The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery contains a fairy tale which concludes plentiful things.The first thing we can learn from the book is the innocence of childhood and love.Although disappointed by what his roses said,the little prince still loved them.In the weiter’s opinion ,the roses stand for the pure love.

As the prince growed up,he made a decision to explore other planets and leave his hometown,a planet which just one person lived in.When travelling in the other planets,he discovered that his rose is not the only one of its kind.There are abandunt kinds of roses in the garden,but he still held the opinoion that his rose is special "because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen" .

Scarlett was so angry that she decided to marry a man she didn’t really love---- Charles Hamilton.Not long after that, Charles Hamilton joined the Army and died of illness in the war.So Scarlett had to act as a widow.Afterwards,at a donating dance party,Scarlett is acquainted with a captain named Rhett Butler. Ashley Wilkes is the foil to Rhett’s dark, realistic opportunism.If there was no Civil War,he is surely a nobility of grace and charm.But history cannot be changed.He bocame a victim of the war.His era was gone with the defeat of the war.At the same time,we cannot deny the fact that he had a chear understanding about reality,which just contribute to his tragedy.

In this book,what I appreciate most is not Melanie’skindness or Rheet’s dedication and patience,but Scarlett’s courage to throw her long-standing morality and tradition whe faced with diffiiculties.At the beginning of the war,she didn’t care about this.In her world are endless dinner parties and dance parties.In her body are her father’s brave Irish blood and her mother’s noble French pure blood.She had a vast farm as her home.She had hundreds of slaves.This is Scarlett.,a member of noblity,proud and different.However,the war changed everything.Her mother died of illness.Her father become silent and the farm was nearly deserted.Even food became a big problem.All the pressure was put on Scarlett’s shoulder.She must feed a family of 9 people in it.What a big difference of level.If all this happened to someone else,he or she may choose to escape.On the contrary,Scarlett choose to face the change of life bravely.How can we not admire her courage of to change herself.Life is like a mountain.The road can’t be completely smooth.When we fall down from the peak,we may get hert ,we may get disappointed,we may feel despair.But if you want to survive,you must stand up to face it.

Having read the book Sister Carrie written by Theodore Dreiser,a very complicate feeling struck me,for the society,the people in America in the late 19th century.We can see clearly about the decadent and hypocritical moral principles of the bourgeois.They pursue only position,authority and money.Pleasure is their honest companion.

The society was developing rapidly and the people"s living standards were also improving.Yes,the prosperity appeared.But on the other hand,the gap between the poor and the rich was strengthened.While some people were playing and drinking,the other people were working,even begging.Behind the happiness,hiding much misery.Facing all of these,I am confused whether I should happy about the development of the society or I should sad about the cruel.

But I know I will give much sympathy to all of these people,no matter they rich or poor.I am sorry that the rich have lost their good morality,their sympathy and I think they are blank in their spiritThe poor,of course,are busy all the day for supporting themselves and their family,no time enjoying the life.All of them are the sacrifices of the society.

Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some

think yes, while others hold the opposite.

It is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and

live a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack of

money causes great distress. It is a common view that "money is the root of all

evil." The pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. In some

I’ve been wondering where one’s childlike purity has gone when he or she grows up. To find the answer, I read The Little Prince, which is a fairy tale for adult and fable about life, written by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.

The story of The Little Prince is about a prince from an asteroid named B-612, which is a fairly small one, with three volcanoes and a rose on it. The prince spent his days caring for his "planet", sweeping the volcanoes and pulling out the baobab trees that would make his little planet turn to dust if they were not removed. However, he was lonely. He watched the sunset every time he was down. He had seen the sunset forty-three times in a day, for endless loneliness and sadness filled up his heart. Fortunately, a beautiful rose enriched his life. She loved the distressed prince, while the prince loved her sincerely as well. Unluckily, the sensitive prince once doubted about love due to the rose’s anger, and he left his rose as well as his planet to start his lonely journey.

