英语村是我六年级毕业以后学校组织的一次英语活动。聘请外教来上课，吃住都在学校中，听说还可以在晚上搞搞活动，看看影片，其乐无穷。

于是，我动心了，便成为了英语村中的一名学子。好兴奋!虽说我的自理能力挺差的，不过，我更渴望一些自由，更渴望无拘无束地玩耍。我渴望与外教谈天说地，我渴望学到那纯正的英语……虽说我的英语水平说不上怎么好，但是，毕竟比别人多学了几年的剑桥英语，要是想表达一个意思，想法，那是绝对没问题的。想到自己在英语村中一定会很出色，不由地沾沾自喜。但现在想想，父母的忠告的确是对的：“你不要感觉太好了，离开了父母你会碰到很多困难的。”而我却说了一句：“我不是自我感觉良好，而是自我感觉优秀!”

回想一下，的确希望是越大，失望也就越大。在整个英语村中，我还是吃了很多苦的，当时当然也很后悔，但毕竟也锻炼了我的能力，让我学会了很多的知识，学会了生活。对自己而言，我是很成功的!

This holiday is my best busy holiday for I am learning English, computer and word and I fall in the weekend exam. winter is my favourite season. because my birthday is in it. it lasts from december to february. in winter it is cloudy, windy, cold and dry. in winter i take off my dress and put on my coat. i can make a snowman, go sking and go skating in it. i can drink chocolate. but i can’t drink cold water and eat ice-creams. winter is white. i like winter very much.

My school is at Haimen Town. It is very big and beautiful. There are forty-three classes in it. When you come to our school, you can see the modern teaching building. Our teachers work and do practice in it. Behind the building, there are two classroom buildings and a school library. In the library there are thousands and thousands of books. After class you can borrow the books you want and also you can read them in the reading room at any time. Beside our classroom, there is a big playground.
