅的园林建筑及小品点缀之。为纪念抗日战争胜利50周年，公园于1995年8月15日建成“百团大战纪念碑”。刘备山地处阳泉市中北部，主峰山势陡峭，气势雄伟，势如坐佛，巍然而立，俯瞰人间，十分壮观。刘备山主峰高达1272.6米，山脉面积近20平方公里，群山环绕，山上人文景观十分丰富。可以说阳泉处处花草遍地，绿树成阴。娘子关，原名苇泽关。在山西阳泉平定县城北45公里处，是长城著名关隘，出入山西的咽喉。藏山， 地处太行山西麓，山西阳泉盂县城北十八公里处; 因春秋时藏匿赵氏孤儿得名。境内峰峦叠嶂，古刹栉比;山间神祠祀赵家遗孤之位;中华忠义苑弘扬忠孝爱国之情;志士仁人视为圣洁忠义之地，千百年来留名篇佳作无数。山以史传，史以文传，汇中华儒家文化于此藏孤胜境，誉为晋东第一名山。冠山，因其主峰形状似冠，并高冠于附近群山而得名。山间古刹相连，有资福寺、祟古书院、文昌阁 (吕祖洞在其下)及夫子洞，人称"冠山书院"。各个历史人文一样不缺。

说起特产小吃，平定的沙锅、阳泉铁锅、盂县花椒别具一格。玉茭面、糊嘟、炒不烂风味独特。不仅这样，我们阳泉还是全国最大的无烟煤基地呢。

最亮丽的风景要数正在改建的桃河公园。初入阳泉，首先看到的是气势宏伟的桃河桥，河的两岸，花红柳绿，煞是令人留恋忘返。改建后的桃河会蓄水，想必清澈的河水配有五彩的路灯，成为人们休闲、嬉戏的好去处。

阳泉，我的家乡，生我养我的地方。我爱这里，我爱家乡的每一寸土地，我一定要好好学习，把家乡建设的更美丽!

华县有两大特产，第一是花花馍，花花馍就是在过年，寿辰，结婚，满月等重大日子时，用发面做成的各种各样的造型，有龙、有鱼、有猴子、有仙桃、有凤凰……形态各异，栩栩如生，表达了人们对美好生活的希望和祝福。第二就是皮影，这里的皮影非常有名，它是这里的民间艺人用驴皮雕刻加工成的工艺品，颜色鲜亮，人物形态各异，活灵活现，它不光可以挂着作装饰，还可以用来表演皮影戏呢!