After visiting six other asteroids, he came to the earth. He met a fox and tamed it. It was the fox who taught the prince that his rose was in a class by herself. The prince began to realized that he was tamed by his rose, he responsible for her. As a result, he was eager to see his rose again, but he found himself unable to leave the earth. Finally, the prince chose to go back to his asteroid with the snake’s bite, though he felt afraid of pains.

Every time I read The Little Prince, I am moved by the prince’s attitude toward the world. It is his attitude that brings my sincerity and innocence back. First day of losing weight

Today is the first day of my plan of losing weight.This morning , i drunk

only a cup of milk oatmeal as plan,and then i started to studied my english.when

it was 10：00 am, the inner man began to crave the nourishment, i couldnt

concentrate my attention to study， and there fried all kinds of delicious food

in my brain:hamburgers、dumplings、egg fried rice and omelette…… .After ten

minutes strugling，I couldnt help that anymore! I rushed to the kitchen, in

今天是我减肥计划的第一天。今天早上，按照计划，我只喝了一杯牛奶燕麦，然后就去学习英语了。到了上午10点钟的时候，我的肚子开始咕咕叫想要吃东西了，我不能集中精神好好学习，满脑子飞过各种各样的美食：汉堡包、饺子、蛋炒饭、煎蛋……经过10分钟的挣扎，我终于忍不住了!我冲进厨房，把所有能吃的食物都吃了!吃完之后，想着自己其实并没有胖到要节食的地步，我最终决定放弃减肥。不过怎么样，我应该继续享受我所认为是世界上最美好的东西——美食。

这个暑假，我重温了一遍了《简爱》，感到很有收获。

简爱弱小、平凡、一度贫穷而且并不漂亮，似乎不像是一个伟大故事的主角，可她却有相当于此的举动。在不幸的童年中长大的她没有被生活击垮，而是勇敢地争取自身的自由与平等。书中，她的几个言行片段给我留下了深刻的印象。

简父母早亡，住在舅妈家中。当常常欺负她的表兄又一次辱骂并打她时，她十分气愤，没有忍气吞声、逆来顺受，而是大声地指责他，尽最大的力气还击他，尽管表兄个头、力气都比她大得多。这时她才十岁。虽说这举动里有绝望以及复仇的意味，但勇敢、不屈的精神却已开始萌芽。我常想，我十岁时若遇到类似的事，能不能表现得像简一样呢?

由于小时侯在舅妈家受到过种种不公正的待遇，简爱恨透了舅妈。可简渐渐长大，经历了许多事，不再是个懵懂的孩子，也不再恨她了。得知舅妈重病后，简立刻回到舅妈家并陪在舅妈身边，和她说话。简说：“虽然我曾发誓不再叫她舅妈，但打破了誓言我并不后悔。”看到这句话时，我觉得心里某个地方被触动了：毕竟原谅一个曾伤害过自己的人绝非易事。我忍不住要感叹：“简爱长大了!她是个多么可爱的人啊!”

长大后的简不仅善良，而且更加自立自强。

“你以为我是没有感情的机器吗?”她做家教时曾激动而恼怒地对主人说，“你以为我弱小、平凡、贫穷，就没有灵魂、没有心吗?——你想错了!……我们在上帝面前是平等的!”在当时，家庭教师受到歧视，可简爱却不觉得自己卑贱，她不卑不亢地捍卫自己的尊严和人格，让其他人接受她：他们是平等的!我被震撼了，多么可敬的话语，多么可敬的精神啊!

简爱或许弱小，或许平凡，但却是自己命运的掌控者。当她知道自己所深爱也爱着自己的主人结过婚而且妻子还在世时，她为了尊严痛苦而毅然地离开了;而后来，她得知那疯妻子放火烧了房子坠楼而亡，而主人也为了救人折臂并失明，她又不顾一切地回到了主人身边。正如一切最好的故事一样，他们最终过上了幸福的生活。谁又能说这幸福不是简自己争取来的呢?

读完《简爱》，我的感触很深。我希望有一天我也能像简一样，勇敢顽强、自立不屈，并且成为自己命运的掌控者。

在世上人人都是平等的，读了《简爱》后，我的心灵又经过了一次“洗礼”。

主人公简爱，她虽然没有美丽的外表，更是没钱，但她有着一颗对生活炽热的心。她不向命运低头，勇敢地追求。

简爱还是一个十分善良的人，虽然简爱的舅妈里德太太在她小的时候，曾狠心地把简爱送进了孤儿院。但是在她舅妈里德太太生病快去世的紧要时刻，她还是离开了桑菲尔庄园，度过平原，来到舅妈家，去看望她快去世的舅妈里德太太。并且原谅了她的舅妈里德太太，简爱最终的美好生活也是和她舅妈里德太太，她的善良有一定关系。

文中的罗切斯特也是一位值得欣赏和学习的人物。他虽然有很多财富，身价就有3万英镑，但他还是有着睿智的头脑。他对待爱情十分执着，他不在乎简爱没钱的家庭，卑微的身份，他敢爱敢恨，热情奔放，具有同情心。正是因为如此，他和简爱最终才能永远幸福地地生活下去，罗切斯特很善良，他原来的妻子是一个疯子，但是罗切斯特知道自己的妻子是一个大疯子以后，并没有抛弃自己的妻子，而且收留了她。后来，一个黑色的夜晚，这个疯子把房子点起了火，走上了隔楼，罗切斯特为了救人，从高空掉落，成了一个残疾人。简爱和罗切斯特这份地位悬殊的爱情也是他们共同奋斗的结果，从简爱从小在孤儿院如此艰难的处境成长，并拥有博大的学识的才华就可以看出简爱肯吃苦耐劳努力地把握自己的人生，敢于奋斗。这也是简爱的优秀品质的一部分。

简爱敢爱敢恨的性格，也十分值得赞美的。她有着火一般的热情和赤城心灵。虽然简爱从屈于世欲的压力，她不甘于社会指定她们的不平等的地位努力地追求爱，勇敢地去爱。

简爱的表哥是一位为宗教献身的牧师，他的名字叫圣约翰，他固执地笃信上帝，敏锐而严肃，喜欢帮助人，也正是因为这样，在简爱走投无路的时候，他救过简爱一次。可以说没有圣约翰也不会有如此美好的结局。或许，我们也要感谢圣约翰。

我们要学习简爱，做一个敢爱敢恨，自尊自强，不卑不亢，不向命运低头的人。用那一颗炽热的心灵，温暖自己的生命。也要学习桑菲尔德庄园的主人——罗切斯特，学会动脑，要老实诚实，学会帮助别人，学会做人，要善良。

The Winter Holiday We are going to have the winter holiday.During the holiday we will have the Spring Festival.So all of the families in China are having a busy time.All of the children in China like Spring Festival very much,because they can eat many delicious food and get many money.But children in China have to do the homework for Winter Holiday.So that the could remember what they have learn the year before.Each of the children likes Winter Holiday. 我们即将放寒假,在寒假期间,我们将要过春节,所以所有中国家庭都十分忙碌,所有的中国孩子都十分喜爱春节,因为他们可以吃很多好吃的食品和得到很多的压岁钱,但是中国孩子必须在寒假里做作业,以便他们能够记住他们以前学的东西,每个孩子都喜欢寒假!

My winter holidays plans

My winter holidays plans me studying for my English , I will make great efforts to learn English. Persist in listening to half hours of English every day. I will accomplish the school assignment that the teacher arranges best with the quickest speed. I can not forget to take the body exercise certainly also , I may take the body exercise coming drawing out 30- - 1 hours in time in every day. I play with the once computer coming certainly may draw out one small Duan time , watch one meeting TV or. Certainly need only 1 hour. This it is my winter holidays to plan!

Abstract: This film Shawshank Redemption describes a man called Andy Dufresne was sent to the prison for he murdered his wife but in fact he was innocent. Then he started fighting against with the wicked prison life. Though he suffered many unfair treatments and ordeals, he never gives up himself. Due to his intelligence and perseverance, he spend 20 years successfully escape from the prison as a redemption. He teaches me that never lose hope.

The story took place in 1940. A man who is a banker called Andy Dufresne, was sent into the Shawshank prison, for he murderer his wife and her lover in bed. However, he was innocent as he said. The new days in the prison were hard to live. It’s violent, heartless and cruel. Nevertheless, A month later, Andy began to make friends with other prisoners. And one of them called Red, who could get anything what he wanted. Andy bought a mallet from him and started his plan to escape. During this time, he did many things: expanding the library, caving stones, helping the corrupt warden to get money or bribe, etc. Then a young prisoner’s coming break his quiet life in jail. But the warden killed the young prisoner the only man that knew Andy was innocent. Then he knew the prison he could not stay any more. It took him 20 years to tunnel secretly and he successfully escaped from the prison. When he got free, Andy sent the evident which could prove the warden corruption, briber and murdering to the policy agency. Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.

The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption. This film impressed me a lot. A sentence was said in the film: ’Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it.’

In this film, as we can see, the Shawshank Prison, which enjails lots of people. They have been in the prison form many years ,so they won’t go abroad. Because they won’t and also they can’t. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and what’s their hope. As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined. For example, he seldom see cars before. He felt very strange and helpless to the outside world He can hardly adapt to the new developed world. He would rather stay in the prison. So unfortunately he chose to commit suicide.

However, on the contrary, Andy said a converse sentence:’ Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, that"s all. Their feathers are just too bright’ He long for the freedom and strive for it! What I remember very clearly is someone said that These walls are kind of funny things like that. First, you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That is institutionalizing. But Andy hadn’t been affected. He insisted on his faith of freedom. He dared to pursue his deserved freedom! That’s the first point I appreciate.

What’s more, another thing I think is friendship. Of course, Andy’s perseverance and endeavor is the main reason that he succeed in escaping. But it can’t be denying that friendship is also a important reason. Without the friends’ help in the prison, especially red’s, He can’t break the prison, too. Even in the jail which is the most evil place that Andy could make it a significance place. He had transformed a storage room smelling of turpentine into the best prison library in New England. Then the prisoners read the books and got knowledge from it. Andy also helped them to pass the high school equivalency. The glitters of him lighted others’ life. That helps him built many sincere friendships in the prison. He just too bright that didn’t belong to the prison .Then he escape and gained the freedom.

Furthermore, the patience, courage and b willpower are the keys to escape. 20 years, not a short ordeal time, but he endured. He made his plan day by day, week by week and year by year. He never gives up. he took nearly twenty years to dip a tunnel with a little rock hammer which Red said it would take a man 600 years to tunnel under the wall with one of these to fight for his free .And he did it finally. Please imagine, crossing the tunnel he dup, he still should crawled through five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness. That is the length of five football fields.

Then is the last but not least, I think. He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent, and the most important thing----hope. Just as Andy said to Red: Hope is a good thing, may be the best of things. In this film, Andy show us that how good thing the hope is. Yes , hope is a good thing. Whatever it is, it can’t lock the hope. We all have dream. We all have hope. We all have it and please never give up, like Andy.

This film, Shawshank Redemption, teaches me a lot. It deserves to be one of the most overwhelming films in the Hollywood.

I had a fun and special holiday。On Monday，I did my homework and read some interesting story－books。Tuesday morning，I went to a big nice supermarket。I bought a lot of food。Then I ate them。Oh，they were yummy！In the afternoon，I played ping－pong with my father。 I won the match。I was so happy。Wednesday morning，I played chess with my mother。My mother won the game。But I was not sad。Because it was only a game。We played，we had fun。Wednesday evening，I watched TV with my parents。My parents are always busy。They have no time to play with me。But that night we were very close，very happy！

I love this special holiday！

我有一个饶有趣味并且特殊的假期。在星期一，我做了回家作业，还读了一些有趣的故事书。星期二的早晨，我去了一个又大又漂亮的超市。我买了很多食物，接着我吃掉了它们。哦，它们真美味！下午，我与爸爸打起了乒乓。我战胜了他。我非常开心。星期三早上，我和我妈妈下棋，我妈妈赢了比赛，但是我不伤心，因为它只是一个游戏。我们在游戏中获得了乐趣。星期三晚上，我和我的父母一起看电视。他们总是很忙。他们没有时间陪我玩。但是那个晚上我们很亲密，非常高兴！
